About this apartment rental

Effective June 18, 2024, through July 29, 2024, Papakea Resort will undertake an extensive plumbing project involving this unit. There will be additional noise from surrounding work on Building A through September 13, 2024. Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, unless authorized for weekend work. Contractors may be present on the property to commence preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM. Non-working holidays are already included in the schedule. To minimize disruption, any excessively loud work will not commence before 10:00 AM. Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.

Boasting 450 more square feet than Papakea's normal two-bedroom rentals, this spacious condo offers some of the best views from Papakea Resort and can accommodate up to 8 guests. Stay oceanfront and pool front with this open-concept corner unit, designed specifically for larger gatherings!

You'll enjoy Papakea Resort A101-A102's amazing oceanfront location and the beauty of Maui from virtually every room! Unwind with a cocktail on your choice of 2 lanai areas, one accessible from the dining area and one accessible from the living area. While relaxing on your private lanais, you'll be able to spot sea turtles and whales breaching. This West facing condo will provide first row seats to Maui's incredible sunsets and views of the majestic islands of Molokai and Lanai.

Papakea Resort A101-A102 is a ground floor unit featuring a luxurious interior, and more! Inside you'll find a relaxed Hawaiian inspired atmosphere with cool tile flooring, tropical themed furnishings and décor, and plenty of natural light. The kitchen is equipped with stainless appliances and offers counter seating for 3 and a dining table for 4. Two comfortable sofas not only boast views of the ocean but convert to Queen size sofa sleepers to accommodate additional guests. Pour your glass of wine at the separate bar area, complete with a mini fridge and wine fridge.

In the master bedroom you'll enjoy a King size bed and a spacious place to rest after a day in the sun. Just around the corner is the master bathroom which includes dual sinks, stone countertops and a walk-in tile surround shower. The guest bedroom also features a King size bed and access to the main bathroom, featuring a walk in shower. Pack light! This unit has a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi ponds, two salt water pools, spas, shuffleboard, putting greens, tennis and much more! It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Just walking distance from the resort are many shops, restaurants and a grocery store. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches.

* Papakea charges a $25/day facility fee. The fee includes a parking permit, Wi-Fi throughout the resort, cable and local calls during your stay. Additional vehicles are $5 a day. This is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival. Our on-island team provides: Dish soap, laundry soap and dryer sheets, in addition to a complimentary starter set of Papaya Noni shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and body soap. We also provide beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler for your stay.

This condo is managed professionally by My Perfect Stays. Complimentary concierge service is available to all of our guests.

Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund.
Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund.

I have stayed in Papakea Resort twice now and it’s honestly the best. The grounds are well maintained, the units we’ve chosen are beautiful, the location is amazing for families, it’s quiet but just enough to keep you busy, everything you’ll need is basically a walk or run away and your favorites are a 10 minute drive. Whoever is putting off their trip due to the fires that occurred last year- you can visit the island without disruption. Just be respectful to the locals as it is still in the phases of the clean up process. Aside from that Maui is still my favorite place to visit when we can go and if you’re looking for a cozy place to call home for your stay choose this resort.

Papakea is a special place to our family and we've stayed in many units over 20+ years. This is the best groundfloor unit by far. The set-up is fantastic with two primary bedroom set-ups and plenty of comfy pull out couch sleeping space for the kiddos. The proximity to the pool, shuffleboard, beach stairs and seawall is perfect. We will be back! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

This condo is spacious, clean, and convenient. It's oceanfront location, and close proximity to the pool is perfect, and without all the noise that larger hotels come with. It was equipped with everything we needed-beautiful full kitchen, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, tennis rackets, separate bar area with blender, two king size beds and two full bathrooms. The living space is huge, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There are 2 lanai areas, with two large sliding doors. It is essentially two units made into one by removing a wall. It was perfect for our family of 4, and when our friends stayed for a few nights, it was spackious enough for all 8 of us! We enjoyed lounging on the lawn right in front of the condo, and you cannot beat the sunset view from this place! We had several people walk by asking for the rental information since it is a beautiful ground floor unit, and there is not another one like it in the compplex. We can't wait for our next visit here!

