We love staying at this property for the 4th every year…..we were raised in the bay and look forward to coming back every year! The downstairs is perfect for having friends and family together in the evenings when we return from the beach! The house is clean and convenient to everything we do there!

Property was close to everything, beach, eateries, grocery store. It was VERY CLEAN! Very well equipped with anything you could need or want. Property manager was very nice and even went and picked up propane for us. We will definitely try to get this property again.

The house was lovely with lots of thoughtful touches that made our stay very enjoyable. Last night, I enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the frogs sing and watched heat lighting cross the coastal skies in this charming neighborhood. The historic town of Bay St. Louis is nice too. Try the Mockingbird Cafe for breakfast.

We had a wonderful weekend! The house was absolutely perfect for our group. Enjoyed the quaintness of the location. First time to this area. First time to Bay St. Louis, will definitely be back.
Will stay here again for sure!

Since I have family near the property and love "The Bay", we plan to return to this home whenever we go to BSL! So roomy, clean and in a quiet area!! A perfect screened porch!

This is a mixed review I’ll start off with the house. I would give the house a 8 out of 10, it was very clean and very nice the only complaints with the house is that the internet didn’t work and tried to text the manager to see if we could reset the router somehow and never got a response. The only other complaint which isn’t a biggie but the master bathroom shower made a very loud noise while showering loud enough to be heard in other bed rooms. Overall the house itself is very well put together and very nice. If you are a family looking to go and hang out with friends that have children under 12 this house is not for you. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed on the property at all. We had friends staying in the same area and we had to go to there house to grill because they have smaller children. I’m sure it is an insurance thing and if so that would be the best way to put it out there. If so I could understand that but just to be told no children under 12 in a mainly family vacation area didn’t make much since seeing as how the renter is responsible for any damages if that is the case.

What a lovely place, this essence of a jewel within a jewel is. An endearing spot to put your feet up and enjoy your quiet morning coffee accompanied by birdsong as the sunrise makes its way in. In the afternoon, one could be enchanted to just sit a spell in the filtered shade of the oak trees that surround the property and if the filter does quite do it, just make your way to the relaxing and sufficiently appointed screened-in porch with a lovely ceiling fan overhead to pick up the flow. With your favorite book and a Mississippi sweet tea, enjoy the gentle breezes that filter up from the gulf a few blocks down the majestic road, an easy stroll to the beautiful water that rides into the bay. The upstairs porch with ample rockers is just where you want to be to take in the saunter of quiet traffic through the neighborhood, some in baby strollers, some on bikes, others walking, and of course, the occasional symphony of cars gliding through. The Patio beneath is inviting for TV watching or playing games or relaxing in the hammock, and bikes are available for your use. The home itself is well outfitted with just about anything you could need. Well equipped, very clean, and nicely attired. The beds were restful. There was plenty of space, and the seating was also comfortable.
Instant Hot water Great! I really don't have any complaints. But open constructive analysis. The washer and dryer are loud and both off-balance, making them even louder. The deck underneath could use more attention to cleaning, as well the railings and bikes are a little rusty. I would have enjoyed using the Sonos system if it was connected, but it wasn't a big deal. And one thing in particular, Mr. Manieri was lovely and a wonderful and attentive host; he was great. But, I do wish there was contactless check-in; it's just more seamless and more sanitary. I had explained that my husband was fraile, so his southern hospitality, though well-intentioned by walking through the home unmasked, delayed significantly my husband's ability to enter the home as we had to then extend the time ventilating and disinfecting before he could enter or even remove his and our masks. I'm sure he just forgot. But, it's one thing that really should be considered as an option for those who need it. We enjoy hospitality for sure, but health is paramount. Thankfully we all are just fine. You really can't appreciate the house if you don't understand the feeling that accompanies it! The entire area ❤

Property was amazing! Very peaceful neighborhood that's close to the beach.
Property manager met us at the house and was very informative of all the things to do and places to eat around Bay St Louis. We had a great time and will be back again in the future!

This trip was the third time my husband and I have stayed at Southern Tranquility, and it was just as wonderful as the first. Thanks so much for maintaining the property at such a high standard and for providing everything we need and more. We will be back soon.

Beautiful home and peaceful neighborhood. We enjoyed our weekend. Downstairs area was great for grilling and patio furniture was very comfortable. Property Manager, Joey Maneri was GREAT! We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful property. Sheets were gross. Tubs were not clean. Towels and wash clothes were dyed, so while taking a shower we noticed the blue dye all over the floor.
Cameras all over the exterior of the home, with rules of don’t move porch furniture, no smoking outside, no profanity. It all seemed a bit extra…. And made us uncomfortable doing anything at this property…..
