The house was lovely and clean. The house had almost everything in there you could need. The location was good. Post office across the road. The beach was a 2minute drive. The bed was really comfortable. Washing up liquid sponge and cloth provided was a nice touch. The quilt wasn't very thick but owner did bring round a warmer one without me having to ask, which was really nice.Plenty of storage place. Good WiFi.
Tv was set to high on the wall. Gave me neckache looking up.Could have done with a tumble dryer. The parking isn't good but we're warned.

We could not get parked near property but it was a really rainy weekend and the local pub was hosting a wedding

A clean and comfortable cottage with a well equipped kitchen. Ideal short stay for two people. Great location to explore St Bees and surrounding area. We enjoyed a lovely day on the beach with a cliff top walk. Priory is a must see not only for the architecture but to read the local history.
Pubs offered a good food and drink experience. And surrounding countryside offered wonderful walking for example a circular walk around Ennerdale Water.

Very good quality and range of kitchen equipment
Bed comfortable
Parking wasn't good, luckily free parking at train station just lower down the street was good

Nice area and quite central for what we wanted to do. A convenient shop over the road which sold all sorts and 3 pubs, all so different but nice and friendly. A lovely beach close by within walking distance.
Overall really pleased with our few days and the weather wasn't too bad either đ

The house was cosy, clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a short stay. Clear instructions for check in and great communication. The location was perfect with a village shop over the road, two pubs and a train station within a few minutes walk.
The parking is a little bit misleading as itâs only a one hour stay outside the house but there is a free car park just down the road at the station. It was full on one occasion but the pub next door kindly allowed us to park in their car park overnight.

The property was well equipped and central in the village. Convenient shop.
Parking is a little inconvenient especially when unloading. The bed was somewhat low although comfortable enough.

House is ideally placed to explore St Bees, the coast walks and the Lake District. Short walk to the beach and 2 pretty good restaurant/pubs very close.
House was very clean and comfortable.
Parking arrangements were a bit deceiving as the property advertised ample free parking outside, but on arrival the welcome pack told us parking was limited to 1 hour but we could park free in St Bees Station car park. Luckily we were able to park there but it got very busy during the day.
Reliant on 4G and the pubs for WiFi.
Finishing touches in the house need some attention. It looks like it's been got ready to let too quickly. E.g. Exposed wiring left by boiler, old worktops and tiles have been covered in a stick on laminate, kitchen cupboards painted on outside but not inside, tiles painted, bathroom door doesn't shut. Some would say quirky, but as a tradesman I would have expected a higher quality of finish.
