Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Lovely pools. Great views. Huge beds which were really comfortable. Room cleaning was really well done.
So much building work going on. No in hotel evening dining. The restaurant is only open on Saturday evenings. You gave to go to the other restaurants around the resort, two of which are very expensive.
I do not like all the mini bottles in the bathroom. This is not environmentally friendly.
St Julian’s bay is far too busy. No other beach.

Breakfast was pretty good, but the eggs did not have much flavor. The room was very nice and definitely a highlight. There were multiple pool options, which were good.
It was a bit too expensive for the overall quality of the hotel and service level. I would have expected more based on what we paid for the room. But we had a nice time anyways.

All the staff who were both very friendly and very helpful.
The hotel is situated within a major building site redevelopment with giant cranes sited immediately opposite the hotel (I counted 8 cranes) and is apparently likely to be so for at least a further 2 years until the building work of a new hotel and complex is complete. Also the road network outside the property is currently under reconstruction with pathways difficult to navigate. This should be made absolutely clear to any potential customers as it can severely affect their enjoyment. The hotel itself is also in urgent need of an upgrade, particularly to the rooms. Lighting around the interior of the hotel could also be improved (eg: I counted at least 14 ceiling lights in the public lounge either broken or not working and some corridors with no active lighting.

The hotel look big and fancy from outside, you book and you think it will be a great experience BUT IT IS NOT.
Its very old from inside, the room is very old , even the electricity fusion are old , the bathroom looks like 80s’ leaks weather , and we told them about this to fix it and they didn’t, after a good experience with hotel around the world , its not hotel that deserves 5 stars , there are hotel in Mallta 5 stars much better than him.
The only thing we like in this hotel is breakfast and the pools! Which is the reason I give them7/10.

Hotel elegante, colazione varia e abbondante (con opzioni senza glutine a richiesta), posizione perfetta, piscine grandi, spa in parte inclusa, diversi ristoranti di qualità per ogni gusto, camera spaziosa con vista mare.
Hotel con stile datato, piscine troppo profonde con altezza non adeguatamente segnalata e con scarsa vigilanza delle regole da parte dello staff, nessun ristorante incluso nel prezzo, scarsa vigilanza globale in quanto gli accessi rimanevano aperti durante la notte, anche il parcheggio non è vigilato (abbiamo assisitito ad un borseggio abbastanza violento durante la notte nel parcheggio)

Very good location. A short walk to St. George’s Bay beach and Town.
Rooms large, comfortable and clean with plenty of pools, sun loungers etc. Bars and restaurants around the property. Other bars within a very short walk or in the Town.
Step access straight in to the Sea at the bottom of the grounds.
Staff throughout very friendly and helpful.

Die Lage des Hotel war für uns sehr gut. Man ist schnell in Valleta und Umgebung.
Sehr hervorheben, möchte ich auch das Frühstücksbuffet. Alles verfügbar, auch für Veganer
Wir kamen am Samstagabend im Hotel an und haben uns dann am Samstagabendbuffet je eine kleine Portion zu Essen gewählt. Leider mussten wir dann zu unserem Erstaunen den vollen Betrag für das volle Buffet bezahlen. Hier war leider kein entgegenkommen des Hotels(5Sterne) vorhanden.

The property was beautiful, and very clean! We especially liked how the pools were on different levels and were able to get to the sea via the steps. There were also sun loungers next to the sea. The staff were incredible too, there was nothing they wouldn’t do for you and every single person had a smile and the time of day for us.
We liked everything! It would be nice to have some entertainment on an evening, but it was lovely even without it. We will definitely come back again with our kids next time.

Cleaners didn’t clean the room properly, left half empty coffee cups on the table, used wine glasses
Bed was really uncomfortable me and my partner both have come home with bad backs, the staff at reception (not all staff) we asked for some water to be sent to the room and her response was Il see what I can do. Left us 2 small bottles of water and charged us including a fee to drop them off.

Hotel ist gut gelegen am Rand von St. Georgs Bay. Großes Angebot an Speisen und Restaurants. Der Zimmerservice und die servierten Speisen waren sehr gut. Frühstücksbuffett war auch sehr gut mit reichlich Auswahl.
Das Zimmer war schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Auf der Terasse lag Müll zwischen den Balkonen. Im Main Restaurant war beim Frühstück immer noch der Büfetttisch vom Vorabend mit verdreckter Tischdecke direkt am Eingang zum Frühstücksraum. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt aus meiner Sicht nicht mehr in Bezug auf Zimmerausstattung und Zustand des Zimmers.

Nice quality hotel, well located and full of available additional facilities. Room (2nd) located not from the street side was very good. Breakfasts were fine, with nice choice of options. Nice personnel, willing to help.
Initially got a room with a street view, which was just in front of construction side. The works there were extremally noisy, starting around 7 am till late afternoon. Even if was most of the day at the conference, after return was impossible to think or relax. After change of the room for other side of the hotel was OK.

Lots of different pools indoor and outdoor
Staff were rude and disrespectful to my wife speaking to a male customer in response to her questions simply who was standing 2 feet away simply because she was a female. Staff in the restaurant and reception wouldn’t help us get plates for our room. The plug in the bathroom didn’t work and it wouldn’t drain. Toilets next to the pool were filled with furniture and trash. Sunbeds were not placed out by the pool and we had to carry them ourselves, even though this was allegedly a 5 star hotel.

This is our 3rd time at this hotel and it seems to get better everytime, we went for a weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday and the fact the hotel staff went out of their way to celebrate my wife was truly amazing, from meeting Rolando at reception with his bubbly approach, to all the gifts coming to our room to make sure it was a birthday not to be forgotten, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, will definitely be going back again.
Weekend went too fast.

Excellent breakfast. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a spacious suite which was lovely.
Room cleaning. Cleaner took a long time to get to our room and was there at about the time we returned from our morning outing and wanted an afternoon rest.

Location - right on the shore, overlooking the bay and with amazing view. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Food in the hotel is excellent, and several adjacent restaurants offer wide variety of choices for everyone. Staff was very nice and helpfull

The staff, absolutely everyone, was very kind and always helpful, as it is customary in 5* hotels. The breakfast was very nice and I appreciated the possibility to press your own fresh carrot juice ! The executive lounge with snacks and drinks was a nice touch.
The building is very run down and the amenities aren’t quite 5* worthy. The shower was clogged and the wind blew through the room, so it was a challenge to keep it warm in February.
