Classic, cozy, and comfortable, this Cannon Beach home is a delight to return to after days spent surfing, beachcombing, or hiking the rugged and beautiful Northern Oregon Coast. Enjoy two levels of deck space where you can breathe in the ocean air and a gas fireplace to toast your toes once the sun goes down.
This two-story home sits one block east of the Oregon Coast Highway in Cannon Beach, just half a mile from the Tolovana Beach State Recreation Site. It's a wonderful location close to the center of town but not in the thick of it, with all sorts of restaurants, breweries, shops, and art galleries within a two-mile radius. If you're looking to get out and explore, Arcadia Beach (two miles), Hug Point (three miles), and Oswald West and Ecola State Parks (five miles) are all close by.
With decks out front, in back, and upstairs off the primary bedroom suite, this home offers no shortage of outdoor space for morning coffee and sunset meals. There's a gas grill for summer barbecues and a dining table on the main-floor deck.
The living space is awash with sunlight, thanks to large windows and lofty ceilings. Flip on the fireplace, choose a movie to watch on DVD or streaming services, and set up a board game at the dining room table. There's even high-speed WiFi to help you track the surf report, a private washer/dryer for your swimsuits and towels, and a full bathroom to pair with each of the bedrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs).

The location of this small cottage was excellent. The neighborhood is friendly. The cottage needs upgrades, however. We had to have the shower head replaced and the fireplace never worked even after sending someone to fix it. There are way too many little figurenes and stuffed animals which created a cluttered feeling. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses and silverware. The spices were limited and very old. There are two large cassette players which are ver dates and take up a lot of space. The flatscreen tv downstairs is very small. The upstairs tv is very old as well as the vcr player.
This place needs some updating.

This little home is so well equipped with everything one could need as well as clean throughout. The decks also add more space for lounging and feeling the ocean air. It’s a perfect place for a small family or a few girlfriends to go have a fun week away.

I love the upper bedroom and the upper deck that leads out. The beds are very comfortable. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Quiet street. Had an Elk right by the house. Even through it rain most of the time, we still had fun.

We enjoyed our stay at this Cannon Beach cottage. It is in a lovely, friendly neighborhood very close to the beach where Haystack Rock is located. It's also close to the town so dining out is easy with many choices. The house itself is well equipped with a good selection of pots, dishes, etc. The coffee pot was a bit difficult but there was a small Mr. Coffee that worked fine. It has a few spices but also baggies, foil and plastic wrap which is very nice. Everything works well although we didn't use the TV at all. There are CD's and DVD's which we did use. The lay out worked out well for us because there are two separate bedrooms and bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs). We had a friend visit us for a couple of nights. The front porch is nice for sitting outside to have a glass of wine in the evenings. There is also a gas fire place which we used every day. There is a market 3 minutes away which is good but pretty expensive. We did most of our shopping at Safeway in Seaside which is only 15 minutes away and a larger town. I would highly recommend this rental.
