Lovely house, right in the centre of Arundel, beautiful décor and character.

Great property throughout, beautifully decorated. Loved the feel of the old property, including the old bakers oven, stairs were very steep but this added to the character of the house, although I wouldn't recommend if you are elderly or have small children. Great communication with hosts.

Beautiful, characterful house, close to everything 🙂

The house was beautifully furnished, the kitchen had everything that you might need, although we didn't use it as we ate out. The bathrooms were updated, although the hand held shower in the main bathroom was in a weird position for those of us who don't like an overhead rain shower. The house is located very near to the castle and is a short walk to the cafes and restaurants

Fresh milk would have been nice, as would some fresh bread (given that it was originally a bakery). The towels could have been thicker and the TV remote needed new batteries - we had to keep jiggling them about to get the remote to work. The very steep stairs were difficult for our daughter to navigate (she has a disability which affects her mobility), so anyone else with mobility issues may find this also.

Excellent central location in Arundel. High standard of decor.

Felt a bit 'corporate'. No books, games or other items which would given the rental a more individual and homely feel. Just one dishwasher tablet for a three-night stay felt a bit mean given the cost of the rental.

Arundel fantastic. Accommodation great.

Gleaming cleanliness, quality, location. Ease of keypad rather than key. Spacious kitchen well equipped. Luxurious bedding and comfortable beds. Amazing hot showers at press of a button.

Still recovering from a knee injury so very steep stairs were a problem I was not expecting. Especially with a heavy bag. It is just the way the house was built but either it was not made clear or I missed the fact when booking. The toilet seat to the smaller bedroom at the back was very high. A bit strange. Found putting plug in and out of bathroom sink not so straight forward. System I had not seen before. Irritated when asked to give feedback when still there. Also was not keen on all the instructions received on what to do when leaving the place the next day.

We had such a wonderful few days of family fun.

location was excellent, right in the heart of Arundel. Arundel castle is a great attraction and you can walk there in minutes. There are quaint shops and cafes on your door step.

We have stayed there once before and obviously things just get more worn but nothing major.

Comfortable cottage in great location.

Great location for castle and cafés and restaurants/shops.

Crockery in the property is very marked with the glaze cracked. Needs renewing.

Simply amazing!

Beautiful inside. Newly renovated and the nicest place we stayed in 2 weeks in England! Three floors and cool history with the bakery begin the original purpose of the building.

It would be nice to have floor fans in the bedrooms and dark curtains to block out the street light.

The location was second to none, the home absolutely beautiful. It was like a home away from home - but even nicer. So many gorgeous touches, really just perfect! We extended our stay!

High quality accommodation

The Bakery was furnished and decorated to the highest degree. Everything was considered. Very stylish, well equipped and comfortable.

Very little, but I had a bad back and there wasn't a shelf for bottles etc in the shower so I had to bend down. I'd recommend fitting shelves/bottle holders. We couldn't find the secret cutlery drawer but a phone call to Sophie quickly sorted that out so no problem there.

Really lovely property, would book again next time I visit the area.

Location great and the house was very well presented. Comfortable beds, really nice showers and lovely kitchen. Had a great stay!

I was given an incorrect door code from the site I booked through which was frustrating, but the host was very helpful with sorting it. As a solo female traveller, one thing I would have liked is a bolt on the front door to feel extra secure.

Bright, clean and well equipped.

Very clean, comfortable bed, spacious showers with consistent water temperatures. Bright throughout, well equipped kitchen with plenty of storage; adequate bedroom storage. Good location, and got lucky with being able to park fairly close to The Bakery most of the time.

Steep and tall steps on stairs. The addition of a small table with chairs in the kitchen would be a plus, along with somewhere to hang dish towels!
