it is the loveliest hotel we stayed in 3 weeks in France. extremely comfortable bed, sparkling clean and very tastefully decorated. The woman and her husband who is the chef who own the hotel are very friendly and helpful. the dinner at the restaurant was superb. this is a hidden gem.

Charming, centrally located, hotel with an outstanding restaurant and excellent staff.
Nothing.

The room was comfortable and the location was very good. It was quite and clean.
There was no one there. I never saw a single person. Not even staff. Found my room key in a basket after more than 45 minutes of trying to figure out how to check-in. Very dark at night coming back to it and inside of it too. Only saw people in the restaurant while leaving. I left the keys inside the bedroom because there was no one to ask about check out process. Very confusing and solitary stay. Felt more like I was staying at an Airbnb than a hotel. Would not stay there again.

The property was nice and clean and charming. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was very nice.
The property was clean although the air-conditioning was very inadequate. also There was a coffee machine but it did not work – for the English I’m sure we like milk with our coffee or even choice of coffee or tea. there was a TV in the room although unlike the other five hotels we have stayed in on this trip there was not the ability to watch programs in their original language and so when we wanted to watch TV after a long day was impossible. Luckily for us we had downloaded iPlayer. We had 10 years ago had a marvellous evening meal and my expectations were high for not only the hotel at the restaurant. It cast €60 more per night to stay here and we got much much less than at other facilities. The restaurant was ostentatious and pretentious
for example €35 for one dish and I actually felt that I needed to go out and have a chicken and chips afterwards 🤣

Fantastic location in the forest.
Amazing views from the hottub and a great host.
You are sharing the main house and kitchen but the host is so wonderful it is hardly an issue.

Beautiful site, perfect location, excellent service from Sarah
Parking, but that’s not a fault of the hotel

Very centrally located. Nice, quiet room overlooking the courtyard. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were amazingly soft. The breakfast was superb! Everything was very tasty and fresh.
We also had dinner at La Prévôté, which was amazing. The restaurant was situated above a canal which you could see through a window and there was a fireplace which made it very cosy. It was a 5 course surprise dinner and the food was just incredible. We felt like eating in a Michelin star restaurant, so many flavors, so beautifully presented, just perfect.
The staff was very very friendly and helpful, too bad we couldn’t stay longer.
Having to leave.

What a little jewel! Attention to detail was great, even a magnifying mirror int he bathroom and a great bath. Super quiet and comfortable and the owners did everything possible to accommodate my requests. Would highly recommend

I love the town and surrounding area. The inn is private and quiet and the rooms are large by French standards. The bathroom is large and the shower was great.
Breakfast was spectacular. Made to order eggs and wonderful bread, pastries, meat and cheese. My two favorite items were the local honey served with the breakfast and the orange juice. It was manna from heaven!
Finally, you won’t find too many cooler features in a building than the river that flows through the foundation of the building. It’s absolutely amazing and unique.
I wish I had more time there.

We liked the size of the room and the location.
There was no check in process. I booked on Booking.com . I was not asked for identification or anything. We were just shown the room and given the key. When we booked it said there was free parking at hotel. The hotel has no parking. We had to go and find the lot several blocks away and waited driving round and round for a spot. The lot was not secured and we were worried to keep the rental car overnight.
Secondly we wanted to have dinner at the restaurant downstairs. The innkeeper said that we could make a reservation. We decided to go down right at 7pm when it opened and the staff said there were no tables. And that the menu was quite extensive which he showed us. It was a set menu for 65Euros each. We said perhaps there would be a cancelation but he said no. We ended up going out for a quick dinner and arrived back at the hotel only to find 5 tables taken at 8:30. There were at least 7 tables open. We thought maybe because we didn't speak French, even though the staff spoke English.
We felt very shunned and treated rudely. I guess even with the lack of business during the Covid lock down they didn't need our 130 Euros plus wine??
The ottoman in the room was terribly worn and took away from the other nicely appointed furnishings.

Love the location and overall style of this hotel!
They were not open for dinner the evening we stayed. The shower head in our room was not working so we had to squat and use the handheld only. Finding and locating is a bit challenging. And parking is not very convenient, but overall was a great stay and would stay there again!

Very comfortable bed with A/C in the room. Great bathroom with L’Occitane products
Nice breakfast with fresh bread and viennoiseries in the beautiful courtyard
No reception desk. In case of issue I would not know how to contact the staff ...
3.5
Very cool looking hotel in central location. Rooms are stylish and the tub is nice to bathe in. Surrounding market is a delight to roam around in.
No elevator and room on 3rd floor. Also the AC was not very effective causing a lot of tossing and turning on a hot summer night. The approach street is very narrow and it is difficult to reach by car.

The hotel was lovely and although very centrally located, it was exceptionally quiet. I heard no noise whatsoever from the street or other guests. The breakfast in the courtyard was a wonderful start to the day.
