About this apartment rental

The slightly dated decor aside, this apartment makes for a great central base in Venice, with views of the Grand Canal and Santa Lucia train station handily just a bridge away. You’ve also got a plethora of nearby vaporetto (water bus) stops nearby to take you to St Mark’s Square, Rialto Bridge, Lido, or directly to the airport, making it perfect for those with a tightly packed itinerary. While its location is definitely a strong point, the home isn’t without its merits. The views are a plus, the parquet floors and arched windows add old-world charm, and we’re particularly smitten with the tiled en-suite bathroom with its swish rainfall shower. Home truths: *At capacity, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area *There's no desk here, but the dining table can double up as a laptop-friendly workspace *Given its central location, you may hear some street noise *The decor may feel a little tired and dated to some *The kitchenette is compact and better suited to light snack-making than preparing larger meals *Santa Lucia train station is just one bridge away *It is close to many water bus stops that go to St Mark’s Square, Rialto Bridge, Lido, or directly to the airport
