It was okay. It smelled like old cigarette-smoke in the room, and the beds where not quite that comfortable.
It lies in a neighborhood with a lot of homeless people, just be aware when booking.

There was some construction in the area that made it loud but that was not the fault of hotel

Budget hotel in the center of Athens near many of the tourist attractions. Walkable to some and near metro or tourist bus for others. Room was small but clean. Small elevator available.
Surrounding area looked a bit run-down, but we didn't have any problems (unlike the tourist we met who was staying at a fancier hotel near a major square and stated that she saw drug users on the street near her hotel). Room was somewhat noisy, but to be expected on the 2nd floor of a city center hotel in a big city.
Staff were not especially helpful. When we couldn't get the AC to work one night, desk clerk had no suggestions, did not offer to take a look at it, or call anyone. We did finally get it working again. Since we were there in the middle of a heat wave, this would have been a bigger deal if we hadn't managed to get it going again. Overall, acceptable hotel for the money to be close to the center of Athens.

Owner is a nice guy. Smelled of zigarettes everywhere

While the hotel and staff were good. The area around the hotel is...well rough. The rooms are loud especially if next to the elevator. The hotel is fine, but not good for kids. My son was so afraid they we had to book another hotel. There was some lady screaming, someone tried to open our door. I would recommend for people use to big city, and noises. But avoid id solo or with kids.

I had made this booking because I needed to spend a night in Athens before continuing on next morning by Train. It is walking distance from Omonia metro station. The area is rundown. I arrived at 1pm (solo female), had no problems with anyone on the street, and left at 6 pm ish. I had a good 5 hour sleep. The hotel itself is budget but customer service was fine. A bit noisy. The shower was a curtained off portion. I would use the hotel when passing through for a couple of hours, not for a longer stay.
3.5
The hotel has definitely seen better days but for a few nights it was fine, clean and convenient. The staff were nice and shops and bars close by.
3.5
Terrible bathroom, no breakfast, not even coffee could be ordered.
The hotel is in one of the worst areas of the city, full with drug addicted people, very unsafe. Only loud and dirty kebab stores atound, not one reasonable restaurant. Never again.

Management was super nice and the location is great, about a 10min walk from Larissis station, plus it's incredibly close to both a laundromat and there are cheap restaurants everywhere. The rooms were pretty solid, shower was hot, ac was quiet and worked very well, we even had a balcony with a table and chairs. Only issue was even though it was a non-smoking room it still smelled slightly like tobacco smoke but it wasn't overwhelming, and you could here traffic just a little bit. All in all would recommend a stay, but the smoke is overwhelming and pretty disgusting. You shouldn’t let others who are killing themselves by smoking, kill other guest who don’t smoke 🚭

The only reason I didn't give a perfect rating is because the shower area is just too small, with a short plastic curtain surrounding the area which means water splashing out into the bathroom floor! Otherwise, I really liked the place (great AC and WiFi), especially the location! It's a short walk to Athen's center, Acropolis, Metro, and everything you want! For short stays, Pergamos is a very reasonable place to stay at!

In a very bad area with graffiti, stripped motorbikes, drug users and general shady looking people! Bathroom was comical in size as door couldn’t shut without banging against toilet seat, shower nearly could fit in! Had to plug in the fridge myself and no adjustments so froze my insulin!
3.5
I wasn’t prepared to have to leave my physical key at the front desk whenever I left. But nothing was stolen and the desk was manned 24/7. Bathroom pictures are deceiving. You are literally standing on the toilet and wrapped in the shower curtain when showering. But for the price it is what it is. The bed so comfortable I wanted to keep it. And it had an ok-ish working AC.

Shower was 2ft ×3ft 2 small to even fart

Nothing at all

The staff was great. The room was basic but clean. Bathroom was newly remodeled. My only complaint is there was some rowdy guests that kept us up at night.

Not a single redeeming quality

P- polite and helpful staff who go above and beyond
E- everything you’d expect from a budget hotel
R- room was spacious, even got a free upgrade!
G- generally good and no complaints
A- a strange bathroom layout - toilet in shower?
M- mediocre location, didn’t feel the safest outside the hotel. A fair walk to the nicer part of the city
O- overall, a pleasant budget hotel
S- slept ok, sometimes loud and pillows lumpy

The reception staff are so helpful especially Niko. The room fridge is a real bonus.

