We really enjoyed our stay in Gull’s Nest. The cottage is cosy and comfortable. Very close to good eating places. We managed very well but it is a pity the shower facility is not more conventional. Other than that - perfect.

This little cottage was so lovely! Spotlessly clean, it had everything we needed for our short stay. The beds were comfortable and rooms were light and airy. It is only a short walk to the harbour and all the shops. Across the street from the cottage is the community hall where the farmers’ market and craft fairs were held. We would highly recommend this vacation property. When you’re in the area, don’t hesitate to go to Manick Theatre and to the beach/museum in Porthcurno. Hiking around Land’s End had spectacular views!

We were so happy to have a comfortable cottage to stay in for our 6 days in Mousehole. The cottage had dishes and pots and pans for cooking. I love to cook but since it was a warm weather period and the Aga was turned low it was hard to remember to preheat the cooker I'm not familiar with. It was nice to have a patio with a clothesline to dry our clothes. And the bed was very comfortable. Barbara the owner was so helpful. We would stay here again if we return to Cornwall.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in Mousehole. Exceptionally clean, comfortable, with all required appliances. About 30 seconds to the harbour, couldn't have wished for a better place to base ourselves for our Cornwall holiday.

Absolutely fabulous! The host had thought of everything. Beautiful cottage in a brilliant location.

We found Gulls nest to be a great location for Mousehole and as a base it had some really good points. There is a really good selection of DVDs and board games for early mornings and rainy days and the scones,jam and milk were really welcome treats. However the cooking facilities let the property down, we didn't know in advance to turn the oven on for over an hour to reach temperature and with check in being late afternoon we were not expecting it to take nearly 90 minutes to cook our pizza and the hob to make soft bacon. The property also has a small bath which for my 9 year old son and myself was perfect but the teenagers found it too short and the shower is hand held with nowhere to rest it whilst washing-not able to stand up in the bath. The extra mattress in the floor made for a really good use of the space and my eldest daughter loved being in her own space, this was a really clever use of the space. It was a really pleasant surprise that there was a dishwasher and washing machine that were used and the fire was a really strong bonus. Gulls nest is a perfectly located twee holiday home and if we had been aware of the oven and lack of hob facilities we could have been better prepared.

Amazing cottage with everything needed. Extra touches and decor superb. So close to the harbour. Highly recommend. Our family visiting from Australia were mesmerised by the cottage and Mousehole itself.

Lovely stay

The cottage was warm, clean, well equipped and ideally situated a stone’s throw from the harbour. We had everything we needed, there was loads of hot water and we felt very much at home. Barbara was really helpful before and in the day of our arrival

The pictures don’t do it justice, the decor and overall look is gorgeous. 30 sec walk to the harbour, lovely little garden, beds are so comfy and the cottage was spotlessly clean. Lovely week!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gulls Nest, the property is lovely and in a brilliant location. The car park opposite can be a bit noisy at times with events, but this didn't detract from our stay.

My family and I stayed at this cottage for 3 nights end of June. I cannot express enough how beautiful the cottage and Mousehole is. The harbour really is a 2 minute walk away. The cottage was clean, cosy and charming with lots of added touches by Barbara to make you feel welcome. We all would happily stay there again. The only criticism would be the parking, but that is because we have three children and needed to unpack and pack the car on a few occasions for arrival /days out and departure etc. The cottage is on a steep narrow road and parking outside the cottage can block other cars coming down the road, (who want to get in to the permit car park opposite). So you don't have long to leave it there before either a car comes or a resident has a pop for leaving it in the permit only car park. The booking made it very clear there was no parking at the cottage, so its not anyones fault but ours. We still made it work and it didn't change the positive experience we had staying there.

We enjoyed our stay at Gulls Nest. It was a one minute walk from the harbour. The cottage is well equipped, but quite small. I think a family may struggle slightly. The bathroom is located on the ground floor which was unexpected but not really a problem. The courtyard was a lot smaller than what we had expected from the photos, not really useable. We enjoyed the scones that were kindly left for us. Thank you. Overall a nice holiday with fantastic weather.

Excellent location for exploring Mousehole and the surrounding area - we didn't need to take the car every day and, when we did go out in the car, we didn't need to travel far to visit sites of interest. Good restaurants in the village and excellent bus service (even running on Sundays!) to Penzance.

Just back from a week in Gull Cottage and had a lovely break. This cottage is perfectly located with quick access to the harbour. Have friends living in the area and on visiting us they too loved the cottage.

A beautiful Mousehole cottage, cozy full of character and well presented. The upstairs is spacious for 5 but the downstairs is tight. There were 4 adults, we had to rotate the table 90 degrees to all sit around to eat and put it back to make space the rest of the time. The large sofa is comfortable for 2, but a squeeze for 3 and with only one other comfy chair there was not really enough comfy seating for 4 adults. The kitchen has an amazing stove and the outside seating is private and a real bonus. Tucked away in a quiet yet central location it’s a very private place.

Everything was perfect, from location to beautiful cottage. Simple, effortless booking process. Communication with the host was easy & Barbara was very accomadating.
