About this house rental

This spectacular vacation rental estate features a large, 4 bed 4 bath main house with a 1 bed 1 bath GUEST house - all included with each rental. To top it off - the guest house ALSO has a full kitchen! With gulf views from the balcony, when you stay in Xanadu, you're just steps from the beach. And of course, if you want to take a break from the sand (yeah right!), you can relax by your private pool.

An aquamarine Gulf of Mexico sparkles with crystals of sunlight. Dolphins breach along the horizon. Relax in an Adirondack chair, or on the balcony porch swing, and sip coffee or fresh-squeezed citrus juice, as a salt breeze rustles palms and windswept live oak trees. Fragrance of lemon blossom wafts from the backyard citrus grove.

The open, airy, and beachy-style living room has pale blue walls with a leather sofa, loveseat, and ottoman the color of sand dunes, small coffee tables, and lamps, all nicely arranged around a wall-mounted Smart TV and entertainment center.

The contemporary kitchen has custom-built, fine wood cabinetry, granite countertops, and state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances including a glass-top stove, oven, microwave, french door fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, and double-basin sink.
There’s a large, granite kitchen island featuring a breakfast bar with stool seating for three. The chef is never isolated from the social scene. There’s also a wet bar area with a wine rack, and mini-fridge.

The spacious in-law suite has its own full kitchen/dining & living area. Every bedroom has a full ensuite bathroom. The main house primary has a King size bed, and ensuite bath with double-sink granite vanity, custom tiled, walk-in glass shower, and a soaking tub.

Second-floor balconies on the main house and in-law suite offer gorgeous water views. Both balconies have Adirondack chairs. The main house balcony has a cushioned porch swing. Enjoy vibrant Gulf of Mexico sunsets that paint the sky with hues of gold, crimson, and violet.

This slice of paradise also offers a fully fenced gunite pool and beautiful patio area with plenty of lounge chairs. There’s a covered patio with alfresco dining and BBQ grill. The massive backyard has a grassy yard where the kids can play. There’s a grove of citrus and fruit trees, and a shady, garden sitting area below beautiful, windswept live oak trees.

The home is just a 5 min stroll from beach access #87, in the Hollywood Beach subdivision of Panama City Beach. This is a safe, pedestrian and bike-friendly neighborhood. Our family of 13 enjoyed our stay. We all had comfortable accommodations and enjoyed our view. The neighborhood was quiet and only a short stroll to the beach. Hope to stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this home for a week for Spring Break and had a blast. We had two adult couples in the main house and three teens in the mother in law apartment. The teens loved having their own space as did the adults. The beach is about 200 yards away and it is a super easy stroll to get here. The house was clean and had everything we expected. The dollar general store around the corner had everything we needed from spices to aluminum foil to grill our fish we caught fishing in the Gulf. We really enjoyed it and I would highly recommend.

This property is pretty big, and nice. It is super close to the beach too. I liked the porch swing. Management responds super quick and got us everything we needed. Overall it was a cute place.

I was very pleased with the Beach house. From the moment we pulled in the driveway to the moment we opened the front door. It was nice and clean in every room even outside around the pool area. The extra house was also very nice for my husband and I to have our own privacy. Book it!!

We loved this house so much! Perfect for our family! Not too far from the beach at all even with 3 little kids/baby. We enjoyed the pool, spacious rooms, and grilling on the back patio. Plenty of room for everyone!

The property is beautiful and located very close to the beach, just a short block to the public beach access point.The location is west of the busy parts of PCB, which was great - very quiet and the beach was not too crowded. Great place for those who want to relax.Having the private pool was wonderful, especially as there were storms and a 2 red flag day during our stay. We could still use the pool to relax.Overall, this property was a great fit for a family that had a lot of adults on the trip. Real beds - 4 in the house and 1 in the Guest House (not bunk beds designed for kids). Lots of bathrooms too.Blue Swell provided excellent communication - starting with reminders leading up to our visit and even sending updates during our drive down. They dealt with all service issues in a timely manner. They informed us that the pool was cloudy due to storms but safe for swimming - the pool service came before we arrived and visited several more times - it was sparkling in a short time. We had to contact Blue Swell twice for service and they dealt with both within a few hours - the grill was out of gas and they sent a new tank and the AC went out during a bad thunderstorm - Blue Swell had the AC service company out while we were out and it was fixed by the time we got back.Overall, the property was clean. The only thing below par was the grill, which was dirty and low on gas.We did drive to a few attractions when beach was not possible - visited Ripley's Believe it or Not and went to indoor mini golf, fun for the family. We also went out to eat a few times. Pineapple Willie's was a lot of fun and the food and drinks were good. Lobster Rolls at Pier Park were pretty awesome.

We had a great stay! Location was fantastic, beach is a 2 minute walk. House was beautiful (could have been cleaned a tad better). Pool was awesome. My only negativeness is with the rental company Blue Swell. They were hard to deal with and didn’t have the best communication. We stayed at this property last year with different owners (I’m assuming) and had much better communication. The house looks like they sold it, took out a few of the belongings, and didn’t pair or patch the holes from frames they took down. Giving it more of a rental property feel vs home.

Very nice home! It was very clean, close to everything, the beds are super comfortable, and the upstairs bedroom had the most amazing shower. The view of the beach is great and it’s only a short walk away!
