Located in a lively place with lots of restaurants and bars, and very close to the historic town.
Hotel was modest but had everything you needed: nice room, updated bathroom, air conditioning, and a good breakfast.
Also, very accommodating in that they let us store our bikes in the downstairs area.

Room and bathroom modern and clean. Good location. Very good breakfast.
It was a very hot evening and although there was an air con unit in the room, the controls had been removed. It was impossible to open window as there was a very loud hen party going on till 2.30am right underneath our room which was above the restaurant/bar. Needless to say we didn’t get much sleep. It was a Saturday so maybe weeknights would be quieter.

It was wonderfully situated close to everything. there is a lively cafe below which was nice.
They had a problem with the WiFi the night we stayed there so we had no WiFi all evening and the next day.

The location was very convenient, close to the centre of town and the free parking lot. The room was modern and clean. It was good having a bar and restaurant just downstairs.

clean close to all amenities
the bed was very hard for us and the tv would come on but not go off or change channel
2.5 / 5.0
We chose this hotel as we had visited the restaurant / bar a few times and thought it would be more comfortable than the Ibis, and closer to amenities than the Mercure. It is in the centre of town and the bar is open 7am - midnight. The breakfast was nice (continental with coffee and juice), the bar staff were efficient - not very chatty but served everything efficiently. Food was only served lunchtime and evening - so no food available 2pm - 7pm.
There was a basic coffee tray in the room (1 coffee sachet and 2 sugar sachets), but we could always access drink from the bar.
The hotel staff did reset the room for two people after we had asked for the extra towel, cup and pillows.
The room was advertised at 213 sq ft. It may have been if you include the small bathroom and corridor, but the actual bedroom space was a double bed with a small walkway around it, small wardrobe and desk (you had to move the chair to walk around the bed). I would say the room itself was only about 100 sq ft. We asked for a larger room - we were staying for 4 nights and it was really cramped - but they were already booked.
The shower cubicle was very small (800 x 800) and my husband had to shower with the door open.
This meant that we spent as little time as possible in the hotel room as it was not comfortable for 2 people.
2.3 / 5.0
Bed was comfortable enough, central location and parking outside is free at the weekend.
No proper check in, just given a key and left. Later on when I came back after dinner they asked for payment as nobody is there on Sunday so we had to leave via the fire escape. The Saturday night they had a DJ until 1am I could hear through the floor so difficult to sleep. The shower has no power and is a trickle. Basically this is a bar that tries to do everything rather than focus on doing one thing well.
I wouldn’t stay here again.
