Clean and comfortable at reasonable price. Very good location in town centre but tucked away in quiet courtyard. Nice bar and restaurant on site or several close by .
Parking for several cars on first come basis, but reasonable town car park two minutes walk away.

Central location
Having stayed here many times before , each visit becomes less enjoyable each time

Great location. Nice rooms. Loved the courtyard area where the rooms were. The staff were friendly and there was a discount in the bar for guests. We stayed on our wedding night and there was a nice card left on the bed which was a nice touch.
Although it wasn't a huge problem for us, there is a new sports bar open at the hotel which was noisy until late and could be heard from the room (hence the 9 and not 10). Could be a real issue for some. The sports bar is really good if you like that style of bar.
Parking at the hotel is minimal but there are public car parks not far away.

Completely refurbished rooms, family room was great in that you got two rooms with a separating door so could have some privacy. Comfortable beds.
Only bad point was the bathroom in the kids room was out of use. Had to go to pub to check in. The main hotel as pictured is vacant getting refurbished so was a bit lost at first. Once complete it will be excellent.

the bar menu was good and the food very nice. all improved further by 10% off as residents. The access was easy though parking was problematic because of works on going at the main building. anything we asked for was promptly and efficiently done and service by the staff was very good and all were very friendly and approachable. Everything felt clean and cared for.
I wish I had chosen a larger room. Small was selected and on reflection it was too small for two people for a week, but that was my fault not the hotels.
House keeping was sporadic eg I was happy to reuse towels but on day one I got make up on one so thought I would get it changed an left it in the shower as the notice instructed. However we didn't get new towels for three days and then we'd left them on the drying heater. We then got new ones again the next day and the day before we left. We had to ask for the coffee etc to be topped up, which it was very promptly. Our bin was only emptied on the day before we left.

The breakfast was delicious super hot gorgeous sausage fabulous selection of gourmet mushrooms lovely cold butter
Ok we really did have a lovely stay but though breakfast was fabulous it was a bit of comedy of errors in parts
The young man who served us bless him seemed like he didn’t have a clue we felt like he was standing in for someone. We couldn’t get a coffee as the machine had been cleaned and he didn’t know how to do it so I went to Costa
My husband order a fresh orange juice and he went to give him orange squash
We order a pot of tea and was told you only do cups of tea
When he brought the tea it was just a cup with the tea bag in in the hot water very stewed no saucer no teaspoon so my husband had to take the teabag out with his fingers and put the teabag on a beer mat
I’m not a sauce person but I do like brown sauce on a good sausage but was told you didn’t have any.
Non of this spoilt our experience we sat chuckling.
The chef closed the kitchen early to get ready for Sunday lunch but other guests were coming in and were told no breakfast
If I’d not got in I would have been unhappy as the only other breakfast option in Brigg on a Sunday is a weatherspoons and that is not for me.

The lovely lady who was on duty Saturday (long blonde hair, lovely laugh) was amazing. She did so many duties always with a smile and always chatting to the guests/customers. I hope that the management appreciates her value.
Car park very tight, but appreciate that the property is very old and has lots of character so there really isn’t anything that can be done, guests just need to be mindful of other vehicles!

Locality for all Brigg’s shops/pubs/eateries.
Very clean room, fresh bedding.
No room number on the door, it was difficult to find in the darkness when we arrived.
Please provide more loo roll for a 2 night stay!!

Bit basic.

The history and newness of it all and the central location in Brigg.
The evening member of staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Nothing…. Though the bathroom was super tiny
3.9
Great location for the town centre close to pubs and food excellent.
Shower could do with a bit more water pressure trivial but a nice hot shower goes a long way.

The hotel had just reopened so the room smelled of fresh paint. The room was nice and cool, and very peaceful.
