L'emplacement

Le 3è étage était en travaux. Il y avait des outils et une bâche devant les ascenseurs.
Travaux sur les ascenceurs de 9h à 20h. Très très bruyant. Franchement inacceptable.

Location, good value for money.
A bit annoying I couldn’t leave the key at the front desk when I went out on my bike- was a bit clunky in back pocket and was nervous about it falling out.

Clean tidy apartment.
Noisy people passing on the back street every night at all hours.

It had a good location. The apartment had a good view of the mountains as well.
I rented this place only for what I needed that was the Tour de France. Other than that I cannot recommend someone else to stay here for the comfort. This is a place where, evidently, a lot of young people crash at night after doing their outdoor abilities. It is not beautiful, or comfortable for that matter. It is only practical. They asked me for a big deposit in case I destroy something. That was a hint of what was to come.

Lovely sunshine, good views , convenient location Apart from a hike to a ski lift. !
No extraction fan in kitchen bathroom one didn't work ! Very basic apartment, no shelves no hooks very little space / draws for clothes, very dated.

the 8 person apartment was quite spacious( best for 6 as plus 2 is sofa in living room) with a nice view from The balconies.
the main table was spacious.
-a bar/night club is just below the residence, so ok if you are not bother by noise/bass vibration at night.
- location is central, but quite far from ski departure, so need to walk 5 min to take free téléphérique to join ski departure.
-we asked to change the large bed bedsheets (as they were dirty)
-only 1 toilet paper roll .. for 8… better be equipped :)

The checkin was simple: pick up the keys in a safe. No hassle. Everything was laid out in the room (towels, bedsheets), with a small 'cleaning' pouch with the basics to wash dishes and clean a table top.
Checkout was simple too: just drop the keys in a letterbox after tidying the apartment / studio.
The frontdoors are open to the general public 24/7 and due to lack of a reception & staff, anybody can walk into the building and an to the floors where you stay. There's no security code to enter the building. I find that odd.
My room was on the floor where you enter (=reception level), which is officially the 4th floor. The hallway to the room smelled really strongly. Upon entry in the room, you have the feeling the door handle could fall off anytime.
Space: In the room, I found it hard to believe that a family of 4 or 5 could stay there happily for a week without filing for divorce or getting therapy. There's one double bed and two sofa beds, that when you unfold them take up the entire living 'room' space. I was alone, so I didn't need to unfold them, yet I still thought it was a bit cramped. The small terrace allowed you to escape the cramped feeling, with a nice view of the mountains.
Quality finishing: well, let's say not a lot happened since they built it in the 60's. Except for replacing some kitchen appliances and new bathroom tiles. But the rest.... and there was a dusty smell in the room, but less strong than in the corridor.
The only photo which was in line with what I found in my apartment was the bathroom. The other photos are not at all in line with what I saw and give a far more positive picture of what you think you'll get than what you'll encounter in reality.
