Hilltop Heaven
I’ll start by saying, “omg.. what a view!” The first step you take through the front door, all you see is a magnificent view of hilltops with trees and houses. When sitting outside on the large patio provided with comfortable seating, you’ll even see plans departing from the nearby airport.
The home is very CLEAN, which has to be 1 on the top of my list. If a home is not clean, I will not be at ease and I’ll be the first one smoking out the door!! Home is very spacious and opened to where I had family sitting in different sections of the house, but it felt like we were in 1 room together. Some were in the kitchen at the large island, at the large dinner table, and living room. So we could all converse and not miss out on topics that were discussed. What I also liked about the home was its location. You have a grocery store that’s literally 3 mins away. So upon arriving, I dropped off my luggage and went grocery shopping. Of course I forgot to purchasing something, but didn’t mind going back because it’s so close by along with restaurants and other attractions. So, needless to say, the home is amazing and my family and I will definitely return!!

The spaciousness of this house suited our needs. Read below!
This is now my 3rd far no response. Let's see if I get a response from this comment: I reported an electrical outlet in the main bath which was detached from the wall. Management sent someone to put it back into the wall. Turns out it's a problem and the maintenance person said it continues to happen. Perhaps it needs to be permanently fixed. The problem is that when he was finished, he came downstairs and told our daughter her wedding dress was pretty! How did he see the dress? The main bedroom closet was completely closed. No way he could have seen it without opening the door. A violation of our privacy. Why would he do that? Maybe you need more trustworthy help. I'd really like a response.

Monterey Golf Buddies Trip
Location:
The location was great with 15- 20 minute access to all the great golf courses that we played at. There are good stores nearby to buy food, coffee, etc. The deck was awesome with a beautiful view.
There were a lot of towels and the bedrooms were clean. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
There were 3 bedrooms with 3 good beds and 1 additional bedroom with 3 bunk beds. Bunk beds may be good for younger adults, but not for a group with older adults and it was inconvenient. There were 2 good bathrooms (one with the upstairs bedroom and one shared by one of the downstairs bedrooms and the bunk bed room). The third bathroom attached to another downstairs bedroom was extremely tight with no elbow room and the sink is extremely close to the toilet.

Feeling like home
We enjoyed the stay in La Vista Portola very much. The house was very spacious, nice furnished and very cozy ! Especially the kitchen was very well equipped, we liked it very much cooking there and eating at home. Inside the house was spotless and all the facilities first quality ! Outside, the entrance and the terrace weren't well-kept, should be more attention on that point. Anyway, I can really recommend to hire this place !

Our Monterey Jazz Festival stay
Being so close to the Fairgrounds as well as a local grocery store worked well. The house was spacious. The front had a porch swing and back deck overlooked the hilly neighborhood - wonderful!

Fabulous house for a girls' getaway.
Four of us came together from all corners of California and loved having our own bedrooms. The Living Room is perfect for long talks into the night, and the spacious well equipped kitchen welcoming as we came together each morning. Easy location for access to all of Monterey County. Dinner at Tarpy's Roadhouse was a highlight.

Portola Paradise
What a great place. The views are amazing. The house is very well maintained. Love the spacious kitchen and living area. Liked all the little touches as well. Hand lotion, shampoo & conditioner bottles were cute. I liked the black makeup towels very clever! The Whole House was just very comfortable for our family. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Wedding Reunion
We had a wonderful stay at our rental on La Vista Portola! We were in town for a family wedding and it was the perfect place for our multi-generational group. We had ages 16 months to the 90 year old grandmother of the groom. The property was very accommodating making sure a pack and play crib was on-site for my granddaughter. Property was spotless as well as having a well stocked kitchen to make meals for our very diverse age group. We couldn't have been more comfortable and are planning to return again.

Lovely, Bright, Clean Vacation Rental Well Located to Monterey
We enjoyed staying at the vacation rental. This was a work trip. We decided to rent the home instead of hotel rooms to save money and it was a smart choice. The house was clean, bright, quiet, had everything we needed and each person had their own space but spaces to be together too. We will rent here again.

Family getaway
We had a very nice stay in this home with plenty of room for our 5 adults and two kids to roam. Accommodations were very nice with everything we needed for our stay. Access to everything in Monterey was a short car ride, it was a nice neighborhood with welcoming neighbors. Highly recommended.

The rental was great. Very clean, up to date and had most amenities. Sanctuary was very thorough and communicative so it made the check-in, stay and check out an ease.

Good choice for large family
Spacious and clean home, photos were accurate. We had plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 teens. Good for a large family, nice view from deck, we would return.

Great place to stay
The house was amazing. It was easy to find. We loved sitting on the back deck watching the airplanes land and take off. The house was not too close so that it was super noisy from the planes. It was very close to stores, Safeway and Walgreens, so we could quickly grab anything we needed. The weather when we were there was perfect for using the fireplace in the front room. Something to note is the room off the livingroom ises a standing heater to keep it warm. My family had a great time staying here.
