Very comfortable and out of the way

The property was easy to get to and the space was clean. The hosts was really attentive and provided great instructions. The only doenside was the construction happening in front of the entrance. Really hard to dropoff and to get in the area.

The studio was very clean, nice and comfortable. Clean building, street parking was not an issue. Would definitely stay there again

We had the gallery apartment at the Civic. There neighborhood was quiet and there was a nice convenience store nearby to get any basic necessities and groceries. It was a great space, plenty of room and airy with high ceilings like that of a loft style apartment. Amenities in the kitchen were plentiful and even some basic ingredients like butter and salt were provided. My only negative point would be that the blinds are quite see through and if your windows face the street, it can be quite bright still and made it harder to fall asleep.

The building itself was recently renovated inside with new decor and modern furnishings. There is a brewery with good food right downstairs in the same building and they have a beer garden/gated patio area. The rooftop terrace is only accessible until until 5pm, we were the only ones on the rooftop on a Friday around 4:30pm. We didn’t see a single person using any of the common spaces on our floor 3 or the main lobby floor and it seems the building is largely empty of permanent tenants. There is not always a person at the lobby desk. We mostly encountered short term visitors. The subway is a block away but the surrounding area feels largely abandoned with not much activity and not many people walking around. The street was littered with trash blowing around. Building right across the street is gutted and being renovated. The parking lot is a stone gravel lot across the street from the building but you must drive around the block to access the entrance. Overall the stay was fine, nice studio apt. I was in Philly for a conference downtown and my husband was with me for the weekend. Building interior was new. No shampoo or body wash provided though it was on the listing, and only 1 wash cloth. The ac and fan worked great and there was a smart tv and table and 2 chairs. Nice new kitchen amenities and full fridge was a plus. Overall building was very quiet with some noise from the streets. Would stay here again as the price was very affordable.

The location was excellent but the parking entrance was difficult to find and access, however once found all was well.

We liked that the property was close to downtown. We had the plesure of eating at the joint below and the food was delish. The apartment is spacious enough to accomodate 7 people. Thanks to the host for allowing us to stay and enjoy his apartment.

To start off this place is located in a terrible neighborhood. Everything from the staff to the property and to hotels.com were horrible . First night my private parking was taken and the solution I was given was you can pay park 10 blocks away. The handicapped spots are not available because they are private. Next the shower was clogged and water puddling up enough to cover my feet. (No pictures sorry I don’t shower holding my phone). When I called hotels.com about the shower I was told to go talk to guy downstairs at the desk. Only problem was that he was outside smoking In order to cover the stench of alcohol coming from his breath. So he was no help, he couldn’t even figure out how to check us in. The internet didn’t work so no tvs were working. When I called about that again I was told to go speak to the drunk guy downstairs.Forget about sleeping because the noise that comes in thru windows form the cars racing by or the drunk hobos singing or the police and ambulances every 10 minutes it’s impossible.I could on and on but point is this place is horrible!!!!!

The apartment was very nice, but the outside noise was a huge issue - traffic & pedestrian sounds, and music from the bar below the unit, were all very loud and kept us awake most of the night.

Had a great stay here. Parking in a lot right across the street. Easy check-in and entry into the unit. Very clean and comfortable studio apt. Good food options in walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed the apartment amenities. Very convenient to get to and from the convention we were attending for a very resonable price

My kids would call this place sus. As in not quite legit. First of all the neighborhood is sketchy. We live in Detroit and like grit . This is more than that . An armed guard with a machine gun at the local gas station at 7 pm. Just sayin’. The parking lot across the street is strewn with garbage and not fully asphalted. The building is a cheap renovation of a cheap school or industrial building with cheap and frankly ugly furniture and decor. The main areas in each floor and the elevators smell like weed . Frankly , it is low rent housing that someone is using as an investment. Not only is it not legit overnight rental , it feels potentially unfair to people who might need to rent the places .
The room itself , once we made it through the parking, neighborhood and common area , was fine . Clean and well equipped for what it was. Only 2 towels with no access to more .
Overall, i dont think it should be listed on Hotels.com, is not worth the price and i discourage others from renting .

Floor outside of door was soaked and there was a barrel with stagnant water. The entire hallway smelled horrible. The microwave did not work either, so we were unable to reheat our food. The shower was not cleaned and the toilet seat was broken. Overall, this was not a great experience for us.

Apt was as pictured the 5 of us were very comfortable, had all the necessities in the kitchen/ bath; plenty of linens. Intern went out and our host is super responsive to msg and we figured out what was wrong right away; would come back

The Apartments are really good value for money and ideal for groups wanting to share communal spaces.
The surrounding area isn’t the best & the games room needs refreshing as everything is looking old & ruined.
The golf simulator was fun.
And the bar adjoined to the Civic is really good too, lots of drinking options, great food & brilliant staff.

I requested to keep my luggage few hours as I finish my congress at noon but nobody listened to me neither the manager no the cleaner no the concierge.
I ve spent my waiting time to flight rolling my luggage...
I think for the money you have gotten for five days , you can do more effort .
Globally, I m not happy

The location with free parking and easy access to public transport was great. It was a mini apartment with full kitchen and washer and dryer. So happy that we found it.

Our stay worked out great. The apartment was nice and clean. It was a neutral location to everything that we needed to do. It included parking so there wasn’t any up charges. Front desk concierge very helpful. We would definatly stay there again.

Overall a very good option for staying in Philadelphia. Communication somewhat confusing as The Civic and Orbitz aren't on the same page concerning check-in, and security deposit. The parking lot is also confusing as nothing was required to show that my vehicle belonged in the lot, and you don't want to get towed away in Philly. However, the building and room are secure and clean. I would stay here again.

The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and had everything I needed. The locked front entry made me feel safe and comfortable for a nice rest each night.

I stayed at the apt while my daughter was at her Freshman orientation and Saint Joseph University. Parking was right across the street and I felt safe (to me the MOST important thing). Liz and Mike were great with their communication!
