It features 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. We have all the amenities that will allow you and your family to enjoy the beach and create wonderful memories.
We are Pet Friendly with hardwood floors throughout the home. We still have the original hardwood floors so clean up after the little ones is a Breeze - Both for the little two legged ones and the 4 Legged ones!
Our beach cottage has a large yard just before you get to the beach. We have a private driveway that will allow for 2 vehicles to park just outside your door. In the living room is a 75" Large Smart TV along with High Speed Wi-Fi for your streaming tv entertainment. The beach is about a 20 second walk from the back door. We also have a washer/dryer for your convenience.
For safety, we have smoke detectors as well as a carbon monoxide detectors as we do have a gas heat and hot water.
Our back deck allows for a wonderful place to relax as we have a patio table and 4 Chairs. In the back yard, we have a fire pit for you to make a campfire and roast hot dogs or make "S'mores" for the kids. Also on the deck is the Charcoal Webber grill for your outdoor dining pleasure. Our fully fenced in yard is just behind a beautiful protective dune and parking is right outside your door.
This is a residential area with neighbors not far away. Quiet hours begin at 9 PM.
This is a Family/Residential unit and area, thus we do not allow for loud music or noise. There is another unit carved out of the attic. Each unit has its own entrance and exit, only the parking area, backyard and beach access is shared.
Even with a thorough modernization the property is a historical home that is now over 90 years old. It has some eccentricities that reflect building standards and designs from the turn of the last century that lends to its charm as an older beach cottage. Our bathroom is not as large as modern built, but even so, we hope that you will love our older and charming home. All systems and appliances work as they should; this is a vintage cottage on the bay that exhibits the historical architecture and features of yesterday. As such, this older home may not be for everyone. We do strive to make these older homes as comfortable, clean and cozy. However it is not perfect in every way - some floors are not perfectly level, some windows do not open easily, interior doors and locks are a bit older - if these items are important to you, maybe another unit would be more suitable.
That being said, our location can not be beat!

The first thing we noticed was the musty smell as soon as we walked in the door and then the stuffiness and heat. One bedroom didn’t have any functioning light and had an outlet that is broken as well. The two sliding doors don’t lock or shut all the way. There is mold/mildew on the shower curtains. The boards on the deck have nails popping out of them and are warped causing another safety hazard. A large number of ants greeted us on every surface in the kitchen/living room area.
While we understand that this is an old home these are things that shouldn’t happen regardless of the age of the home. Sadly, we won’t be staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this beach cottage. It's not fancy but enough room to enjoy our family and have a short, private walk to the beach.
On the hottest day (99 with total humidity) the ac struggled a little to keep up but was fine for more average summer temps.
The location was great and the privacy was wonderful to have for kids with a little yard to run around in.

This is a very cute house with a great location. At risk of sounding like a “Karen”, I believe people should know the truth. However, dishwasher was broken, shower knob falls off in your hand, bathroom ceiling falling in, and suspicion of mold. When reported dishwasher, owner stated “these things happen and to let him know if it’s inconvenient”. Most of kitchen cabinets are in disrepair. I haven’t had asthma problems in 15 years and had to get an inhaler called in. My son also had problems but he is sensitive to many things. As soon as we left breathing problems stopped for us both. My husband repaired the ceiling fan that was falling down in the living room. No remote for tv. Paid to download an app. The beach access is amazing. Bringing the dog was convenient. There is a unit above this one, a couple rented for 2 nights. Their dog howled until 2 am. We were under the impression that house was “ours”. Thought we had the whole driveway, but did not. This was very different than our expectations. We are calling it our Griswold Beach Vacation.

It's in terrible shape. Way too expensive for this shack, really.

Cute little cottage, fantastic location. The listing is very accurate.

You can’t beat the location if you’re looking for beach access. However- I felt the accommodations could be improved upon. I felt like some basics- shampoo or bath soap- would have been nice. Also the mattresses were so firm I woke up feeling like I’d been camping on the ground. In fact a lot of this place feels like those state park cabins- bare bones. Not saying that’s a bad thing at all if that’s your style! Again, beach access was lovely.

This house was in a perfect location to the beach! We loved being able to walk right out onto the beach every morning. The beach was not crowded at all even for a holiday weekend. The house itself was a cute vintage style home with everything we needed. The cool night weather allowed for us to make a fire in the backyard fire pit and make s’mores. Our kids loved it!

Its a good place, family enjoyed it and we had a great time being able to wake up and within a minute or twohave our feet in the brisk water. Kids had fun watching the little crabs run to and fro.
Was a nice older house, comfortable and plenty of room for the 6 of us. Modern appliances all worked well.
Only issue we had was when we first arrived we found a full plate of breakfast sausages in the microwave that seemed like they had been there for a bit, luckily they were cooked and just forgotten, and not raw. No other issues really, it was just weird finding a plate of sausages. I (jokingly) dared the kids to eat one, but they were too scared, lol.
Overall we liked our time and talked about remembering this house for future trips.

Wonderful stay. House was very clean inside. Too bad it was so windy, we didn’t get a chance to go on the beach.
