Carlos had many words of wisdom during these challenging times for the country. He also had excellent local food suggestions. Also a free parking lot near is helpful.

The location is ideal for me, as my travel was centered around Yafo, Bat Yam, and South TA this time, not the Old North and other areas of TA in which I've stayed before. The new light rail opened shortly before I arrived, the Bal Shem Tov station is within easy walking distance, and there are numerous bus lines running on Yefet, right outside. The Holon-Wolfson stop on the commuter rail is also walkable (even with a reasonable amount of luggage), as is the beach, all of Old City Yafo itself as well as the Port, "flea market" area and even the Carmel Shuk in TA.
Jamal is a truly exemplary host, exudes hospitality, and is gracious, professional, and courteous in working to resolve any issues that may arise. His staff vary, as do the seasonal fluctuations in the tourism industry, and so the reliability of staff fluctuates accordingly.

Very cheap and room was new and nice. I asked Jamal to change the room because of the noise from the next room, and he did it. Beach is near.
Walls are thin. Someone took something from the fridge that didn't belong to them.

Przesympatyczni właściciele, bardzo czyste pokoje oraz niesamowicie przyjazna atmosfera

We had a positive experience at the Bayit. The hostel is well located, with several buses that drop you off at the main points of interest in the city (as the bus #10), including a line that connects directly with the Ha-Hagana Train Station (#46). There is public transportation even during Shabbat, a free service offered by the Tel Aviv municipality that runs all night Friday until 7pm on Saturday (bus #705). You can go walking to Jaffa (aprox. 15 minutes), to the old port and the flea market: these areas have a very interesting atmosphere, with many stores, bars and restaurants.
The facilities are simple, clean and well-maintained, and were recently renovated. Just comment that some rooms are located in mezzanines (attics) which are accessed by a small and narrow staircase (the wardrobe is downstairs); It is not a problem but you have to take it into account since the bathrooms are shared and are downstairs. You can also use the common rest areas and the large kitchen, equipped with all the facilities to store and prepare your meals.
We were well received by the owner, Jamal, who is very kind and always ready to share good conversations. He helped us with useful information and even accompanied us to show us where the nearby shops, restaurants and greengrocers were. It is a very nice and recommended place.

The instructions for getting to the place are very clear.
The location is great.
There are restaurants and supermarket with in a walking distance.
Jamal and the staff are very nice and helpful.
The place feels like home.
There is a common kitchen and a fridge, you can cook and use the microwave.
We liked the common sitting area, our private room and the spacious common showers.
Good value for money.
Pay attention that the rooms with the gallery have steep ladder- it's not for everyone.
Tip: if there's something missing in one kitchen you can look for it in the other kitchen or ask for Jamal's help.
Not every room has curtains- if this is important to you, chek it before you order.
In some of the common areas there's a smoking scent-if you're not sensitive, it's not a problem.

Location is a bit far from City center

Good kitchen, very well equipped rooms.
A/C works very decent, which is important in Tel Aviv summer.

All perfect. Good location near the beach and few stations by bus from Old Jaffa. The Host is very kind and helpful. There is a nice Living room, two terraces and two big bathrooms. Everything is tastefully designed. Rooms are new and the bed is totally comfortable. We slept like babies and compare to another zones in the city there was no noise. I would definitely come again.

I was blown away by bayit, it didn’t feel like a regular hostel and I highly recommend anyone to stay here if they are in Jaffa or telaviv. Bayit is the perfect description, it feels like home, the energy is so nice and welcoming, and the owner Jamal is an amazing host. Great location, the place was always clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the people staying here were lovely. 5 out of 5 stars, will definitely stay here again ❤️

Absolutely nothing. Worst facilities, location is not good, hotel staff especiall Jamal the hotel manager are mean and not accomodating.
Everything.
There is nothing to like in this hotel. It’s very dirty, the bathroom is always full of shaved hair, bad smell and the floor is always flood-wet.
The room smells terrible. The kitchen is disgusting and the customer service sucks!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable, pretty design. A few minute walk from a beautiful beach, grocery store and fruits and vegetables only few meters away. A good place to enjoy with friends in Jaffo. The staff is very nice and kind and will go the extra mile to accommodate you. Good place here!!!!!!!

Great value for cost.
Would stay there again / recommend the hotel to others as well.
Didn’t know there would be ladder to get to the bed. Not an issue for me but would be for others with mobility issues.
Could not open room window and upper bed area was not well ventilated, but still very happy with the room for the cost.
