Love the house and location. The road in is a little rough. Wouldn't want to try to get a car in. Overall, it was exactly what we were looking for.

Very steep driveway.

Pure serenity in a clean and cozy cabin. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch - the views during meals are a pampered experience (and no bugs). Large mountain view’s in every room. Kitchen stocked with cookware, oils and spices. Do yourself a favor and take a break from the hustle and re-charge in quiet bliss.
Follow owners directions, not gps. Owner is always quick to respond with any questions.

The cabin is ideally located on the mountain and the views from the screened in porch are by far the best I’ve ever had from a rental. If we ever decide to return to this area we will definitely stay at this cabin again. Also, the cabin was very well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay.

We love this cabin. We were actually the first ones to stay at this cabin a few years ago and it hasn’t changed a bit. No signs of aging and so clean. Only complaint would be about the couch. It’s showing its age but was fine. We will definitely be back!

We're very happy with our stay, as all that was expressed about this property was accurate.
Nice, easy one floor plan which was good for our handicapped daughter.

The cabin was pretty and just right. The views with fall leaf color was beautiful. Very quiet peaceful place to recharge your batteries. The screen porch is great. A really good place to get away from road noise.

This is a nice small cabin with a fantastic view of the mountains especially with the brilliant fall colors. We enjoyed visiting the town of Bryson city and would recommend taking the train ride through the gorge. Please be aware that the mountain road is long and fairly rough in some places even in a truck and would not recommend for a first time mountain road driver.

This little cabin was perfect for our week stay in Maggie Valley. It did take about 10 minutes to get from the cabin to the paved highway but we didn’t mind at all- the quiet area was very nice to come back to in the evenings after going all day. The gas fireplace is nice to have (it didn’t see much use as the temps were very mild) and the cabin had everything else we needed. This was probably the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for peace and quiet but close enough to everything else.

The pictures do not do it justice. This is a modern cabin with lots of bells and whistles and a great view from the living room, master bedroom, and porch. Everything you need to cook, curl up with a book, or just 'be'. Easy check in, great communication from host, and great directions. Tip: follow the directions that the host gives you or GPS will lead you in circles. It's on a dirt road but our Prius had no problem getting up and down. 15 minutes puts you right on the Blue Ridge Parkway near great hiking or in the Cherokee reservation, so the location cannot be better. Thanks so much to our host for sharing this special place with us.

Follow the directions given by the amazing hosts and you won’t be sorry (after the rough road drive - for us city folk) once you arrive at your quiet cabin in the woods stay. The view is breathtaking and the cabin is cozy!

If you want a lovely, quaint cottage in the middle of mountain bliss, this is for you! This is my second stay at his cabin, and it will not be my last. You cannot go wrong with this loveliness. Fabulous host that responds to communication right away.

The cabin was lovely. Nestled among the trees up a windy mountain road. Quiet retreat to kick back and enjoy nature. We drove to Waynesville, Cherokee, Bryson City, NC. We also went up to Gatlinburg, TN. Friendly people in this part of the country.

The cabin was cute, but getting there was dangerous. The 5 mile gravel lane was steep, winding and washed out in some places. If you meet someone, you may have to back up around a sharp curve or on a steep embankment. Four wheel drive is a must, especially after a rain. The route is not for the faint of heart.

We really enjoyed this cozy, charming cabin. It was well stocked with books, games and movies but we spent our time enjoying the beautiful view and sitting around the campfire. We'll definitely be back to enjoy this cabin again!

The property was gorgeous. Just as advertised except for sometimes you may need a 4-wheel drive to get to this cabin. Other than that it was a very beautiful and specious cabin. My grandchildren really enjoyed the smores that was left by the owners.

This cabin is quant, cozy and feels like home away from home. Very clean, well decorated and well stocked. Ate meals on the screened-in porch and warmed up in the evening by the fireplace. The host quickly responds to any questions. Definitely will be back!
