This place was a fantastic little stone Cottage with a rustic feel in the beautiful mountains..... it was very comfortable and well-equipped and the bed was extremely comfortable and I had a wonderful night sleep. The shower pressure and temperature was also more than adequate and the place was very clean and quiet.... views were also magnificent..... although the staff barely knew a few words of English that didn't matter because we were able to communicate fine and this is Italy after all and it wouldn't hurt for us to brush up on a few Italian words as we expect people to do when we have them visit our English speaking countries, like Australia, where people get charted and called all sorts of derogatory terms if they can't speak English. I love this place and I cannot find any fault.... it is exactly what I was hoping for when I booked it.... there is a swimming pool on the premises which they clean regularly as well in case you need to take a dip in the summer heat :-) and breakfast was also more than adequate and I left there with a very full stomach. In particular there is a jam tart that they cut up into little pieces and this is absolutely delicious as is their cake. The results of bacon and scrambled eggs and other kinds of assortments including yogurt. But the suites, they are in amazing Italian style.....
I cannot find any fault

Good choices of food.
We arrived when we said we would yet no one was there. By luck fellow guests were walking around and informed us we had to call the hostess, so we used the guest’s phone, as we did not have the phone number.
Not a good beginning to our visit.

it was comfortable❣️
I was under the impression we would be staying in the Villa not out the back in rooms.

We randomly came across this beautiful unspoilt property. We loved the room and looked out over the land. There was a small but nice pool with loungers. We also sat outside our room in the lounge seats provided. We had a kettle and fridge. It was a wonderful hideaway and the dinner was really nice. So was the breakfast. All so good and the charge was very reasonable
Nothing really. There were mosquitos but we were given spray and all was good

Nice villa with spacious gardens, big apartments, and a very nice family staff. You can hang around the pool, explore the surrounding nature, make trips to Abruzzo mountains, or to the sea. The hosts (family) were nice and cooked as great meals, and offered great wine. Everything was reasonably priced and felt like a good value for the money. There was a private parking and a nice patio where we sat in the evening. It’s useful if you speak some Italian, as most of the staff (and folks in this region) don’t speak other languages (but that’s ok, I consider that authentic ;))
I wish there were a bit more vegetables and healthy options for the breakfast.

Nice and clean
Good dinner for 20 eur
Swimming pool (small but fine).

Location close to Volto Santo (1 minute walk!!!) , nice spacious rooms , huge garden, nice view from terrace.
1. Swimming pool was out of service - the cleaning machine was broken and although it was very hot weather they didnt clean it by themselves with a traditional net & some hygiene chemicals, which was possible but they just didnt bother. In the price access to the swimming pool was included. So we paid for something we didnt get.
2. Night silence was being disrupted by incredibly loud party organised in the property for people from outside of the hotel. Fortunately they ended a bit earlier after our intervention as it was impossible to fall asleep :/
3. Only sweet breakfast (several cookies) , no option even like simple egg & bread.

the staff were brilliant - the food quite exceptional Abruzzo cuisine - not quite so good when the cook had been concentrating on Signora's dinner party - they should have served us the same!
owners weren't as welcoming as they might have been - swimming pool isn't great being plastic & relatively small

The main residence is a lovely old villa - full of charm and characterful. The dining room was beautiful and quiet. The service at breakfast and dinner was especially appreciated, with warmth and charm.
Lovely spacious room with good air conditioning. Good, clean adjoining bathroom.
We enjoyed our evening meals which were not expensive and the wine was excellent.
A tranquil, relaxing place with an ancient village nearby in the hills with lovely views - 4 nights in all - we would definitely return.
The pool was very small, but it was hot so good to cool off in. The area around the pool and garden furniture needs a little attention.

I love this place and have stayed here several times. It is a short walk to the basilica which houses the Veil of Manoppello, an important relic that has the face of Jesus on it. It is family owned, and Emanuele Pardi is kind, welcoming and helpful. He even managed to arrange dinner for us at the last minute - for an amazing 20 euros each for three beautiful courses. It's in a lovely setting with views of the surrounding hills and countryside. Breakfast is simple continental, but nicely presented with home made jams. It's a wonderful place and I always look forward to being there! It always feels like a special treat, and so reasonably priced.
The only thing I would warn about is that if Emanuele is not there, the woman who served us and checked us out the next morning did not speak a word of English and was hard to communicate with (and not friendly about it). So if you have no Italian language skills, make sure you communicate with Emanuele in English for anything you may need beforehand.
