Roberta was super nice, I can't say enough good things about her!! She treats you like her own family, such a sweet lady!! I wish we could become BFF lol The house is great, the outdoor space is spectacular!! I would love to go back again!!

My wife & I truly enjoyed our 5 days on Roberta's estate; a unique compound built on what once was a tiered olive grove. The late April weather was nice, but, unfortunately, not warm enough to avail ourselves to the beautiful pool. Our hostess, who lives on the property with her husband, grown son and 2 large dogs, was very gracious and helpful in suggesting local activities and dining options. The views are incredible, but you can look down at the Capri ferry boats best on the lower tiers by the fire pit or pool, where they are not obstructed by the olive trees. Our unit was extremely clean, with a firm comfortable bed, and a well outfitted gally kitchen. (The property description says there is an over, but this is incorrect.) There is a small market down the hill, about 300 yards, that provides a good selection of dry goods ( no fresh meat or dairy), sandwiches and cold drinks. This is also where the local bus stops. Because we were planning to explore the countryside during our stay, we rented a car and drove from the Rome airport. I soon learned that I had not appreciated the steep topography of the area. After leaving Naples, the roads become narrow and serpentine...and eventually steep. The steep road in front of the house is essentially one lane, with very limited parking due to the many gates and doors that can't be blocked. The property description says there is on-site parking, but this is incorrect: the best place I found that was wide enough to not risk being side-swiped by another car was about 300 yards further up the hill. The HILL! This property really has amazing views, and is an incredible place to kick your shoes off & walk barefoot in the grass and drink limoncello in the shade..but getting to and from it can be a challenge. The walk from the bus stop required us to stop to let our 60 year-old hearts and lungs catch up. Other reviews mention walking into town as a "challenging" option, but I would never be a pedestrian on that narrow, curvy road with no sidewalk or even a shoulder. Mixing it up with large tour buses, trucks, cars, bicycles, and scooters, for about 3 km, where you cannot step off the road because of guardrails or walls seemed somewhat suicidal. (Yet, we saw it being done) Bus tickets can be pre-purchased at the small market, or on the bus from the driver for a couple of €s. Our taxi ride back from the marina was about €25. Overall, a beautiful place, to veg out away from crowds.

What a gorgeous property. The photos do not do it justice. Despite the rain that followed us to Sorrento we had an amazing time at this villa in the hills of Sorrento. Roberta was so kind and accommodating to us the entire time we were here, including getting us out of a pickle with transfers to the airport for the next leg of our trip. We loved walking the grounds, saying hi to the pets on the property, and snuggling up in our cosy guest house. The bus is a short walk from the property so it was no problem to get into town. Don't hesitate to book this rental!

This property is truly amazing. The reality is even better than the pictures, which I have not experienced at most other rental properties. The pool and other grounds are really amazing, and the pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures. The kitchen in the unit is well appointed, great beds and bathrooms. We had no issues with our entire family, including kids 4 and 7 years old. The hosta were fantastic, and even ordered pizza delivery for us one night. There is a great mini market at the bottom of via pantano, which is less than a 5-minute walk. The villa is up a steep, narrow road, so walking up from the main road was a great calf workout! My only complaint is we had some long days of tours, and I wish we spent more time at the property by the pool.

An amazing house with everything you need to enjoy your stay and Sorrento. The hosts are so nice and welcoming, you feel at home!

We (Family with one kid, 8) rented Casa del Capo 2 for 10 days. The flat is big enough for families with one or two kids, super-clean, beautiful furnished and well equipped. The terrace and garden is a little paradise. View over gulf of Naples, olive and lemon trees, simply great! And the greatest: The pool! Most beautiful pool, I have ever been in! Super-clean, wonderful view! Normally I am not so into swimming, but I didn't like to leave this pool anymore! Roberta is super nice and asks everytime if you need help or advice. Thank you, Roberta! There are housekeepers / gardeners on the area regularly and they make sure everything stays perfect! Very nice! You better have a (rental) car, when staying there. Otherwise you have to walk a lot uphill / downhill. Parking space close to the area is no problem. Summary: This is not a cheap holiday flat, no question. I found it worth every Euro. It is a little paradise! Absolute recommendation!

The pictures can’t capture the beauty of this property! It’s absolutely magnificent, with flowering grounds, so many places to sit and take in the view, the saltwater pool overlooking the ocean, the HUGE outdoor kitchen and dining area - plus Roberta is an absolute joy, with wonderful recommendations. We’ll be back for a month next time!

Just an amazing experience! The apartment was clean, updated and lovely with a wonderful private outdoor patio. The smell of lemon blossoms filled the air. The grounds and property including the vanishing edge pool were awesome. Spectacular views of the coast and the island of Ischia. Communication on arrival and tips for restaurants and activities by Mario and Roberta, the owners, were spot on. We loved Sorrento and it was the perfect base for exploring the Campania and Amalfi coast area. There was even a little beachside village and a spectacular grotto and Roman ruins we were able to walk to from the apt. Getting to and from the property which is a few minutes out of town by bus was easy, inexpensive and convenient once we got the hang of it. As other visitors have mentioned the short walk up from the bus-stop is a bit steep but not onerous. Highly recommend, one of the highlights of our trip.

