The welcome and greeting by the volunteers. The contact with the novice and sisters was exceptional and really made my stay memorable. The after dinner service was lovely.
The rush to leave the table after dinner and breakfast was a shame. I had lovely conversations with the volunteers but we were rushed away. Only 15 minutes more at the table would have been more pleasant.

Clean and comfortable for overnight stay. We arrived too late for the meal. The old building is beautiful. The grounds looked wonderful but it was too rainy to explore.
There was some confusion over my reservation due to their request for prior payment which I could not arrange from the US.

The staffs are very kind.
The garden is beautiful by roses.
We arrived there too early, but a construction worker who happened to be at the gate guided us and helped us with our luggage.

Not your average B&B or hotel but an Interesting place to stay
Warm friendly welcome and facilities especially suited to walkers/cyclists with practical touches like a boot rack, washing machine and clothes airers.
Good basic fayre. Specious plain comfortable room.
Nice invitation with no pressure to share in faith aspects of the convent's life, if desired.
Slightly formal feel in some ways, but genuine warmth and friendliness.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, she allowed us to check in earlier as the room is available. We really appreciate it esp after our Camino walk. the receptionist even called a taxi for us to our next destination. Thanks so much for their services.
No air cond and it’s really hot in summer

Stunning location in 16 th century monastery now used as a convent with hotel accomodation. Beautiful walled rose gardens and orchards. Very warm welcoming staff and charming Ursuline nuns who went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable

Chambre minimaliste mais confortable
Situation superbe

The lady on reception was bubbly and fun.
The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean
Most of the people staying there were unfriendly and bound up in their pilgrimage groups ...and a lot of them looked as though they needed God or Christ's help.
Also Google maps may take you to the convent proper rather than the hotel itself.
Plus some reviewers have suggested local restaurant s are close: true but carry a torch and wear suitable reflective clothing.
And La Brasserie Du Theron Is NOT RECOMMENDED at all. Personal opinion is that the food was not acceptable and the manager is unpleasant. And that is being polite.
