This home is the perfect place for our family. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the dock on the canal in the mornings, and relaxing with a glass of wine in the evenings on the rocking chairs on the back porch. Having a place to have our boat was a huge plus! Beds were comfortable and they provided everything you needed for a perfect stay. Not one detail that wasn’t thought of! Crystal always communicated and very attentive to anything we needed. We will definitely be back.

i've stayed in a lot of vrbos and airb&b's. this one was by far the best one ever. Absolutely perfect, Beautiful place, breath taking views, great out door space, close to every thing . Every thing about this property was top notch quality and there was no detail unthought of, and host was amazing. Worth every penny. This property is on a whole different level.

I cannot imagine being more pleased or amazed with this property, every detail had been taken into consideration. The house was comfortable, immaculate and exactly as advertised concerning space and accomodations. The outside deck and the dock were our absolute favorites. It was very spacious and well laid out so that everyone could do what they wanted from reading in the library, putting puzzles together in the sunroom or playing board games at the dining room table.

I make the trip to this area annually and this was by far the best reservation for a family possible. The house was well maintained and literally had everything a family could need. It is possible to check in and not leave throughout the stay. The hosts went over and beyond to ensure the stay was great. I could not have asked for more. There was access to a private beach, activities inside and outside for kids and adults, and the view in the backyard was amazing. We tried to think of some complaints, we don't have any! Each time I plan to come to the area, I will check to see if this location is available.

We had a wonderful stay at this waterfront house! The owners are so communicative and welcoming, they even allowed the use of their own personal treehouse for our boys right next door! The house comes with everything you'll need for your beach trip - towels, beach bag, toys, toiletries, kitchen essentials, the works! Everything was very clean and anything we needed was available. The backyard/dock area is a great perk of staying slightly off the beach. A few things to note: The house is on the sound side, so it is a short walk to the beach or a 2min drive with a swipe card that they provide so parking is free. The pullout bed in the office room is a small futon that easily fit our 5yo son, but would not be suitable for a medium/large adult. It is appropriate to sleep one small adult or one child. Lastly, the dining room table is on the smaller side and only has 6 chairs. Not a problem for us, we brought our own folding table and folding chairs, but just be mindful if you plan to have a sit down dinner with your full group.

Spent the weekend here to celebrate my daughters birthday. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The home is spacious and somehow still fits everything you could want/need for your trip. My favorite part was sitting on the back deck in the evenings. The calm sound side was the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. Crystal was so very accommodating the entire stay. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend with family. Looking forward to many more stays!

We enjoyed a visit with family who were staying nearby. All amenities including the beach access were incredible. The morning views on the canal were absolutely stunning, and the dock is a nice little area to relax and fish. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. We highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time reuniting with our family this past weekend. The house was beautiful, we had comfort and peace. Loved being on the water with a short distance to the beach and sound. The house had everything we needed and we cooked a great meal together. It was revitalizing to our souls! Thanks to the wonderful family who offered their home that was our home for a few short days. Our only regret was we couldn’t stay longer. Thanks from the Cox family.

My husband and I were able to take my parents and three young adults for a short trip for my niece's graduation. We use rental homes most times on vacation, and I have to say this was the most well-stocked house that I have ever stayed in! The kitchen and bathroom had items that I did not even know that I needed. The fishing dock was both large and new and perfect for several people to fish at the same time. The owners even provided a crab trap. We caught a few crabs and cooked them up for lunch. One of my sons used the paddle board, and he had a lot of fun paddling the canal. The walk to the beach was easy, and the beach was quiet and beautiful. Would recommend this vacation home to anyone looking for a house in the Pine Knoll Shores area!

We had a wonderful stay. The home was extremely clean and cozy. The home is in a great location- quiet, peaceful, and the most amazing back yard. Everything we needed was available and it was apparent that the owners’ thought through all the details. The amenities exceeded our expectations. We love to travel all over and we have stayed in many locations and have to say that this home is the most well thought out for guest needs and wants we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend as none of my group wanted to leave on checkout day.

My parents and adult children enjoyed this house so much. As a person who has rented vacation homes frequently, this was the house with the most stocked cabinets ever! Anything that we needed was there including a crab pit with crabs for us to cook!