We were very happy with the flat; it had all we needed, in particular it was very quiet and privacy was perfect. Roberta, the landlady, is the most wonderful advisor for all sorts of trips and helps with all wishes. She even arranged a unique, private boat trip and a table at a two star restaurant on quite short notice. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We spent the last week of our trip to Southern Italy in this beautiful place overlooking the Bay of Naples. The property (apartment and grounds)is immaculate and the view is breath taking. The posted photos are completely accurate. The owner, Roberta, her spouse and grown children live in the main part of the house but respectful of their guests privacy. She is incredibly welcoming, charming and helpful answering questions about the area. The property is not in downtown Sorrento which has both pros and cons. It takes a little more effort to get into the city but the quiet and tranquility far outweighed this minor inconvenience for us. We had a rental car for part of our time and had parking close by. The remainder we would use the public bus (a 5 minute walk down the hill; comes every 20 minutes). Note the walk back uphill is a bit steep.

Dear Roberta, a wonderfully idyllic place, full of tranquility with an endless view of the Bay of Naples. Time for relaxation and the feeling of freedom!

This property exceeds any and all expectations. Location is ideal for travel anywhere on the coast. Hospitality is great. Can't say enough positive about our stay which was for 13 days. You will be glad, as we were, that you chose this property for your stay.

We loved our stay in Sorrento. Beautiful apartment, amazing views, lovely pool. Convenient local transport. Lots of walks on the peninsula and easy to get to Amalfi Coast. Definitely would recommend this apartment, Roberta is lovely and very helpful

If you want a peaceful, quiet & away from the hustle bustle of city center then look no further. The property is gorgeous with the breath taking views, tree-lined olive trees, stone path walk-way & lush lawn with pool to enjoy & relax. Bus stop down the street to go into town. . Beach @ bottom of hill had a restaurant where there's lawn chairs to enjoy the sun, go for swim & have cocktails was a treat. We hired a private driver for day trip to Ravello & Amalfi. Took ferry to Positano one day & train to Pompeii on another day. What an experience & cant wait to return. Roberta & Mario were wonderful hosts!!!

I really cannot say enough about my stay at this property. I am already looking at my calendar trying to figure out when I can return! Everything is perfect here, the setting, the location, the apartment, the dogs. Both Mario and Roberta were so helpful and accommodating with everything we needed. The apartment was spotless and comfortable. 2 bathrooms, comfortable bed, fridge, dining area, outdoor furniture etc. The best part of all this is the grounds. It really has everything you need and more to make an unforgettable stay - lemon trees, cherry trees, amazing pool, sun loungers, BBQ area, dogs, chickens! The view is also breathtaking and yes that means it's a walk away from Sorrento town but it's more than worth it and there are plenty of buses (or do as we did and rent a scooter). There are also a few spots close by where you can eat and drink. Casa de Capo is a peaceful and unique paradise unlike any other that you will never want to leave. I will definitely be back!

This is a beautifully presented property in an idyllic location within walking distance to shops bars and restaurants. Fabulous hosts.

Super super accommodation, in a fabulous location. Mario and Roberta where fantastic and looked after us very well. Sorrento is around 25mins walk which we did most evenings - although the little restaurant at the bottom of the hill is rather nice if you can't be bothered. A home from home - I'm sure we'll be back.

A perfect spot for anyone who wants to be close to it all, but still have peace and quiet in an absolutely gorgeous location. We stayed in Capo 2, which is a private self contained apartment set within a Villa, surrounded by a lovely garden with beautiful sea views from high above the cliffs. Can't say enough about the location, the very stylish deco of the interior as well as the exterior space, and the meticulously maintained garden, terraces and pool. Roberta was the perfect host, providing us with much appreciated guidance and tips for off the beaten track excursions in the area etc. If you enjoy privacy and space (the property has a living room, a kitchen, a master bedroom with a dressing room, and 2 full bathrooms), then this is for you. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends, and would happily go back! Please note that we had a rental car, but it's possible to use public transport to get to Sorrento and the neighboring area. A small food store is located very close to the property, and you can walk to a couple of local restaurants.

Casa del Capo is a very nice place to stay with a wonderful view. Everything was very nice, and Roberta the owner was really friendly and does everything to help you having the best stay. It was not 5 star because the travel agency forgot to tell us that the swimming pool was empty, and it would have been so nice to have it for the the children. The beaches around there are not very good.

The immaculate decor, tranquil surroundings with an infinity pool over-looking stunning views of the Bay were enhanced by the generous hospitality of our wonderful hosts Mario and Roberta! All this but a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. A truly memorable holiday!

My husband & I spent a wonderful week in this lovely house in Sorrento. The apartment was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed including a Nespresso machine. The property was gorgeous. We really loved the swimming pool with it's stunning views of the Bay of Naples. We had a car but it wasn't necessary as it was close to a bus that ran frequently and took you into downtown Sorrento. The charming owner gave us restaurant recommendations which we tried and were very happy with. We took ferries to Capri and Amalfi from the port in Sorrento and also went to Pompii from the house. All in all a perfect week and I can't wait to go back.
