Every closet and draw was full. No place to put non refrigerator food away, so kitchen always looked messy. Very little closet space. It was suffocatingly full. It didn’t feel like a beach house.
It’s a beautiful house just not for my family.

Plenty of communication on check in time and offered local suggestions. The home was clean and well equipped. Plenty of beach chairs, spacious backyard with a fire pit we used nightly & a gas grill. Our time was quick but we enjoyed the house.

We had a great time on the cape. Our boys loved the theater room and the host was so quick to respond with any questions. We loved using the bikes and accessing the rail trail. I grew up going to the cape to see my grandparents and loved showing my kids the area. I hope to return again!

Kate’s home was perfect for our stay. The home is conveniently located near the town center making dinners and breakfast out easy. The full kitchen allowed us to comfortably cook meals at home if desired. Plenty of outdoor space and a fire pit. Parking was easy in the driveway. Beds were very comfortable and the house very clean for our stay. Would return in a heartbeat.

We had a great time at this beautiful home! Love all the decor and it wasn’t far from the many activities we had planned!

This house is beautiful, even prettier than pictured. It is so unique and well decorated and has everything you could possibly need inside or outside. The movie theatre in the basement is a total treat! Our little ones and family couldn’t get enough of it. The house is in a great location to drive to smaller local beaches or jump to other towns like Hyannis and Chatham. The neighborhood is very quiet. Most go to Holy Cow ice cream a block away! We would definitely rent from Kate again.

My family truly enjoyed our stay! Everything was clean and ready! Supplies for beach and bikes were available. Even the grill cooked food to perfection. Perfect week!

Thank you so much! The house was perfect for our family. The house had all the amenities we needed for the week! My grandkids loved the movie theater, couldn’t wait to go down every night and pick a new movie to watch! Location was perfect not far to beaches, lake and activities! Had so much fun!

Very charming cottage that is close to a lot of attractions. Clean and well stocked. It was so nice having beach chairs and towels at the house and not having to bring them along. Our only complaint was the downstairs was very cold/damp and the toilet didn’t flush very efficiently. We did try turning the temp up in the house but the upstairs got too warm. We wouldn’t stay again but only because of this. It’s in a great location and very charming.

We had a great experience and the owner was extremely responsive to all our communication.

The first floor was great and had a fully stocked kitchen, and there’s a nice setup to eat breakfast outside, which we did every morning. We also really appreciated having bikes available. The neighborhood is okay, but doesn’t have the charm of other towns we’ve stayed in. There is a cute strip of stores and a great market just a few blocks away. The main problem was the downstairs bedroom setup that had very minimal natural light and was cold and damp and smelled like a litter box. The general clamminess of the room was really unpleasant. I had to buy a scented candle to help with the smell but it didn’t do much. And the plumbing was a little off-putting: when you flush the toilet it gurgles in the shower. I’m sure it’s fine, but I wore my flip flops while showering. The whole bottom half could really use a fresh coat of paint, some dehumidifiers and maybe wall to wall carpeting. The mattresses on all of the beds are soft, which is great if that’s what you prefer. And the coffee maker was temperamental. The regular drip machine tasted terrible and the Keurig had a a spotty performance. We spent 45 minutes getting four adults a decent cup of coffee in the morning. It’s always a great time on the cape so we still had a terrific week, but this choice of house didn’t add to our enjoyment.

Kate's place was a gem of a discovery - can't recommend enough!
My family kids under 10 years + my parents in their 70's had the best time at the house! It was better than the pictures, the kids (and all of us actually), loved the movie theater, and a perfect location.
There was lots of space for both privacy and hanging out together in the kitchen. Also, the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked - it had everything we need to make breakfast lunch and dinner.
Can't wait to come back in the spring and summer! Thank you Kate for an incredible experience.
