It was clean.
We chosed Sea&Garden Villa for 5 nights with the intention to stay one extra night. We were very excited to stay at this place but unfortunately the informations provided on Booking were very different and misleading.
- The beach was very far from our location ( on Booking it's listed as a beach front property with private beach). A 750 meter distance on Google maps is actually a very steap 30 minutes ascending. For a pregnant woman, an elderly person or a family with young children would be very difficult.
- On Booking it says you can park safely at the location which is not the case. The owners car was parked inside the garage/yard and we had to park on a very narrow street full of children playing with sticks and balls.
- Privacy : the apartment did not have a private entrace as listed on the site. The bathroom was outside the room on a hallway with no door. You could not go to the bathroom without the chance of bumping into one of the owners.
- Balcony /Terrace situation : We had a lovely open terrace but my husband was told he was not allowed to smoke there. We were told that smoking only takes place in front of the house. We are educated and respectous people but at the same time as grown-ups on their holiday this was very unpleasant. The balcony was situated outside.
- The interactions with our hosts: It was a very awkward interaction,no smiles,no introductions. We were imediatly asked if we smoke and told in a rude way "My rule". We stayed in many places around the world and I like to believe that if you open your house for tourists or run a rental bussiness you require a certain set of communication skills and a friendly personality.
- There other aspects that I would like to mention like : closing the doors behind us,turning off the lights; it felt like we were children living with our parents.
