Midden in het gezellige centrum van Bamberg.

Een geweldige locatie midden in het centrum van het heerlijke stadje Bamberg. Parkeren kun je bij het hotel in een prive parkeergarage top. Al met al voor herhaling vatbaar.

De bedden zouden iets beter kunnen en de kussens.

Ist eine Reise wert.

Bamberg hat uns gut gefallen. Ein Besuch loht sich. Eine schöne Stadt - Altbauden ,Fachwerks Häuser, Musen und Kirchen.

Zimmer lag über einen Biergarten.

Muy buena opción

Muy buena ubicación, en el centro histórico de Bamberg. Si se llega a Bamberg en tren, es mejor tomar el bus 901 en la estación, que deja muy cerca del hotel (está a unos 2 km si se va caminando). Es una construcción con encanto, típica de la zona. Mi habitación (101) era sencilla pero amplia y luminosa. Daba a una calle secundaria, no al frente. A veces había un poco de ruido de una cervecería que se encuentra a unos 20 mts. pero nada grave. Muy buen desayuno. Personal de recepción y de limpieza muy amable.

Hay que tener en cuenta que de 12 a 15 hs no es posible hacer el check in (lo avisan en la página web y también al confirmar la reserva)

Located in center of old town minutes from city central parking. Minutes walk from all glorious attractions. Beautiful city; fun, clean and spacious hotel (plentiful breakfast). Would stay again without question.

The hotel is situated in the center of the town. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, large bathroom and sleeping room. We shall always try to get a room there when coming back to Bamberg.

It was a bit difficult that the reception is closed from 12 to 15. But the restaurant is open and serves good regional meals.

We plan to come back next year at the same time.

The room was nice and the bathroom was very spacious. The location is great, a lot of good restaurants around and we were not disturbed by people in the street. The breakfast was very good.

The location was perfect - very close to all the sites, restaurants, cafes, and breweries. Breakfast was very generous, and the restaurant food and service were excellent. The room was very comfortable, clean, and attractive.

Nice hotel, friendly staff with good breakfast, close to everything in the old town.

Nice hotel, friendly staff with good breakfast. It's right in the heart of the village literally opposite Schlenkerla that does the Rauchbier. The hotel bar/restaurant also does Rauchbier where everybody is outside on the street enjoying a beer. There are plenty of eating and drinking options nearby. NB - If you are coming to Bamberg by train, it is a 20-25 minute walk to the old town and hotel from the station.

A little street noise, but you are in the thick of the village.

Very friendly helpful staff at breakfast, good selection of breakfast food. Helpful reception staff on arrival (especially as I was a few minutes late).

A little noisy with window open (but it was central so to be expected).

The staff was polite but not nice. The breakfast is poor, but the big problem is with the parking lot. If you have a larger car (I have an E Class Mercedes Benz) you cannot use the hotel parking lot and you have to leave your car at a public parking lot not very close to the hotel, quite inconvenient if you have luggage larger than a small carrion.

Definitely worth staying!

Excellent location just across the street from the iconic schlenkerla brewery. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good!

I liked the hotel, and price was good but the noise during the night makes me consider if I would come again.

It was a good deal for the value. The location is very good, breakfast was okay. Bed was confortable.

The room was very warm so you need to open the windows but the street is very noisy until 1-2 o’clock in midnight. ıt was hard to sleep. Pillows were too big, not very confortable.

Brilliant hotel in a lovely town

Based on previous reviews I had high expectations but they were exceeded. The hotel itself is a lovely building and the room are large with comfortable beds. The location is incredible in a little square with lots of other restaurants and bars around, making for a great atmosphere. The bar and restaurant downstairs do excellent food and drink and all the staff were brilliant including the cleaners who helped keeping the rooms cool in the fairly extreme (37C) heat. Bamberg itself is a beautiful little town. With easy access by rail to Nuremberg for a day out (also well worth a visit). The local Rauchbier (smoked beer) is amazing and well worth a try. Never tasted anything like it.

Superb

We stopped here on our annual Bavarian cycle tour this year, having also used the hotel in 2016. We enjoyed it so much the last time that it was an easy choice to return, and again it didn't disappoint. Of course, the location is excellent - central without being too busy, and the bike storage facilities are among the best we encountered - but the main thing is that it's just a simply lovely place to stay. The staff are welcoming, there's a good selection of places to eat and drink right outside (including the fabulous Schlenkerla) and - no small thing - the hotel served easily the best Spargel soup we had over the entire week's tour. We shall definitely be back.

Fun stop on romantic road

Very close to the centre of town, really easy to walk everywhere. We parked in a residential area around a 10-minute walk away from the hotel very easily for free. Good breakfast, nice place!

Central Bamberg with Good Parking

Good, secure and well organised parking right in the centre of Bamburg. Very easy access to the old town, restaurants etc.

The standard of breakfast buffet you get in Germany - even from small B&B's - is frequently extremely high. The breakfast at Alt-Ringlein was OK but didn't match up to such high standards. Our room was directly above the outdoor seating and eating area. Fortunatlely it was cool enough to have the windows shut, which made everything quiet, but in warmer weather it would not have been peaceful with the windows open.
