This place is a dump. You think you’re saving a couple or bucks but you’re really exposing yourself to a 3rd tier property and the stress of that isn’t worth it. Spend a few more dollars and stay somewhere normal

Positively, the hotel is centrally located with easy access to pretty much everywhere a tourist may be interested in going to. The breakfast (e.g. with scrambled eggs) is way above average for Argentinian circumstances, where breakfast is generally considered unimportant which often results in breakfasts offering barely anything but "café con leche y medialuna". Also, the room has been properly cleaned. However, as other reviewers mentioned, the hotel is in urgent need for renovation and the rooms are small. The view, which appears beautiful in the pictures, is only for two rooms each floor towards the main entrance. The others are towards the side onto ugly and dirty residential units. The lack of air condition will almost certainly be a significant summer problem on the higher floors as opening the windows is barely an option given the noise from the highly used Avenida de 9 Julio in front of the hotel. Overall, a reasonable place to stay but the hotel is certainly no prime choice in Buenos Aires and is overpriced for what it delivers.

The hotel is old but it keeps the elegance and glamour of 30 years ago, the experience was great, I recomend it by far

Hotel rooms are spacious, staff are excellent. Rooms are fresh and clean. Modern bathroom. Breakfast is also very good.

Over all it was a good clean hotel and the breakfast has a good variety, but it is a little dated. The front desk was very helpful with my questions though and they did speaks English.

Upon arrival the staff greeted me with a smile and took the time to explain all the hotel amenities. They had decent WiFi available from in my room. Doorman to restaurant staff were always friendly and attentive. Definitely would stay there again.

Hotel Presidente is very centrally located, right in the heart of Avenida Nueva de Julio. It's in walking distance to Florida pedestrian mall and all other turist attractions. The rooms are large very clean and the bathroom was recently renovated. The aircon was OK but I was told that it is undergoing renovation as well. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel staff very responsive.
