About this house rental
Stay inside a piece of history! This cozy cottage was built in 1856 by the Dutch homesteaders and has been updated to include all modern amenities.

Make yourself at home. I provide everything you need to make your Pella stay memorable! From the moment you pull up, you will see how unique this property is! Sit by the fire pit and enjoy the night sky’s. Or dine out on the patio and listen to the birds sing. This house is close to everything but you feel like you are in your own private sanctuary. The house is right next to Central College, a short walk to the square and just a short drive or bike ride to Red Rock Lake.
Inside you will find the comforts of home. Cuddle on the couch and watch a movie, cook dinner in our well appointed Kitchen, and get a good nights rest at the end of your day. Their is a main level bedroom with a comfortable king size mattress. The upstairs space is charming with 2 cozy twin beds. I love comfort when I’m traveling, so I stock the house with extra blankets, pillows, nice soaps, and a coffee bar to wake you up in the morning!

Our group of friends surprised a friend for an early retirement/birthday weekend. This property was perfect for a girls getaway. The weather was just right for a fire both nights along with s’mores.

Idyllic.
The Rock House reminded us of the adorable, cozy, and charming cottage from the movie Holiday. Thank you for sharing your special place to create some priceless memories!

Our family stayed here to check out Pella's Tulip Time festival! This amazing rock house is a work of art and a piece of history. Built-in 1856, the home features original wood floors and ornate door knobs. The home has been updated to include a modern kitchen (really nice!) and bath. This was the perfect location on the edge of Pella's town, yet easily accessible to the activities. The home was fantastic!

This historic home was a dream to stay in! We loved all of the cozy features and the outdoor gardens. The location is lovely - it's just outside of the main area, but you can easily walk into the downtown area (less than a mile). The area is quiet, and the lawn is beautiful. The house is comfortable (and the beds are very comfortable!). If we come back to Pella, I would absolutely stay here again. I would recommend it for any traveler going to Pella! One note, the stairs to the loft are a bit steep, they might be a challenge for kids under 5.

My daughters and I briefly stayed here overnight for a visit to Central College. The house was cute and comfortable and right down the road from campus. We did not utilize the kitchen or laundry but everything appeared in great condition. The stairs to the loft are incredibly narrow and steep so if anyone is using the upstairs bedroom, be sure they are able-bodied. I slept like a dream in the master suite. Would definitely stay again in the future.

The house was clean and nicely decorated, however the stairs were very steep to get up to the additional beds.

Wanted a place within 2 1/2 hours from Omaha NE and this was the perfect place to go. Very quaint and quiet given it is close to the highway. Only thing missing is a dining table of some sort. There is none and I was planning our last evening to cook a romantic dinner. There is a picnic table outside but with weather conditions wouldn't work. This is not preventing us from returning. Truly a gem!
