A nice to place to stay, rooms are basic but clean and a nice bed. The indian restaurant was very good

Weve stayed in some undesirable hotels but this one tops them all . Dirty , dated and the slats on one of the beds fell off everytime you moved .

We checked in at 2:30 saw the state of the room and checked out. The place was disgusting, dirty dark dismal the bed was rock solid light sleeping on a plank of wood. The windows were that dirty you couldn’t see through them if you touched the parent, you could feel the dirt I cannot say strongly enough that this place is a cesspit and should not be called a hotel. I truly believe that Hotels.com are letting the custom down by allowing these people to advertise this premises. I’m very disappointed in Hotels.com and even more disappointed in the so-called honours of the Rosen Crown. I lost a night free rewards on this Hotels.com would not give me back of the £140. I spent I received £60 refund. I was bit disappointed 10 nights stay with.com for me it’s 12 months worth of serving gone in a flash on top of the fact that we had to pay £300 to stay in a decent hotel, I do not. I do not recommend this Hotel.

Good size room.

Lack of coffee, and no milk for coffee, and no sugar for diabetic.

This was our 3rd trip to Haverhill and so we thought we'd try something other than the Travelodge.
Good location, with free parking but Room 4 was terrible.
The decoration is tired. (The bathroom floor covering looks older than me!)
The room is situated right above the pub/restaurant entrance and the door bangs every time someone enters or leaves. (It seemed like every door in the building slammed shut)
The bedroom window doesn't close properly so there is constant noise from traffic/drinkers.
Pub across the road has the deepest bass speaker I have ever had the displeasure of trying to sleep near. (Loud bass thumping till 1.30am)
Couldn't sleep so tried to make a cup of tea. No teaspoons! Then noticed that the milk sachets and Biscoff biscuits were out of date. (Got replacements when the staff arrived, but that didn't help me at 1am)
Miffed that I couldn't have a brew, I turned on the TV. It wasn't tuned in properly. I could watch a blocky BBC1 or listen to a couple of radio stations.
I understand that this place is cheap, but it is certainly not cheerful.
Don't say the room has a TV if you've not checked that it works.
Don't say the room has tea making facilities then provide out of date consumables.
We won't be staying there again!

We were here for my mother’s funeral and the hotel owner was very accommodating allowing us to check in early (after flying all night from the US) to freshen up, before heading to the funeral.
Located in the center of town, walking distance to everything. For a 16th century building full of history it’s nice to hear about the history of the old ‘Coach House”. Annabelle and Keith who work in the bar/restaurant area are wonderful and welcome you like family. Julie is also a very hard worker, and made sure our room was always clean and stocked. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

My two-night stay for business was comfortable and the staff were very courteous and friendy. The hotel is tired and could do with a lick of paint and the bathroom, athough roomy lacked shower gel/soap but the newly opened
Indian restaurant within the hotel made up for the deficiencies.
It was excellent - freshly prepared, tasty Indian dishes served by professional/friendly waiters and very good value for money.

Not what is a 3 star accommodation by standards

Hotel is very tired and in need of a refurb, but it was only 2/3 the price of the Travelodge and the pub bar bit did have character. The door of the bathroom wouldn't close, the double bed was really rock hard and didn't seem to have a proper mattress and the decor was very worn and tatty. However, we only needed somewhere to get our heads down so not too much of an issue and due to having a triple room it meant we only needed one room for 3 adults which made it cheap. The pub bar was traditional and fullof character though and had a few drinks in there.

Not somewhere we would stay we left that evening.didn’t stay the night. Very old fashioned pub/ hotel. Indian restaurant also in pub. Couldn’t get away with the smell anywhere. Large bedroom mattress rock hard. Need a severe update.

The reception was very cordial and welcoming. However, the corridor was very badly lit resulting in me falling over and hurting myself.
The bed was hard - too hard.
The main problem was noise. The volume from the local band was so high, the light fittings were rattling! This did actually stop dead on midnight - however, this didn't leave much sleep for my early start.

Hotel absolutly fine, good location, easy parking, comfortable on-suite room, full range of tv channels and room serviced & re-stocked during night of two day stay-no complaints whatsoever

Old and tired, might be handy to move the furniture to clean, as the floor was filthy.
