The location of the property was in a beautiful rural setting but convenient for motorways, park and ride, and charging points for our EV. This enabled us to drive easily or make use of public transport as the destination demanded. The owners were welcoming and helpful but did not intrude on our holiday. The only disappointment was the noise of aeroplanes in the early morning and the lack of sound insulation between rooms or the adjoining property

Very nice welcome, stylish furniture, quiet surroundings in the country-side. Very spacious living room, kitchen and bath-room. Wonderful yard. Highly recommended!

Nice place , clean and friendly . Just close by neighbors had a party with loud music till very late in the night. Was hoping to have breakfast outside the second morning like we had the first morning but then the owner started taking out a concrete floor which was rather noisy. Probably a bit quieter usually as it is a bit out of town with nice biking paths close t

It is rural, yet close to town. In the middle of pastures, and a chicken visited the front door every morning. Wonderful!

The apartment was spacious with a spa-like feel, and the bathroom HUGE and modern. It was very clean and peaceful, and the kitchen well-equipped for cooking our meals. Great location for day trips to Madurodam, Utrecht, Delft, etc. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and my kids fell in love with their kitten. Highly recommended.

We stayed in apartment 1 for a few nights in July. The accommodation is beautifully presented, comfortable, and looks even better than the pictures. There are 2 large bedrooms on the 1st floor that easily accommodated our family of 5. Also, a lovely, spacious bathroom and a large open dining/living area.
We really enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of a city yet close enough for day trips. The location was also a reason we chose this place as we wanted to be close enough to visit Utrecht and Amsterdam. We used the P&R for both cities, which was a convenient, easy, and inexpensive option.
The trampoline and the kittens were a great hit with the kids. Gerline was very welcoming and helpful. Overall a great experience and I hope to return some day soon. I highly recommend this place!!

We spent almost a week in apartment 1 - a wonderful and very well-equipped apartment.
Our hosts had thought of everything from towels to ample cooking equipment; cutlery; crockery etc - including items suitable for our 3 year old. There was a stair gate too and I found it very child friendly. However, this was child friendly combined with rustic luxury so it felt like a proper grown-up holiday too. No compromises are needed on family holidays here!
The garden was spectacular and much used by us. We stayed during something of a heatwave but we never had difficulty sleeping because of the heat and the house was always cool and refreshing. I couldn't find any faults with this accommodation.
We were also lucky to have amazing neighbours who arrived just after we did. Our children played together (and also with the infamous kittens!!) and we enjoyed catching up with them in the evenings.
The location was excellent - we visited Amsterdam/De Haar castle/Utrecht/Kinderdijk/Efteling and none was over an hour's drive (and many were much shorter - we also used the P&R park and ride for Amsterdam and Utrecht).
I would urge anyone thinking of going to do it!
P.S. Communication with Gerline and Jochem was fast and easy from booking to staying. Thank you, both, for having us to stay. We will definitely return.

Gerline and Jochem were charming and made us feel at home. Beautiful countryside around their farm. The apartment is beautifully decorated, simply and well-furnished and provides a wonderful base from where to explore the surrounding area. When we requested whether they could purchase a few food items, as we were arriving late, they were most kind and did so and we reimbursed them. In my view, this is suited to 4 people wishing to stay in comfort near to Utrecht, a wonderful city and I recommend the apartment.

Beautiful little duplex that is attached to the backside of a stable on a family farm. The inside is just as pictured, there was even more room than I had expected. Gerline and her husband, Joachim, were so friendly and there were even some delicious welcome cookies that Gerline had baked for us :-)
The villa was easy to find and the parking was spacious. Grocery stores within easy access and the drive into Amsterdam (using the Arena P+R) was very easy and convenient. The farm was so fun for my kids and they had to go check out the animals every day :-) The trampoline was a big hit too! We could have just stayed at the farm our entire vacation and my kids would have been happy, lol I've already recommended this place to two friends and will be sure to try and stay here again if we come back. Thank you again!

I had specifically chosen the Utrecht-area for our travel base because of its centralized location. Not only was Neder-Oudland perfectly situate us in the middle of the country (40 min to Rotterdam, 45 min to The Hague, 40 min to Schiphol/AMS, 45 min to downtown Amsterdam), but it was in the middle of a beautiful area of Dutch countryside. You're set on a working farm in a BEAUTIFULLY renovated building that was once part of the barn. By European standards, the bathroom is massive (I have had bathrooms in Europe smaller than their shower!). We were THRILLED with the quality of the beds (we have stayed at VRBO/HomeAway properties in Germany, France, the Netherlands, the UK, Hawaii, and New Zealand and these were by far the best beds we have experienced!). If you have small children, you will be happy to know that the owners have built a child-gate at the top of the stairs so you don't have to worry about the kids going down if you don't want them to. Also, each bedroom as its own sink in it and the toilet is in a separate room from the massive tub and huge shower, so multiple people preparing for bed or the day is quite easy! You will love being surrounded by the animals but for TRUTH-IN-ADVERTISING, remember that this is a farm area, so it will not smell like a rose garden. The VERY good part about this, though is that within about ten minutes of your arrival, you truly don't even notice it! I cannot endorse this property enough - it was a beautiful location, with a stunning renovated property, with incredibly comfortable beds, near a lovely small town that could not be more hospitable to visitors. Thanks for the great experience!

What a find, owners lovely, helpful. It was larger than we imagined from the photos, chic design and lots of little extras that make a difference. Loads of towels, bath robe, shower gels and body lotions, tea and coffee and a round slab of cheese waiting for us made from a nearby farm. Great location we explored all over Holland from here. Peaceful nights sleep in really comfy beds, this accommodation exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended to anyone who will listen. Thankyou for a wonderful stay in your beautiful country.

The rental is in a very well updated farm building next to the farm house. My wife grew up on a farm in the US, so she loved visiting an active Dutch farm. We loved the country air and being away from the city. However, the floors upstairs are creaky, the downstairs echos, and you can hear cows mooing in the morning; so if you're sensitive to noise, this may not be the best place to stay. We loved it though
