Charming cottage

very comfortable. Everything provided. Luxurious bedding. Very friendly hosts.

Parking a bit awkward. We have a big estate car and had to reverse out onto a busy road.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful (we were made a gluten free cake). Beautiful and tranquil location, but not far from major locations. The cottage was comfortable and contained everything we needed, there’s also an amazing record collection!

Superb. Would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Very, very nice hosts; lots of information and help. Easy to get to our destinations; pubs and grocery stores in close proximity. Wonderful garden; perfect for coffee early in the morning.

A welcome break in an idilic countryside property. Clare and Steve were very welcoming and attentive

We liked the ease of checking in, the space and cleanliness, the friendly village atmosphere and the warmth of the hosts. We also enjoyed using the beautiful garden at the end of the day.

A comfortable stay in the countryside, close to Dartmoor and the seaside resorts

This was a spacious and comfortable ground floor apartment out in the countryside, in beautiful rural surroundings. You could hear the sheep when you wake up in the morning and see the cows on the hillside from your window. The furnishings were older style and the living room decorated with music memorabilia. There was even a guitar, sitting in the corner of the room. The hosts, Steve and Clare, were very helpful and friendly.

There were on a couple of things that were a bit disappointing. The flow rate from the shower was poor. We also could have done with a washing up bowl, and better selection of kitchenware, such as kitchen knives, chopping board, oven gloves etc.

Cute property with everything needed for an amazing stay and the hosts are absolutley lovely.

The property is in a great loacation within easy access of Plymouth and Exeter, as well as smaller coastline villages such as Shaldon and Teignmouth. There is easy access to major supermarkets just a couple of miles away in Newton Abbot. The property is clean and comfortable. The garden is a really nice place to be able to unwind.

There was nothing that we did not like.

Good trip

Friendly hosts, informative on the locality. Great for visiting South Devon easy reach for Brixham, Dartmouth, Torquay and Teignmouth. Relaxing apartment with games etc.. perfect for families.