Loved your place. Some suggestions for improved experience. Coolers were great but some ice packs would have helped. The frying pans need to be replaced. Knifes needs sharpening or replaced.

everything and more you could want from a condo in Maui.. just thought one thing i should point out is there is no ice maker and was only 1 ice tray when we stayed there.. if your group is adults who enjoy the occasional cocktail you need to buy ice but other than that no compalints

We went with another couple. 2 seperate master bedrooms with master bathrooms was perfect Very roomy living area to host dinners and relax on the lenai and grass area to enjoy watching the priceless sunsets. We can't wait to come back again! Thank you for sharing your paradise!!

We were totally happy with our 5-day stay at Papakea A101. How could you not love hearing the crashing waves just 30 feet from the patio? Being on the first floor was great - to walk out and relax with a view of paradise. The only complaint was that the air conditioner did not cool the bedrooms as we would have liked although it wasn't enough to lower our rating.

We absolutely loved this place!!! I wouldn’t have traded it for a hotel stay for anything. Walked out of the patio onto the softest grass & just a few steps more to the ocean. It is also very close to the pool & hot tub. We had so many people ask us to share the link because it is a 2 bedroom with so much space & privacy. We played pickle-ball & the courts were very nice. We were walking distance to an amazing pizza place! We picked it up a couple nights & ate dinner on the patio while watching the sunset & listening to the waves. The grounds were immaculate at all times. They lit the tiki torches every night. I seriously can’t recommend this place enough….I hope to be back soon!

We loved our place in Papakea. This was by far one of the best condos on the property, large, tons of light, next to the beach and the pool and on the ground floor. We have two small kids (8 and 4) so the ground floor and location were ideal. Staying with us was my mom as well and there was plenty of room for my husband and I, our two boys and my mom. It’s was an absolutely gorgeous place with amazing sunset views. We loved how the sliding doors could basically open up an entire side of the condo allowing the ocean breeze in. We had great communication with the property managers and they were very quick to answer if we had any questions or concerns. Overall 5 stars, we’d definitely come back!

Disappointed that the ice maker didn't work. Had to buy ice. From our standpoint, age in mid eighties, grab handle in shower would be appreciated for safety.

The location of this unit is amazing with beautiful views and a very convenient unit for family and kids. However, the place is outdated and the owners should definitely give it a face lift. We had multiple friends stay in other units at the Papakea which were a lot more updated and modern and offered a much nicer, cozier setting. This unit, although big. feels almost like 2 separate places vs feeling like a cozy large 2 bed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very relaxing, beautiful stay at the Condo. Listening to the waves hitting the wall was so relaxing and too be able to hear those waves splashing against the wall at night in the bedroom, made you fall asleep. A few things we would recommend, would be another TV in the other bedroom, change/update the other 2 TV's and repair the screen doors and entry door. Other than that, it was the most amazing vacation. We did the sunset Whale watching excursion, saw 7 whales and got amazing videos, by far the best excursion we went on. We went to a Luau, also great. We also took the 3 hr rainforest/waterfall excursion. We spent a lot of time at the resort, because of the beauty and relaxation. We saw many rainbows. We went to Front street a couple of times. We ate at Java Jazz (loved it there) we also ate at Kimos on Front St. We ate outside at the Westin, but mostly we ate at the Condo, because I love to cook. Last meal before our flight we ate at the Marco's Grill and Deli, which was also great, near the airport. The people in Hawaii, were very friendly and courteous. We will return!

I hesitate to write a flattering review of a place we so desperately want to book again and again in the future, but this place just blew each one of us away. First, the owners thought of everything. We wanted for nothing around the condo, which was well maintained and completely equipped for our stay. The accommodations were superb, but oh my, did that ever pale in comparison to the view from the condo. Breathtaking, it was. With a view of Molokai directly across from you and easy access to the beach, you will fall in love with this place. Add to that the proximity of the pool (no more than 30 feet away), sunsets over the Pacific from your patio, and a beautifully cared for resort, and you will never want to stay anywhere else on Maui. We’ll be back. No doubt about it.
