We loved this property for our first big family vacation. The house is very open and spacious for a big group. We loved how secluded the property is and the location along the river. We enjoyed watching the wildlife. We would stay here again!

We loved the house and property. We brought lots of lawn games and some blow-up kayaks and had fun floating from the HWY 27 access and playing together in the yard. Plenty of silverware but house could use more dishes - plates, bowls, cups and there was a definite wasp problem. They had been treated with something for sure because they were easy to kill but they were in the house - especially in the laundry room and front windows.

The hose was beautiful, clean, roomy and cool. The setting was gorgeous with the Little Missouri River in front. We had 15 family members there and plenty of rooms and beds. Would love to stay there again.

Families from Texas and Mississippi met for a reunion vacation. We totally enjoyed our stay. The home was comfortable, clean, and peaceful. We played in the river and enjoyed being outdoors. Kids loved the double size bunk beds with lamp and outlet for each bed. The adults greatly appreciated the king size beds with roomy, on suite bathrooms.

The house was clean and kids enjoyed playing in the creek. House was easy to get to and in a great location to get around and visit different sites in the area. Would gladly stay here again if we ever get back to the area from Michigan.

We enjoyed our stay here while visiting the Crater of Diamonds Park. Everything was clean and tidy.
Plenty of dishes, cookware, towels etc. Beds were comfy. There was plenty of room for everyone and we enjoyed the pool and ping pong tables. The view of the river was lovely and peaceful. The flies outside were a bit annoying at times, probably because of the cow pasture, but worth it for the lovely views and privacy. I would stay here again.

This was a great place to meet with family that we had not seen in years. Plenty of space to be together or take a break. The kitchen was great and we did almost all our meals there. Loved getting in the river as well that was a nice treat! We would definitely go here again if in the area.

We had 4 families with 8 kids ranging 3-10 and this was the perfect set up. For starters everything was so clean! We travel together as a group fairly often and struggle to find places that have 4 king size bed AND 4 en suite bathrooms so that was a nice bonus. The kids loved the bunk room and the game room upstairs, plus there was plenty of room for them to run, play and explore outside. The home was equipped with everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here.

House and location couldn't be better for any large family type stay you might want. We enjoyed a great visit with family for a local wedding, kitchen was perfect for cooking for a large group and very well equipped.
A big weather event happened while we were staying and the owner was super helpful and responsive. All in all a great place I would book again in a heartbeat. If your considering it don't hesitate!

We had a great time, lots of fun, and memorable family adventures at and around beautiful Peaceful River Cabin. If I had to say anything negative it would be that there is nowhere to put your folded clothes away and if you did not bring hangers you could not hang clothes on the garment rack in the bedrooms. A dresser or some other form of hanging organizer would alleviate having to live out of your suitcase during the stay and an additional nightstand in each bedroom would be nice for a bed partner to place cell phone, jewelry, water, etc. on. Wonderful place for a family vacation. Thank you :)

The property was delightful, everything eas clean and comfortable. Being by the lake was peaceful and relaxing. We fished amd had an overall good time. It could use more seating, and a table somewhere to play cards, and more seating for watching tv. Otherwise perfect stay.

It's a wonderful place to stay at. House was only a month old when we stayed in it. Pretty rough trying to figure out the roads to get there but once you're there it's great. Was an interesting decision to place a rental on a river in a cow field but there was actually a lot of fun for all the guests in our group.
With it being brand new, you for sure find out real quick what would be nice additions to the place. The bedrooms could really use a dresser or something to put your bags on and spread out some. Kitchen/dining area has plenty of space for a large dining table but doesn't have one. And I'm sure it is probably the best they can probably get out there but your phone's data will be quicker than their wifi at the house. Totally not a deal breaker if you have a good crew that likes to disconnect anyway! Other than that, just keep an eye out on the river! Our first day there, there were multiple spots that would have been over most adults' heads and the second day the water was at our ankles!

The house was roomy and new and clean. We loved having the River in our back yard. Some of us floated, swam, or fished. We took a day trip to the diamond mine and some of our fishers went up to the marina a couple days to Fish. Enjoyed the shops in town an upstream dam at Lake Greeson released water daily, with rising water levels that were unexpected and a bit concerning until we became aware and could plan accordingly the water was fun with the higher levels, but strong and much deeper for hours This was not mentioned in the listing but is important for renters to be aware of check with Army Core of Engineers for schedule of dam releases wonderful cabin for a large family vacation!!
