Heimaleiga CS did not send access information prior to our arrival to Iceland. It took many attempts on chat and a phone call (adding an expense of international calls). The access code to the building that houses the luggage storage was never given until our last day after numerous chat attempts and additional phone calls. All we wanted was to store our luggage and enjoy the city, as we had time before and after the check-in and out time. This was an important amenity to book with them.
When we finally accessed the apartment, it was NOT the apartment that we booked. Additional chat messages and phone calls to inform the owner and VRBO that we were given a different apartment went unanswered.
I would NEVER recommend SIF Apartments, Heimaleiga CS and future bookings with VRBO will be made with caution.
Iceland is Beautiful and I would definitely recommend traveling there!

This was a great place to stay to explore the city on foot. We easily walked to most of the places we wanted to go during our stay. I would stay here again if we come back.
Only annoying part of our stay was that an hour before checkin I received an email saying I had to email a photo of my ID and booking credit card before I could get the door code information. I was fine with the additional security but since I didn’t know about having to do this ahead of time it delayed our check in time because I had to do this in the car outside the apartment. Also the kitchen has sparse kitchen items so you may need to buy things like oil if you need it for cooking.
Overall a great experience with a family and young child!
