Zeer aangenaam verblijf in een mooi stadje

Locatie was heel goed en personeel zeer behulpzaam. Ontbijt was prima in een mooie zaal.

Bijbehorende restaurant viel wat tegen.

Meißen ist eine Reise wert und dann ist diese Hotel prima geeignet.

Die Lage war wie gewünscht sehr zentral, das Design im Hotel sehr ansprechend, Parkplatz war mitten im Weihnachtsmarkt natürlich etwas schwierig. Das Frühstücksbüffet war vielfältig.

Das Frühstücksbuffet kann in Richtung veganer Ernährung weiter ausgebaut werden.

Comfortable room, and you can store your bicycle in their courtyard for a small fee. Breakfast was very good!

Superb

uncomfortable sofa, the children were not comfortable. The carpet on the floor is all stained. Otherwise it's clean, staff is friendly, location is great.

Pleasant

Super clean. Pleasant check in. The room we were given was in a very bad place ( 1st floor straigt front of the stairs) considering traveling with dogs. We asked if we could have a quiet room and we were lucky to be given a room at 2nd floor at the end of the building. Here is important to mention that the Sir in Reception was very nice ans shoed interest to his Customer Needs.

Overpriced. The Reception during check out was completly oposit our check in. Very cold, mechanical reactions, no eye contact and just for the protocol at the end of the payment she asked if everything was ok. While my husband mentioned a non stop ventilator sound during the night which maybe they should check, the receptionist reacted pathetically.

Great for short visit at Meissen

Location in the very middle of the town, parking nearby (paid, but affordable). Good breakfasts. Nice old-fashioned place with a story.

There was very loud public party with disco music on Kleinmarkt on Friday till late night - our room had windows at this side and we could not sleep until the party was over. There was no such problem on Thursday night so maybe it was just bad luck.

In the heart of old Meissen a touch of old Europe.

The hotel is super placed in Meissen, and has a touch of old style, too, which is very nice.

Despite pandemics and having a large bar and terrace they insisted in keeping breakfast in an airless room below stairs. Also since they have so many stairs within one floor puting a simple board to enable luggage to be dragged is a very simple idea which could help a lot. Parking needs beung paid seperately.

Nice hotel, very well located, great breakfast.

I had booked a twin room and got a double bed, but with two mattresses. Pillows too thin, also had to ask extra ones. This is normal in Germany, where you always get very thin pillows which are not good for neck…

AC not working and the service was horrible

The AC did not work and the staff told us over and over again it was fixed when it wasn’t. We checked out one night early but they refused any money back. Absolutely horrible service, wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great Choice in Meißen

Great breakfast with hot items such as sausages and eggs, including complementary self service prosecco. Amazingly large room by European standards with space to spread out including a sitting area. Not sure if this was an upgrade or just the room we booked, but we were VERY impressed with the room overall. Exposed wooden beams and stonework gave the room a very authentic old-world charm. Comfortable bed. Very friendly and attentive staff. Fast internet.

Noisy bar across the street, but it closed at a reasonable hour. Closing the soundproof windows resulted in stuffy room with no fresh air. Room appeared to have climate control, but cool air did not come out. Only a fan that recirculated the air already in the room. Second night was much cooler so we were able to open up the windows after the street noise died down. WiFi also required logging in every few hours.
