We visited the area for a wedding and were blown away by the host's lovely cottage! The property was clean and spacious and had ample parking. The host was incredibly sweet and communicative and even gave us a jar of their own honey. We highly recommend this home away from home!

Jenn & Jason were welcoming and accommodating. Made sure we had anything needed. Excellent Wifi. Thank you guys so much for that delicious local honey! Our favorite room was the back sunroom which felt like we were sitting in a treehouse --- Beautiful view of trees, garden flowers, and fun chicken antics (awesome chicken coop)! Access to the river and the kayaks were a huge plus. Nearby Lexington is a great town with a lot of history. Enjoyed our visit to the Natural Bridge, too. Overall, a great stay. Many thanks again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet, country home. The house is charming and feels like home. The decor includes antiques, the beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. The owners are right next door, they're very friendly and welcoming. Fishing is great on the peaceful Maury river. We would highly recommend this place for a quiet get-away.

The property is very nice and perfect for our needs.

Jason and Jennifer are the perfect hosts! The house was well appointed and cozy. The outdoor areas, including the river access, lawn area and deck, really contributed to the "home away from home" vibe. When Jason suggests that you "bring food", trust his judgement. The home is situated in beautiful countryside and the grocery store is not around the corner, but an easy drive. We could not have asked for a better experience. These are great people with a heart for hospitality. Thanks to you both for your kindness and patience with our endless questions regarding the area. We hope to return.

Perfect home nestled in Rockbridge County on the Maury. We loved our stay as our friends tied the knot just down the road.

We loved our stay in Rockbridge Baths. The home is decorated in old antiques, like stepping back in time. It's very comfortable and spacious with a beautiful backyard and access to the Maury River. We enjoyed kayaking and bird watching on the river. The hosts were right next store and very accommodating to our needs.

The house was wonderful. It was just as advertised. The property was beautiful. We had an enjoyable time kayaking on the river, fishing, splashing in the river, and relaxing on the deck. The views of the mountains were great. We cooked quick meals and had everything we needed on hand (Utensils/Cookware). Thank you Jason and Jen for being such great hosts. We will definitely be coming back.

This was a perfect place for my family to stay for my son’s graduation. The house was clean and comfortable and the property is gorgeous. Jason and Jennifer were great hosts!

Our trips purpose was to have some beds to sleep in while in town for graduation. Due to our first home (in town) being cancelled on us by the host due to the city of Lexington not allowing short term rentals, we were forced to find another. Which turned out to be a blessing. Originally my thought was be in town, and be close to everything. This isn’t a bad plan however once we found this home our plans changed. We was able to to have my daughters and our small family out for cake and a charcuterie celebration. They had so much fun after graduation playing board games (provided by the host) that they all came back the next day and kayaked. We played more games and was really able to just enjoy each other and the BEAUTIFUL backyard. If you have an iPhone there is a WiFi so you are still connected to the world if you want, television to watch your Netflix etc. Plenty of board games, jenga etc. My fam decided they wanted to add two decks of playing cards so we left the ones we bought at wm for the family that came. My granddaughter adored the small rocking chair. I really just can’t say enough nice things about the property. I was stoked as soon as I saw it in person. The donkeys across the street let us pet them. The only thing I originally perceived as a negative was being 20-30 min from town but this truly turns out to be a blessing for us. You are not in the city, you will have all things country. Enjoy it.

Great choice. The only inconvenience was the inability to use cell phone. Must have an I-phone.

Was such a cozy little house with lots of history! The yard was beautiful which led down to the river. It was very quiet with beautiful mountains surrounding it.

The location of this property was perfect. A short <20 minute drive to Lexington and nearby Natural Bridge. We stayed 2 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace of the river when fishing or kayaking and just being able to “pause” from the day-to-day hustle and bustle of the world. I enjoyed sitting out front each morning with my coffee while watching the donkeys and pig across the road 😁 This property was clean, well stocked with anything you could ever imagine, plus more, and the owners are super friendly. This place is a MUST if you are looking for a perfect getaway! We will be back!

Amazing property, quaint house, great hosts. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This lovely house outside of Lexington, VA is wonderfully quiet. The owners totally have embraced the 1970s, so if like me you grew up then, the place really brings back memories. All the facilities that you would need, access to the river, and farmland all the way around. Just remember, it is eleven very curvy miles to get to town, so plan ahead your trip.s. Will most likely stay there again.

We booked a stay here because of the great proximity to VMI! We keep coming back because it is a little piece of Heaven on Earth.
We have fallen in love with owners as well. They are humble and kind. Cannot wait to come back in November!

Beautiful location on the Maury River and very clean house. Hosts are very accommodating and even provided honey from their own hives and soap made from that honey.

Nice and relaxing to stay close to the river while we were in town for my son’s wedding. We even managed to do a little kayaking!! Honey and homemade soaps were a nice touch! I was very appreciative of Jason (the owner) getting in touch with me personally. Thank you!

This place is superb for relaxation and peace and quiet. It is as advertised and the kitchen is really well furnished. It was really clean and we have stayed in a lot of VRBO homes and this surpassed many of those. The hosts are super helpful and nice. We had a very enjoyable stay and would rate everything as a 10! On a three-week road trip with my childhood friend, Rockbridge Baths was the perfect location for several days' stay. The house was cute and comfortable with wonderful and picturesque views. The host was very friendly and accessible if we needed anything. Should I find myself in that part of the country again, I would choose to stay here.

This was the perfect location for a family gathering. My family & I were in the area for a wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. The host's went out of their way to make the whole family feel welcome, even allowing my 2 & 3 y/o grandsons to help feed the chickens. Everything we needed or wanted was already on site. We enjoyed smores by the fire pit at night & fishing/kayaking on the river by day. Amazing stay with amazing hosts. Secluded location. We did not have cell service while on site but Wifi access was a breeze so that helped. Highly recommend this great stay!!! Thanks Jason & Jen!

We had a great stay with my parents, spouse and 2 kids. We enjoyed the kayaks and swimming in the river and took the bikes on a spin! The area is beautiful and there are lots of farms and green rolling pastures and fields. The fishing rods were an awesome bonus and the kids had fun trying to catch fish in the river. The house was immaculately maintained and so charming. We hiked the Chambers Ridge Trail one morning too and went to RoadMap Coffee Works (15 minutes). The owners were great hosts, we enjoyed the honey!

We enjoyed our stay 100% It’s not the fanciest or most up to date place ever so if that’s what you’re looking for this isn’t it. But for the same price or cheaper than a hotel room you get an entire house in a quiet area, full kitchen two baths, lots of puzzles and board games. The owners provide bicycles, kayaks and fishing gear witch was awesome even if you have it at home you don’t have to lug it with you. The river is nice and there’s chairs and a picnic table down there so you can relax. The owners live next door and are very accommodating if you need anything.

What an awesome quaint nostalgic place in a beautiful area. Absolutely gorgeous property with river access kayaks fishinhg poles etc. Nice burn pit ,back porch to relax and enjoy the scenery. Jason is a cordial and friendly Owner/host. Very affordable about 10-12 minutes to Lexington and 25-30 to Buena Vista our 2 sons attend SVU. Already have the place booked again. Neat record player stereo in house with 45s/78 s .
