It’s a surprisingly beautiful place with a very warm hospitality. The food was amazing. Unlimited brewed coffee, fresh croissants and a lot of other delicious options for the breakfast. We had our dinner there as everything was so good. I highly recommend to visit a Nahm Dong Park which is 5 minutes walking from the hotel. Don’t forget your swimsuit as water falls there are very welcoming for swimming.
The Google maps gave us 2 roads to reach the property. One road is blocked. Ones you are on country side road you need to take upper road.

We loved our stay in Naga Lodge, Frederic and his family was very attentive, welcoming and took good care of us. Food was amazing and I highly recommend to try it out during the stay. Area and surroundings are beautiful, half kilometre away there is nature park in which you can hike whole day. Staying in Naga lodge was a highlight of our trip in Laos. Don’t be afraid of remote location is totally worth it even if you don’t have your own transport, Frederic will help you to arrange transportation.

Everything was wonderful
For travelers booking this Hotel expect that the long dirt road leading to the resort isn’t very easy by motorcycle

This place is stunning and provided a nice few days of peace and quiet for us. We rode mopeds to the property which took 30 minutes from Luang Prabang; the road isn’t great but it’s doable. They also offer transfers.
The bungalows are beautifully made. We enjoyed sitting on our deck watching the view of the mountains, whilst surrounded by tropical plants.
They serve a fantastic free breakfast.

Essen und Unterkunft sind darüber hinaus ausgesprochen "good value for money".
Für ältere Herren wie mich ist der in der Nacht notwendige Gang zur Gemeinschaftstoilette etwas aufwendig.
Die Anreise aus Luang Prabang muss privat organisiert werden - kein Shuttle Service.

It’s such an amazing discovery uniquely located not far from the town but in a perfect greenery hills and forest. It’s beautifully designed, eco style, simple but with great pinch of taste. Your hosts are looking after for all your needs, food prepared by Frederic and his wife is sublime. I’d stay longer if I could.
All was great

Where to begin. AMAZING!!! We would have stayed forever if we could have. This was honestly everything we could ever ask for accomodation wise.
To date, the most stunning property and accomodation I have had. The value for cost is insane. Every little detail was thought of, words cannot do this property justice. Our hosts, Frederic and Onh cared for us so well. And the food!!!!!! Michelin star worthy. Came for one night, stayed for 4.
All I can say is… do yourself a favour. Book at least a week. Sit back, relax, order all your food here. There is no reason to leave in our opinion.
Not one thing… aside from the fact that our stay came to and end eventually!

The whole experience of staying at Naga lodge was amazing. I stayed two nights and you definitely need at least two nights to take in this experience. That experience was made my Frederic and Onh who are the owners and managers, and all of the staff. Their spirit is in this place and I immediately felt like family. They were so careful and attentive to all the small details which make a trip so memorable. The breakfast choice was fantastic including homemade ginger bread and organic homemade jams plus a whole range of other items. Both Frederic and On are excellent cooks so there is a wide range of extremely tasty western and Asian style food, and as a vegetarian they went out of their way to make me some very special dishes. A good selection of wine and quality cocktails and Laos expresso coffee are also available. The bungalows are really well made and very clean and comfortable, with mosquito nets and electric fans to keep cool if it's hot. Comfortable chairs to sit on the balcony of the bungalow and just watch the world go by. And the view of this valley is magical. I could sit all day and watch the clouds and weather change. They have mountain bikes to rent to explore the area and it's very easy to walk and enjoy a very untouched part of village life in Laos. A very moving and memorable visit that I will not forget. A huge thank you to all there for being part of my journey.
I honestly cannot think of a single negative. The road is not in such condition in the rainy season but then that is part of the beauty of staying in a much more natural place and adds to some of its more isolated feel.
