I loved staying here, would return in a heartbeat. Close to Plaza Santa Ana, the art museums, restaurants, jazz, everything. Yet, quiet and excellent sleeping conditions. Staff were kind and other guests respectful of the quiet. Even though I was near the elevator and front door, I was never disturbed. Thank you so very much for a beautiful, relaxing visit to Madrid. Muchas gracias!

Very good place to stay in the center of Madrid, especially for a short time. Quiet, close to main attractions, restaurants, etc. Would stay again.

It turned out our returning flight from Madrid coincided with a big festival and we were limited to a stay at a hostel. It was very small, but not bad, had a fully enclosed shower at least. The area is convenient, short walk to Plaza del Sol.

Location is excellent for this hostal. Super close to the Prado Museum and Retiro Park, it's perfect for sightseeing. I didn't know what a hostal was until I stayed here. Heads up, though - "hostal" basically means a smaller, no-frills hotel. I had no idea before staying here! Check-in was a tad confusing for me as there was no front desk person. When I messaged through the hotels.com app, the response was super fast. For the price, you can't beat it. The room was clean and decent, overall a great value.

Wow i feel i have been over paying at other hotels just to sleep. Gracias for a great, comfortable and safe stay as i traveled alone.

A very lovable stay. The hostal is on the six floor of a building by the Plaza de las Cortes. You can actually get a solid location using the googlemap. Most of the city monuments are within 20 minutes walk. The host received me earlier than check In time and had the room available and ready. The city is safe-walk with many Tapas stores to enjoy eating. Great stay very recommendable.

I Host You provided an economical and comfortable stay during our 4 nights in Madrid. At first I was wary of being somewhere without a front desk, but the organizer was very responsive on What's App and able to solve any concerns we had. The room was on the 6th floor of a building that was under construction. We took an elevator to 6 and then went through another locked door. There were approximately 15 rooms available and we never saw anyone else during our stay. The room itself was small but very comfortable with a modern bathroom and junior fridge which was amazing. We didn't have any view to speak of but it was also very quiet which we liked. The AC was powerful and bed very comfortable. There wasn't anything fancy about the place but since we were out for the majority of the day it suited us just fine. The price could not be beat for such an amazing location in the the center of Madrid.

I liked that they have a decent size fridge inside the room, with complementary water, also has a coffee machine and tea free of charge. I asked for a blanket to be changed and they did with a smile and the best kindness, I asked to switch off the stand by from the TV as at night affects my son to fall asleep, and again the young man did without problems and the best attitude. The cleaners are so lovely and helpful too! The room was sparkling clean and was such a great feeling to come back and rest. I highly recommend this hostal. The only cons (which is out of their control) is that there are work roads right in front of the hotel, so no access with taxi if you are coming with lots of luggage like me, also seems that the building is going through some works and the entrance does not give the best feeling.

A great location. A little difficult to get signed in but once connected it was a great place. We had a wheelchair-accessible room. It was a tight fit.

Located near shopping and buses. Easy access to train and city center. The amenities were as listed with bed and bathroom no other seating in small room which worked for us as we were gone all day and went out in the evenings. Clean and had daily housekeeping which was very good.

Currently there is extensive roadwork outside this location. Traffic is diverted which created some confusion in locating the property. Overall very nice property, clean, updated.

We read other people’s reviews and was anxious about check in as other people had problems. We waited 24 hrs before and still no email so we started chasing them at 7 pm the night before. They sent an email saying the were sending the link but they did not send it to my email but to hotels .com an unmanned site they forwarded it to us 1.30 later but it was just a photo and the link did not work but we did get the first and second codes so that was something. The rest of the evening we sent at least three emails so first thing the next day we rang them as I was not leaving until we got the third code . They sent a link to what’s app worked really well we sent photos of passports so check in complete. You need to be on this and not let it go until you get the three codes.
Location was amazing but the picture is opposite the building you are staying in the hostel is on the 6 floor turn right as you come out of lift. They won’t give you the room number until the rooms are cleaned so around about 1.30 pm then you get your third code. Don’t think I would want todo this kind of room again. Madrid is amazing and we had an amazing time.

Took me like 2 hours to check in bc I had no instructions on how to enter room. Room was tiny and hot as hell. Couldn’t control the AC…panel was like from the 60s. Was woken up by noisy cleaning staff. Basically had to tell them to shut up. Never again.

The Room and staff were really nice. The only difficulty that we had is that we didn't realize that it required online check in as it is not a regular hotel. Is within a Building on the 6th floor. But once we called the number on the email received we could find the way in!
The room and view was Excellent!

Spent 2 nights in a lovely Deluxe room. Extremely clean with the most comfortable bed ever. A great view of beautiful buildings opposite. Check in to room was easy (just make sure you check emails/messages) and correspondence was really quick.
Location is fantastic - 10 mins walk to Sol square to the right. 10 mins to the Prado to the left. Literally next to the main entrance is a lovely place for breakfast and 100 montaditos (2doors away) is perfect for cheap cold beers and mini sandwiches.
100% would recommend this property.

This was difficult to locate. (The degree symbol in the address meant floor of building...) but once we found it, it was a great place to stay. Love the convenience of codes and no key. Good location. Noise insulation between rooms isn't strong so if you are a light sleeper, or that would bother you, .. maybe not great but no problem for us.

After a little trouble getting in to the property, it turned out to be a perfect place to stay! It was spotless, comfortable and the location is amazing! Hector responded promptly to our questions--although we never met him.

We got the king room, size was small but perfect for our one night stay. Very clean and we had a great view of the old historic hotel across the street. It’s basic, but price was excellent and next to Barrio de las Letras where there are some excellent, trendy restaurants and shops!

Never got a message about check in, was waiting in front of the door until someone opened it and I saw the number for reception
