About this cabin rental

Welcome to “Our Hideout” in the Pocono Mountains. Nestled in the woods of a beautiful lake community. Close to ski resorts Camel Back Mountain and Jack Frost Big Boulder Mountain. Also, not far from Kalahari Indoor Waterpark.

If you like winter sports and being close to everything, this is the place to be! Yet, you get to come home to a peaceful cabin all to yourself. Enjoy both our indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. A place where everything you need is right at your fingertips. We will provide you with coffee every morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Complimentary, or course, to show how much we love our guests and want you to come back again and again.

Enjoy plush, hotel-style towels, comfy bedding and pillowy mattresses. We have gotten many compliments on how cozy our place is. That is why we maintain our Super Host standing. Just read the reviews!

Although some people prefer to be off the grid, we still offer Wi-Fi, TV, and an office workspace. There is a closet full of board games to keep the kids busy. Snuggle up to the fireplace with your fuzzy socks, hot cocoa, and make family memories together!

If you love animals, you can get up close and personal to the wildlife in our community: foxes, wild turkeys, birdwatching, and of course deer! Stay warm in the cabin while you view them from our windows. Or enjoy seeing them from the outdoor deck with firepit.

My two kids and I loved our stay at The Hideout! The house was comfortable, extremely clean and just perfect for the three of us. We loved the wooded lot next door and enjoyed the deer visitors morning and night.

I really enjoyed my stay. Got to play some golf and got some much needed relaxation. I especially enjoyed seeing the deer. It is a very cozy place to stay and I would highly recommend it. Will definitely be back again.

My husband and i spent our honeymoon at this property. Loved it. Did alot of fishing at the lake. Went did alot of site seeing. Went to the Poconos Race track. Even went to the Bushkill Falls. A little drive but enjoyed it. The house was just as the pictures plus some. Definitely going to vist again..

Stayed here for NASCAR weekend. Very convenient to the track. Neat little place. Nice grill, kitchen had the untensils and dishes needed. Didn't use the TV but only once - but worked fine. AC worked great for the hot days! Only thing is it would have been nice if the deck could have been swept or leaf blown from the leaves and ash as we had to use the front door and debris tracked inside.

It was very hot so the A/C system was much appreciated. The host left us wine and food for the deer that came right to the deck. Everything we needed was available. Enjoyed the porch swing. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our weekend at this home. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. We were there about 10 minutes when we were greeted by about 10 deer on the property, which was so cool! Our stay there was wonderful and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the Hideout. Close to ski slopes and pocono outlets. My boys enjoyed feeding the deer and after a day on the slopes we cozied up to a beautiful fireplace!!! We will definitely be back !!!!!

We wanted to enjoy snow tubing at camelback without having to pay the ridiculous Area price. Miss Barbie and her Husband provided an amazing experience at such an affordable price. You cannot beat it. I’m amazed this property isn’t booked solid at all times. Don’t miss this Gem. Indoor fire place. Dear walk right up to you. Propane grill outside. Complimentary bottles of wine. Kitchen is fully stocked with nice cookware dishes and seasonings. Just a great experience and so close to the attractions without the price I cannot say enough about these people and place. Want Poconos experience without Poconos price this is your place!!

Celebrated a 30th birthday/ girls getaway and we had the best time! It rained the entire time so we couldn’t hit the slopes so we enjoyed time at the cozy cabin more than expected. It was an absolutely perfect size house for our group. Everything was very clean. The highlight of our stay was getting up close and feeding the deer with the deer food they provide for you! It was a really cool experience. Barbie and Pete were incredibly easy to get ahold of and communicate with. I will absolutely be back to stay when in the area!!

Cute little cabin in a great community. The hosts were fantastic and left lots of helpful and fun information for things to do. Everything was very clean and welcoming. We were greeted by a group of deer not even 15 minutes after we arrived! Barbie answered any questions we had very quickly. Highly recommended!

We were looking for a cabin to spend a couple of nights in the Poconos on our way to the coast and ended up choosing this lovely little place. It was well appointed with everything we needed and was happy to see a recycling bin and we had very comfortable beds! Which to me is the make or break of a place. And the deer really do come around several times a day looking for food. The lake and beach area was so nice. The outside looks a little run down but the inside nice & updated. Small but lovely. The only thing that would have made this nicer would be if the porch/deck had been swept off. Lots of small sticks and debris and no broom even for us to sweep off ourselves. All in all very nice.

We really enjoyed this comfortable, cozy cabin. It was secluded and yet only a short drive to town with good breakfast choices, a CVS, and a wine/spirits store. Feeding deer with their adorable baby was a special treat. The deer food was in the cabin, which we put in the wooden trough outside. I cooked ribs one night and burgers the next on the excellent grill with three burners.
