The living areas in the property consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with range cooker with electric double oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a dishwasher, a dining area with breakfast bar for three and a sitting area with woodburning stove, a dining room with seating for eight guests and a sitting room with Smart TV and gas fire. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with TV, a second-floor king-size with TV and sofa, a double and a second-floor twin, along with a shower room and a cloakroom. Outside there is a gravelled patio with furniture and roadside parking is available. Within 0.2 miles you will find both a shop and a river and within 0.3 miles, a pub and please note that dogs are allowed but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Blencathra is a fabulous holiday home, perfect for a family or group of friends to enjoy a peaceful escape in Cumbria. The stunning Newlands Valley is nearby, situated between Braithwaite and Buttermere, and the charming Bassenthwaite Lake is definitely worth a visit. Everything from a leisurely stroll through the countryside to a strenuous walk up Skiddaw or the renowned Catbells is available. Visit the Jennings Brewery, Mirehouse, a magnificent home and gardens on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake, or go on a wonderful boat tour of Derwentwater. Any time of year, this is a terrific Lakeland visit because to the abundance of family-friendly attractions, beautiful parks, and the neighbouring Lake District Wildlife Park.
