About this apartment rental
Manhattan Beach is one of the most charming towns in the US. This incredible apartment is not only right in town and really close to the ocean, it is also super quiet. Recently remodeled, it is spacious, up the street from the beach, and around the corner from incredible restaurants, grocery shopping, boutiques, and the fabulous MB Creamery. Park your car and walk everywhere! Sun and ocean breezes come in throughout the day. You will be calling your friends to tell them about the steal you found in Manhattan Beach. It’s designed specifically to be extremely comfortable for a fabulous getaway.
The apartment has unique amenities. You will have a coveted parking spot right in town (PLEASE NOTE - A LARGE SUV WILL NOT FIT IN THE PARKING SPOT). It's also one of the few places at the beach with air conditioning (Hopefully not needed, but you never know). For kids and adults we have sand toys, boogey boards, beach towels and umbrellas. And of course, the unbeatable location.
This is an apartment to relax in with friends or family. Absolutely no parties whatsoever, or loud noise. Please respect the neighbors.
Note that the unit is on a second story and that it is not handicapped or wheelchair accessible.
Check in is 4pm and check-out is 11am. Key-less entry with an individual code for each guest for optimal safety.

We spent 8 nights at this beautiful Manhattan beach location! Loved every minute of our stay. House was perfect for our family of 5-endless supply of Besch & bathroom towels - essential for our 3boys!! V comfy beds & the location was just incredible. Minutes walk from the beach which was so beautiful -
We went running in the mornings & had lots of sunset swims. We tried a lot of the hosts restaurant recommends. All were great - we adored Martha’s (walk was just beautiful) & Slay Italian. Our host couldn’t have been more accommodating as was the host manager - so kind & helpful with all our requests. Than you Allisen & Claire for everything. We’ll definitely be back . Would highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is well equipped and very clean. It is very close to the beach and all the great restaurants and bars of Manhattan Beach. We can highly recommend staying there!

This was a great little property for our stay, we were in town visiting family. The location is an easy walk downtown and up to our family's house. Property was clean and cozy.
My only reservation was the garage door that is controlled by the other tenants and the opening of the door began at 5:30AM. Other than that - cutest home in a beautiful location, we appreciate the opportunity to stay!

I highly recommend this place. It was perfect within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Grocery store one block away. It was quiet and peaceful.

This was one of the best set up rentals I have ever stayed at! I am a host as well and I even took photos of some of the things that were done in the house that were great ideas! Location is perfect as well. I travel to Manhattan Beach about 3 times a year and will definetly be renting this property again!

This place was everything they said it would be. Our family enjoyed our time staying there. Loved how close the beach was. Super helpful friendly management. Would stay here again.

Can not say enough about how perfect this place was! The location could not have been any better for us- a short walk to town, the beach, and the best restaurants MB has to offer! The owners left no stone unturned- the furnishings were very comfortable and they thought of all the little extras to make one’s stay feel like home away from home!

We loved staying at this property and will definitely be returning! From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm, welcoming, and just right for our family. Allisen, the owner, was incredibly kind, helpful, and reassuring. She and her husband were very thoughtful when putting the apartment together and all the little details made a huge difference during our stay (outlets attached to the wall for easy plug-in access, laundry pods ready for use, beach towels included, TV trays near the kitchen, a few condiments available for use, the right amount of dishes and utensils, comfortable linens, and more). The apartment was comfortable, clean, and very cozy. This property is a gem!

I highly recommend this property.
Its location is superb - a short walk from the beach (towels and chairs provided) and from the cafes, boutiques, restaurants of Manhattan Beach. A well-stocked supermarket (Vons) is literally right around the corner. The apartment itself is immaculate and has superb contemporary decor from hardwood floors to metro tiling.
Our son is currently very interested in sea life and was delighted to see pictures of turtles adorn his bedroom. There are also fascinating historical prints of the area on the stairway.
The apartment is very well equipped with a separate washer and dryer, a large smart TV, microwave, dishwasher and oven.
Less tangible but just as important is the great feel of being in the apartment and clearly the care and thought behind making it so pleasant.
The apartment comes with a car bay -
it is a tight space but it did accommodate our mid size SUV and there is some free street parking too.
We had a self inflicted problem with the electronic lock (a mis-pressed digit) but Allisen was very responsive -
there was a back up plan (a physical key in a key safe) and Allisen also decided to order a brand new (foolproof! ) electronic lock.
In our experience the title 'great apartment' is well justified

I never leave reviews for these things, but golly this was a great property. My family of four comfortably stayed in this place. It was super easy to access, the location was great and walkable to beach and restaurants.
The place was clean and we made use of the included laundry. Nice little get away for us after a water polo tournament.

Location, location, location is absolutely true but it’s way more than that!! The place is immaculate! The beds are comfortable! The TV is huge! The furnishings are sleek! The towels are plush! And it was an added bonus to have access to beach chairs, towels and toys! The host is super attentive to boot. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this apartment and location!

Loved everything about this property. The home is adorably decorated and stocked with everything you could imagine. The location is prime, I thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk to the beach, restaurants and grocery. And working with Allisen was super easy. She's friendly, quick to respond and very kind. Highly recommend this property!

