Il faut que le client soit clairement averti qu'il réserve une cabane-tente et non pas une chambre

L'emplacement de la tente, près de la rivière, avec le chant des oiseaux est excellent. Mais il faut que la température dans la tente soit agréable.

Je pensais réserver une chambre dans un établissement "en dur" , avec climatisation, et nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une cabane-tente, dans laquelle il faisait au moins 30° à 16h. Le court orage de fin de journée a rafraîchi la tente et sauvé notre nuit qui s'est finalement bien passée, à notre grand soulagement. L'affichette nous offrant une bouteille de vin en échange d'un 10 sur Booking nous a choqués.

L’emplacement est top. Le dîner était vraiment très fin et délicieux.

Coole Location für Kurzaufenthalt

Die Servicemitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und nehmen jede Anfrage ernst. Die Lage ist unweit vom Felsbogen, eigener Kanuverleih. Frühstück teuer aber gut.

Zu wenig Abstellmöglichkeiten, statt des riesigen Raum wo nur das WC eingebaut ist, lieber einen Schrank einbauen. Keine Klimaanlage, sonst gut ausgestattet.

Adequate

location was stunning

we had a problem with a blocked sink, which should have been picked up when the room was cleaned, also stupid basin size, to use it you ended up splashing water all over the floor

Lovely spot, fab bungalow; very rude manageress.

Wonderful location on the banks of the river and super 'african safari lodge' type accommodation.

I am sorry to say but the staff and maitre d' were very unfriendly and insulting. On arrival I requested a key for the lock on our door and was told they did not need to be locked and important/valuable items etc be placed in my car overnight (which is in a carpark near the entrance some 30 yards from the bungalow). My questioning and displeasure was met with disdain. Not satisfactory. Then there was a confusion over the booking of a kayak for the next morning; I had booked some two weeks previous and there was a conversation with a waitress re the start timing which didn't suit my onward travel plans. To be able to meet those I said I needed to check with other providers but could I keep the booking open for now and confirm at dinner. This I was told would be Ok. When I returned at dinner to confirm the original booking I was told that I had cancelled earlier and it had now been filled by another party. There ensued a conversation with the maitre d' which was ended by her saying 'I could leave the establishment now or accept and she would serve me dinner' ! Next morning there was a further confrontation after we had accepted an offer from a neighbouring table to finish their breakfast offering if we wished - yoghurts and some fruit. On checking out I was told I had been rude and taken foodstuffs I was not entitled to. On explaining I was told this was typical of the English and on protesting and saying I was Irish she said 'even worse' (and no I am not making this up !) So such a shame that a beautiful place is managed so badly.

Amazing quiet location on the gorge and so worth paying for superior hotel room with modern showe

Amazing location overlooking the gorge which is just 2 mins walk to their own beach. Kayaks going by and very quiet. Recommend ordering the large breakfast which was good choice and dinner can be ordered too. they can organise kayaking for you which is a must do. Just take repellant if the mosquitos like you. Great for dogs as our loved the balcony overlooking the gorge and swimming.

Mosquito spray for rooms or plug in devices would be a good idea and help as I got quite bitten

calming, very well integrated into the landscape. The perfect way to experience the Ardeche

It is the location which is second to none. the timeless forested cliff you look out to with the wonderful private beach along the river. so close to Pont D'arc and the town too. it was great that we were able to book Kayaking through the lodge and they dropped us off and picked us up too. only small comment is that the staff and manager were hard to find sometimes but very attentive when you did.

We would definitely revisit for longer

The view from our accomodation was just lovely. We sat on our own private terrace and watched the wildlife and the scenery light changing and then the stars.

Very good

Great location and good food. The owners were really helpful and gave lots of good tips, including an incredible hike. Direct access to the river was lovely and great for the dog.

Bathroom could be improved - particularly sink and shower.

The picture of the room did not match of what we have booked. they put the picture of the big lodge of 30m2, but we got the 20m2 lodge. i dont like when they lie about the room. i would not have booked this room. also the bed was very small...

Free choice for breakfast and Diner place…very easy and leasure, it felt very private. The terrace and the view to the river were georgeous - so was my morning swim in silence with great nature surroundings😊 Parking assistance and the friendly welcome.

Still too much waste at breakfast and terrace menu. A second coffee for breakfast would have been nice…😊

Very good

Great location, situated by the river in the Ardèche gorge. Each of the lodges has its own terrace. The lodges are spacious and comfortable. It’s a lovely tranquil place where you can relax and reflect.

The slopes down to the lodges were quite steep, some travellers may require assistance with luggage. We stayed late summer and there were quite a lot of wasps each time we ate, whilst it’s to be expected if you really don’t them you probably want to know this.

It was quiet in the evening. The lodge, we stayed in, was well situated in green in the morning. We slept well Staff is helpfull

The price-quality was really not okay, it was all marginal. The lodge was not very clean, the towels were worn out, the floor was not clean, glass on the floor, the blanket was dirty. The whole was a bit out dated. The table in the badroom felt almost apart, etc., etc. The photo’s on the web do not express reality. For this price and the way you have this lodge on the web, it suggests far more luxury then there is. For 200 euro’s per night for a “family”lodge you may expect a bit more. Suggestion; small refridgerator?

Superb

View was fantastic, and the facilities are beautifully designed. Hosts were welcoming and professional.

We stayed in a terrace room, and the soundproofing was somewhat weak. We could hear the person in the room next to us talking on the phone for hours, which kept us awake. Other than this, an exceptional place to stay.

Fantastic location, room missed some points

Great location overlooking the Ardeche. Feeling of tranquility and privacy. Nice room with great terrace.

The room missed some points in regards to the price. A toilet paper holder was missing, hands could not be properly washed due to misplacement of the water tab. Staff was not very service minded. But we just left very service-minded Spain, which could have influenced our feelings.

A great experience in all comfort - feeling like in Afrika or Jungle.

You feel like in an Afrikan or Jungle Lodge, calm and with a very friendly service - we would do it again !

In the evening it can become cold in the huts (radiator on demand?) and you should consider something against mosquitos (spray or plug ?).

Nice stay in original accomodation, close to the Ardeche river. Large private terrace. Friendly staff. Pity I could be there not longer than 1 night....
