Silver Rock Lodge is the quintessential Lake Tahoe home located in the Skyland lakefront community on the shores of Lake Tahoe. The house is set among beautiful pine trees and large granite boulders, hence the name Silver Rock Lodge. It's the perfect setting for a vacation any time of the year. You'll be within walking distance of the Skyland community beach and only a short drive from the Stateline Casinos and Heavenly Mountain Resort.
This fully furnished 3,600 square foot estate has five bedrooms and five baths catering to 10 guests and features a brand new hot tub!! An elevator accesses each of the home's three floors in addition to a beautiful curved staircase from the 2nd to 3rd floors. The main entry level of the home provides two separate family rooms, two dining areas, and a chef's kitchen that provides everything you need to create gourmet meals with your family and friends. The 5th bedroom and bathroom can be found as a separate 1-bedroom apartment on the ground level of the house. It's accessible via the elevator, through the garage, or a private exterior entrance. The apartment provides a private escape, with a separate kitchenette and living area, while still enjoying the proximity to the rest of your group. Please be advised that this property is not equipped with air conditioning. It is designed to take full advantage of the cool mountain air to regulate the home's temperature during the summer months. Open up the windows and enjoy the breeze.

Our family is very familiar with this neighborhood in Zephyr Cove, along with the Private beach.
Many of the homes we’ve rented in the past have had many, many stairs, this one was a delight as it was only one set of stairs to get to the front door.
The walk to the beach was easy for everyone of us, including the toddlers, about five minutes
The house was completely clean, the Internet worked well. The television worked well along with cable TV for the kids. Everything was in very good working order and met every need.
The host responded anytime we needed to hear from them, always a good thing with a vacation rental.

The property was perfect for our group - the location was absolutely superb. Close enough to Stateline/Heavenly Village but secluded enough we felt like we could escape the crowds. The private beach was an easy walk to and so nice to have access to. We had some minor issues with the home but the property manager was easy to reach and very responsive.

Arrival was seamless, plenty of bedrooms, neat outdoor space among the boulders, great office, really clean. Buckingham did a great job responding to questions and had the house stocked with coffee, some great toffee and amenities for the bathrooms. We will be back!
