Nice design Hotel, great bar and very good restaurant.

Amazing hotel. Super cosy and clean. Staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel was just beautiful to look at, every room you entered was stunning. Brilliant location, lots of restaurants close by. Area full of history and close to Berlin zoo. Would definitely recommend and would stay again in the future.

Too hot. The AC had been turned off ‘for winter’ so the room wouldn’t go below 26c and as a result we didn’t sleep for two nights. Complained to the hotel and they didn’t seem interested in offering a refund or anything, just a generic apology emails

Be prepared to get disappointed!
This place looks luxurious. But the service is really bad. You can ask for clean towels, have the room cleaned or get toiletpaper, like we did 3 times.
But to have our towels changed, I had to take them down to the reception. To get rif of our garbage, I actually had to do the same!
It makes this hotel unique, because this is something I have never had to do before!
Which happened even after a written complaint in the afternoon. In the evening we arrived at the room with still the same filled garbage baggs and dirty towels...
It would be fine if this was a two star hostel. But they use “a better environment” as a lame excuse to provide no cleaning or service AT ALL. To have anything done, you need to stand in line in the morning and request it. But if you do, for some reason (maybe it’s the leather pants) nothing happened !
But it could be me ofcourse. Because if I book a 4-star hotel and pay €750 for 5 nights, I expect a lot more than just the good looks of a rather small room. I expect to have my bed changed, garbage taken out, toiletpaper replaced and if I ask them to do this, after a written complaint, to fix this. But who am I ?!?
Just another traveller that won’t be advising this hotel for sure!

Love staying at Hoxton hotels, it’s always such a treat for special occasions.
However on this occasion, I have to say considering the rating of the hotel and expectations that come with a Hoxton Hotel it was no different service wise than staying in a budget hotel. Every interaction with a member of staff was rushed or a negative. Could we have a night cap? No we stopped 5 minutes ago. We’re here for breakfast. Okay but I’m taking your order quickly because you only have 15 minutes.
This was a birthday present for my partner, and returning from our gig for a glass of something in the room at 5 past 11 doesn’t feel like an extraordinary request. Nor does coming down at 10:45 for a last orders at 11am for breakfast.
We are coming back to Berlin in the autumn, but looks like we’ll have a nicer time at Locke hotels looking at the reviews there.

To start, everything is a one, not because some sections deserve a one, but because there is no way this hotel should be recommended to anyone other than those who secretly enjoy being ignored, bad service and/or ripped off. On the first day, housekeeping in cleaning the room, played hide and go seek with my medication. Searched my luggage twice in panic until I found them where housekeeping had put them. I complained and they didn’t touch them again. If that was the only thing fine. Then the dirty black sock under the wardrobe. Yes, I could have picked it up, but I was curious how long it would take them to spot it: 5 days. Every hotel in the world uses towel on floor fresh towel, hanging leave it alone. Not here; so much for the environment.
The lounge. Now, I like a dark room as much as the next photographer, but when you can barely see the table, let alone anyone else near you it’s too dark Service, pretty much non-existent. You had to go find them (easy enough they all stand at the end of the bar talking to each other (5 nights) of on their phones (2 nights) finally get that drink after waiting 15 minutes.
Checkout: 1st bill 1300, 2nd +/- 300,, 3rd 280 final bill 145 probably not; I just wanted to go. That the front desk was upset with me: hilarious.
My impression: staff feel that they are just to cool to actually work and the guest should just be grateful that they don’t get spat upon. Suggestion, with one exception, fire the lot and start over.

Nice new hotel with a few good restaurants and shopping options around.

Great hotel, comfy beds and very stylish rooms. Close to a U-bahn station too. Our only issue was the coffee not being replaced on the second day and when I asked for a spare bag they told me it would be 5 euros, luckily it was topped up the next day again. Overall it was a great stay and amazing price.

First time staying at a Hoxton and would definetly recommend and stay in again. Glad we upgraded to the Roomy as the room hasn't huge, but big enough for two
4.3
Lovely hotel - room was impeccable - modern and comfortable
4.3
You have to ask for the room to be cleaned. And both times we did, it was not. The bathroom sink was also not draining and it took them two days to fix it.
4.3
Great hotel - loved the location and the staff were great.

This hotel was esthetically pleasing. The lobby/ bar area really set a relaxing vibe. Staff was accommodating with late check out at no cost. Drinks at the bar were great!

Decent hotel.

Uber stylish hotel, with many small details that make it feel next level. Rooms not particularly massive but great bed, classy bathroom and all you need. Cool bar and public areas, interesting breakfast and fantastic location make this feel a high end experience. I really liked it.

Great hotel just off the main shopping street in Berlin, Kurfürstendamm. It's fairly easy to get to by public transport from the Brandenburg Airport - we took the S-Bahn line 9 from Terminal 2 to the Zoologischer Garten station and then walked for about 12 minutes to the hitel. Being in a central location, the hotel is near a variery of dining options, cafés, transport, shopping and sights in the western city centre. Kaiser Wilhelm I Memorial Church is jusr 5 min away on foot. The hotel itself is very clean, modern, with a design referencing the Art Nouveau style of its Charlottenburg neighbourhood. We had the "Roomy" room - spacious, quiet, with very comfortable bedding, large bathroom with shower etc. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. We'd stay again at this hotel on our next visit.

Really pretty hotel and very sweet helpful staff. And I really love how easy it was to bring my Kooikerhondje; Freja along.

Hoxton Berlin is in the quiet and fancy neighborhood of the city, a real sanctuary right next to the shopping street Kurfurstendaam.
The hotel is well designed, accomodates ppl who has to work during the trip, great service and friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are small but cosy.

We are thrilled to recommend this hotel to family and friends. From the moment we set foot inside , we were extremely impressed. The customer service was exceptional. Our room was beautiful, and there were two bottles of water, milk , and a great little coffee station.
In the morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast , which included one of the best lattes we have ever had.
The pastries were divine.
Also, please go have dinner there. You will not be disappointed.
There are free battery assisted bicycles.
Overall, this hotel will receive the highest rating. Thank You . We shall come again one day.
4.3
Excellent in every respect.

A great hotel with a refreshingly less conventional style to your regular big brands. A relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, with friendly staff.

Strange

Good location on this half the city. Nice residential area but very close to everything.
3rd stay now, events seem to take priority over guests. Rooms cleaned on request which is fine when the request is actioned, 3 requests and 2 not actioned.
Overall a decent hotel, but shame about a couple of details.
4.3
Excellent hotel with great breakfast service, though, very slow.
Definitely not for people in hurry
Consider to sit 1h in advance: they will cook your breakfast live for you, but that means that 1 pancake will arrive in 30-40 minutes after your order.
4.3
„Roomy“ room was booked and paid for. Actual room was very, very small. Queen bed, one chair, which had to moved around to reach the wardrobe. Room 712.
Room should have been 20 sqm , was at best 16 sqm all in (incl bath and entry).