Recently myself & 3 friends stayed at this property. It was an excellent location for us, so close to the main hub of Manhattan Beach. The apartment was very clean, warm and comfortable. There are extra towels, blankets & the kitchen is well -stocked with everything you need. The owner was very friendly & worked in with our early check in. We would love to stay here again in the future. It really made our week to have such a nice place to Stay.

This apartment was spacious and well-stocked for our family of four. The kitchen had lots of great supplies to make coffee, salad etc. and the beach chairs, umbrella and toys were very nice to have. The apartment is very clean and well appointed. The walk to the beach is quick and pleasant through pretty gardens and charming houses. The walk to the shops and restaurants including wonderful gelato was fun and we didn't need a car at all. A very relaxing stay.

This property is exceptional. The apartment itself is pristine. It is very well-equipped so you can walk right in and begin your vacation.
The owners have thought of many, surprising, small details ... there are multi-outlet electrical plugs located at every room where you might want to use or charge your electronics. And, boutique tissue boxes in lovely covers, placed throughout the aprtment. The owners have created an inviting home-away-from home, including various pieces of artwork that add to the ambience that makes it very welcoming.
The Manager is very attentive and is quickly contacted by phone or text. She will respond to your needs very promptly.
I feel I need to mention the stairs. I had initially dismissed the listing because the description mentioned it was on the second floor and stairs can sometimes be challenging for me. However, the stairs are Very Easy to climb. I was there for 2 months and the stairs were Never an issue for me. They are shallow and carpeted, with a handrail, and not challenging. I would not let the second floor location keep you from considering this property.
And, the fabulous location. Your lovely view from the kitchen window is the main street which is 1 1/2 blocks away. This has the definite feel of a beach community so the view of the center of town is charming. Enjoying the morning breeze waft through the open kitchen window is beyond lovely.
This apartment is so wonderful that I already have several reservations for multi-month stays well into 2017. If I could have, I would have stayed longer than the 2 months that I had reserved.

This house is a quick walk to the beach, restaurants and all other shops in Manhattan Beach. Very spacious & accommodating and Allisen was a pleasure to work with. The house itself is very clean and has everything you need to make yourself feel at home. We will definitely be returning to this location when we go back to visit Manhattan Beach.

This rental apartment totally exceeded our expectations. It was larger and nicer than we thought from the pictures. The furniture and accommodations are new and up-to-date and the location can't be beat. We enjoyed walking to downtown MB for coffee every day. Allisen was so wonderful to work with. Can't wait to return!!

Loved everything about this property. The location was perfect. Close to the beach, no real views from the place but walk a couple of block and you're on the beach! Very comfortably furnished and super clean. The only issue is if you have a large car like mine. The parking space is fine for most cars but mine is a bit large and so I had to find parking elsewhere. All that said, THIS is where I will be staying anytime I plan a visit to Manhattan Beach. Pleasure to interact with the owners as well.

We stayed here while visiting family with our 2 toddlers. What a super cozy apartment. Our every need was met. We especially loved having a huge assortment of sand and water toys and gear available for our use. We also appreciated having a grocery store within walking distance; really, everything within walking distance.

My 3 year old is still talking about the green & white house at the beach. My 16 year old got all her shopping in at the boutiques only steps away. If we needed anything to eat or groceries ....Von's is right there. The restaurants are amazing....oops did I forget the beach? The beach is the ultimate & we walked to it everyday (yes it's walking distance). Also to have beach toys on site made me the bestest Mom in the whole world. If I had a vacation home this is exactly what I would have. We had a choice of DVDs to chose from for our one early night in. The home, rooms were meticulous. Washer/Dryer on site allowed us just to bring carry ons. Kitchen has every utensil. Its the first time I experienced VRBO and I can safely say that I would hope to book the same spot next year. Allisen (owner) was a delight to deal with. I also dealt with Claire the property manager and so professional. I left my 3 year loss pillow case(didn't need to bring as they have that covered as well) but he will only sleep with his Charlie Brown pillow case. I left it behind but it was no issue to get it returned. Thanks VRBO, Allisen & Claire for making our vacation one of the best yet for all of us. Here is to making more memories in Manhattan Beach!

We recently occupied this beach rental for a long weekend away from the Chicago weather. This rental was excellent. Clean, comofortable and extremely close to everythin you could possibly need or want on a beach vacation. You are close to fine and casual restaurants and bars. Fine and casula shopping. And of course, the beach. The rental was perfect for my husdand, 2 year son and I. We had a great time and enjoyed the location and unit.

only 2 blocks from the beach and 1/2 block to the grocery store. Easy to find.
We even left a list of eating places in the book for the next people. Would definitely stay there again if we ever came to CA

My sister and I both loved the place. It was perfect for our getaway, very well equipped, clean and had everything we needed, and we could walk to restaurants, stores and the beach. We left a few recommendations for restaurants in the binder, as we had a difficult time deciding where to eat. It would be great to have some specific recommendations available...:) In general, we wanted to spend time together, and this was the perfect spot. Thanks so much to both Allisen and Claire for being so accommodating and making our stay such a pleasure!
