The place was as described. The hosts were welcoming! Breakfast was awesome!

Shared bathroom can be a problem when shared with other guests who appear to be sick.

Wonderful welcome to the South Island!

Very friendly host, breakfast was lovely, rooms were spotless with high quality linen. We were welcomed warmly with great suggestions for dining options.

I can't really say I didn't like it, but was hard to gather together without a bit of a sitting room.

Nice peaceful spot

Friendly hosts, great shower, comfortable bed. Great dog.

Stone driveway a little tricky on large motorcycle, shared bathroom with other guests.

Would highly recommend to stay here! Just what you need and nice and clean and pretty

Beautifully set up , lovely host, cute breakfast, bathroom set up very nicely for travelling guests with shampoo etc. Parking right outside room. Nice and safe and clean and very pretty . Exactly as pictured. Small table and chair outside.

No wifi password in room (although I’m sure if you asked they would provide, just that I arrived late at night).

Lovely, quiet location. Wonderful family hosts.

Room is part of a brand new home. Nicely separated from the main family living area. The family are great hosts friendly and helpful and made us very welcome. Lovely continental breakfast included.

Moana B&B - good place to rest after travel

Comfortable room and parking right in front of room door. Breakfast was a simple continental, adequate to set you on your way. Bathroom facilities beautifully clean and not lacking in provisions. The venue is set in a lovely, quiet, elevated location and has lovely views. Nicola, Alice, Charlotte and Tilly were there when we arrived and were delightful hosts! This establishment is relatively new on the B&B circuit and well worth your patronage. The hosts have put in great effort to make the house comfortable and relaxing for their guests. Highly recommend

We arrived on a rainy night and it was hard to find even with the GPS because the roads are dark in that location and the house numbering was not well lit and set amongst a series of letter boxes about 6m from the road. Because of the lack of overall lighting, I could not see the pools of water in the dark driveway and in front of our room, as a result I stepped into muddy pools of water and had wet sneakers the next day. I cannot complain about the actual stay at all but would highly recommend that lights be installed at front and side of driveway to assist weary travellers, especially at night time.