Having in mind this is a 2-star hotel that I booked just for a layover in Athens, I really didn't expect anything special, so everything I actually found, surprised me nicely.
1. A clean, spacious and well maintained room. Even kind of stylish, as photos show. OK, single beds, but clean and comfortable enough.
2. A very friendly service
3. A decent breakfast included in the price
4. Perfect WiFi - better than my probably 10 hotels of quite higher category around the world.
5. Convenient location - less than 10 minute walk from Omonia square and from there - by metro, minutes away from the city centre and many of the top sights in Athens.
3.5
Generally It's a good hotel , prefect price with free breakfast and the location is perfect too for the transport ,that is not far from omonia metro station , the only negative for me was the shower space that is so small , thats it .
3.5

Staff members Niko, Evangelius, and Theodorus were quite helpful and friendly. Save me some time and effort when it came down to moving around town.
3.5
Night staff and cleaners are extremely rude, and the cleaners speak no english so its extremely difficult to communicate with them if you need anything. One of the night staff in particular, an older man, his behaviour was disgusting, the way he was speaking to us and shouting at us when we arrived at 2am, and he told us our room was cancelled and nearly kicked us out of the hotel whilst they had charged us in full for the 3 nights. Rooms are quite outdated and old, breakfast is not worth paying for to be honest, as there are barely anything there and also juice taste like water, but you get what you pay for i guess. If your on a budget and don't mind staying in a rough area of Athens, then this is OK, otherwise if staying with kids especially i would not recommend this hotel at all.
having said this, 2 of the guys in reception during the day were quite friendly and went out of their way to make things comfortable for us, bringing us pillows to our rooms, as their pillows are like sleeping on stones. would not return as there are better hotels in safer areas of Athens, which we figured out afterwards unfortunately.
3.5
it's a dangerous and really dirty area (neighborhood) one of the guys in charge was so rude.
3.5
Budget hotel in a convenient central-ish but somewhat obscure location. Very noisy and somewhat unfriendly neighbourhood with junkies hub and lots of middle eastern males roaming the streets all days n nights long nearby.
3.5
Worst neighborhood I ever stepped a foot in. Impossible to walk around after dark..... The hotel himself is barely ok : 1m square shower, the toughest pillow the world has seen, and a non-edible breakfast. Even though we booked it for 4 nights total, we couldn't stand to stay more than 16 hours and left first thing in the morning.
The AC and wifi are the only good points.
3.5
The Balcony was nice, and the room was clean. The free breakfast was agreeable.
3.5
Basic room, clean and inexpensive. 1-2km walk from most attractions. Watch your belongings in the surrounding neighbourhood.
3.5
The room was very clean, the staffs were friendly and the breakfast was good.
3.5
Very friendly, helpful staff.
3.5
Bad area but ok if not going out on your own , no free tea and coffee apart from at breakfast, breakfast is ok for what we paid , never saw the bar open tried once when we arrived but was told it was closed most of the staff are helpful
3.5
Nice hotel value of money.
3.5
Only one thing good, a staff was nice.
Other staff were terribly rude. Try to not give us the chages even she has. Ordering open the door, show her baggage. She can do herself.
At the Brakefast time asked refill ham another staff n she had no smile, no answer even say OK one lunguage. Room was disappointed we stayed same price n more clean one same area. Subtotal Uncomfortable stay.
3.5
Great value, slightly sketch neighborhood but close to city center, more than adequate facilities, great breakfast, helpful and kind staff.
3.5
Decent budget hotel within walking distance of main attractions.
3.5
Nice roof terrace, helpful staff, quiet despite being on the busy street (5th floor room).
3.5
Found some staff less than helpful, room we were allocated had ants all over the bathroom, we were told to shut the door! We changed rooms, but had to ask. The surrounding area is very unsafe, particularly at night. Overall not a good place to stay, The photo is the street right next to the hotel
3.5
Good location and clean room with friendly staff. The bathroom was very small and the shower while effective was very very small
3.5
They don't seem to like Americans. Horribly rude on the phone. I would stay away from this place.
