Welcome to Turtle Cove at Lake of the Ozarks!

This stunning lakefront home has been beautifully remodeled with a contemporary and cozy feel. Located at the 18th mile marker of the main channel of the Lake of the Ozarks, this spacious split-level property features everything you'll want in a home away from home. Enjoy incredible lake views from every living space in the home.

The upper level of the home features a large open concept living room, kitchen, island bar and dining area, as well as the Master bedroom suite. The lower level features two more roomy bedrooms, a full bathroom, the laundry room and another large family room with a sleeper sofa.

Both levels of the home offer spacious and relaxing outdoor spaces for everyone to enjoy. Along with plenty of seating, there is an outdoor dining set, fire pit table, BBQ grill, porch swing and a fabulous hot tub overlooking the lake. Enjoy the private dock where you’ll find another swing and a set of wet steps offering an easy swim off the dock. Whether you choose to swim, fish, sunbathe, picnic, catch a water taxi, catch a sunrise or simply enjoy relaxing, you are sure to have a great time!

MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE SPACE
Upstairs you will find the main living room with plenty of comfortable seating, natural lighting, and a large television mounted over an electric fireplace. It is adjoined with the dining area and kitchen and all lead to an open-air deck with the most breath-taking lake views. The kitchen is equipped with new appliances including a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee pot (Keurig pot and drip), pots & pans, dishes, utensils and pretty much anything you’ll need for on-site cooking. There is a dining table and seating around the island, as well as additional seating on the patio. A propane BBQ Grill is available on the deck as well as one propane tank and basic grilling utensils.

The master suite is the only bedroom on the upper level and features a King size bed with lakeside views, TV, dresser, writing desk and a large closet with sitting area, along with an attached bathroom with a large walk-in shower.

The lower level features a spacious family room with power recliners, a sofa sleeper couch, large mounted television, and another electric fireplace. This space opens onto the lower patio and leads to the hot tub and more amazing views of the lake. We’ve also provided movies, books and plenty of games for your enjoyment.

Both the upstairs and downstairs living areas provide plenty of space for one of our two air mattresses (available upon request) for a variety of sleeping arrangements. Please let us know at the time you make reservations if the air mattresses are needed so we can provide the proper bedding required.

A Pack-n-Play is available for the little ones that might be visiting, you’ll just need to bring your own sheets and blankets.

There is a shared bathroom on the lower level that includes a tub/shower combo.

The laundry room, with washer, dryer and utility sink, is located on the lower level. You will find cleaning tools and products as well as a few beach towels (so if you need more than a few, please be sure to pack some extras).

We want to make your stay as convenient as possible. Here are a few things we provide for you:

There is high-speed wireless internet. Both living rooms and the master bedroom include smart TVs with free channels available or you can log into any of your own streaming services. Alexa devices are available to check local weather, find a restaurant or listen to music. A digital link to our welcome guide is provided on-site.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES
In addition to the main deck on the upper level, there is a lower patio area that is covered and still offers the same stunning lake views. Plenty of seating is available, as well as a private hot tub which is professionally serviced between guest visits.

There is a private dock available for guest use but we are located just off the main channel and water can often get choppy and sometimes rough (particularly on weekends or holidays). For this reason we recommend guests do NOT use the boat slip or tie a boat or any watercraft up to the dock during these conditions. Guests are welcome to use the dock for fishing, swimming, lounging or catching a water-taxi but all activities should be enjoyed with rough water in mind and we highly recommend inexperienced or young swimmers wear life vests. Swimming is at your own risk.

We loved staying at this charming property called Turtle Cove. Whimsical turtles were seen throughout the property which added to its appeal. Ultra comfortable beds, everything you could possibly need, and then some. I seriously can't even think of anything negative. We visited in fall, so didn't have any lake issues. We loved the serenity at this time of year, daily sightings of deer families really added that cool factor. We love wildlife, so this was really neat. The squirrels loved your pumpkins unfortunately:) We enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace (it got chilly!), and your bbq grill. Thanks for sharing your lovely home. We hope to visit again.

We enjoyed our time here so much! From the extremely easy check-in to the even easier check-out - this place is top notch! Communication with Lindy was excellent. The signage throughout the house was above and beyond. Everything you could possible want was in this house. And the beds - c'mon, we have all been to these places where you need a chiropractor and a massage when you leave - not here! Absolutely amazing! So clean, so updated, so bright and cheery! The only thing missing in my opinion was a Lilly Pad! The area is pretty much out in the open and a little hard for swimming and staying near your dock. A tied up lilly pad would have made a huge difference. Regardless - we will be back!!!

The owners have done a nice job with updating this property. My family of four were very comfortable here, although larger parties, like 6 or more, might find this property crowded. The inside and outside of the place were very clean. Kudos to the cleaning service. The view from the upper deck was pretty. Lots of boat activity on this holiday weekend. Which actually created a lot of waves on the lake. This property is at the mouth of of small channel. I think this tends to focus some of the waves. We found that the water was so rough during the day that it was uncomfortable to sit on the dock. Also, given the roughness, its a little unsafe to be swimming near the dock area most of the day, especially for younger swimmers. You pretty much need to enter the water from the dock as there is no beach. And i think the water is fairly deep around the dock. So, if you want to swim, you might need to go to a public beach instead. Unfortunately, we did not have a boat, which limited what we could do at the lake. Although if we had a boat, the boat lift was no longer available at the dock. So, coming and going to the property on the boat would have been challenging. Also, future renters should know that there is a toll road ($3 each way) in order to conveniently reach the property. You can avoid the tool and take the long way, but it adds about 30 minutes or so to your drive. Overall, we enjoyed our low-key vacation. It was relaxing and the property was comfortable and accomodating.

The home was gorgeous and equipped with everything we could need. Our family ranged in ages- 37-70, but kiddos could’ve been entertained as well. Great spot on the lake, close to conveniences but far enough away from super loud patty crowds. Hosts were easy to reach if needed.
