Enjoy the best of both worlds – the beach and the bay – at Bay Dream Believer a charming new tiny home (RV) located waterfront on the Back Bay in Sandbridge Beach, Virginia in Surfside at Sandbridge. There is a private queen bedroom and a loft area with two additional twin beds. After enjoying the sun and surf at the beach, retreat to your own private waterfront oasis.

We have tried to think of everything you need to enjoy the perfect getaway. This new tiny home is the perfect home base whether you are seeking a quiet relaxing escape or something more adventurous. The covered detached gazebo and expansive deck on this home with ample patio furniture provides endless opportunities to relax and take in the breathtaking sunsets and abundant wildlife on the Back Bay. You are welcome to use our beach chairs and umbrella for some fun, relaxing beach time. If you are feeling adventurous, we have a two seater kayak available for your use in exploring the bay (swim or boat at your own risk). In addition, the gated Surfside complex provides two outdoor pools, a sauna, playground, fitness room, tennis courts, basketball court, and boat ramp for you to enjoy during your stay. You can also bring your bicycles or rent them locally and bike in the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge and False Cape State Park. If you choose to spend some time indoors, we invite you to enjoy the 2 flat screen smart televisions with cable TV, WiFi, assorted books and movies.

To ensure that you enjoy a restful vacation, there is a private master bedroom with a queen sized bed. This home also has a double loft with two twin beds and a lounging/play couch, gas grill, a full kitchen (including dishwasher, stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave and other basic housewares), and a private bathroom with standard plumbing fixtures (not RV or camper style). Pets are considered on a case by case basis (but generally welcome) and are subject to payment of an additional fee.

This tiny home is conveniently located for visiting Sandbridge Beach. Although you could bike or walk to the beach, there is ample free on-street parking near the many public beach access points and this home is located near Little Island Park which provides parking, bathhouses, playground, and a fishing pier for your beach outing. The resort is two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, and this home is located near the back of the resort to provide you additional privacy and unobstructed 180+ degree bay views.

Perfect for couples, small groups and families, this home sleeps up to 4 guests and provides an incredible vacation value when compared to Virginia Beach oceanfront hotels or larger Sandbridge rental homes. In addition, unlike other beach rentals that impose a substantial additional fee, we provide clean linens and towels for your use at no additional charge.

Please note several important items: 1- Due to storm damage the dock will remain closed to guest use during the spring/summer 2024 rental season. Guests can still launch kayaks, fish, etc from the yard/bulkhead and enjoy the beautiful bay views.) 2- This is a tiny home and as such is cozy and less than 400 sq ft total size. The loft area is suitable for smaller individuals only as the emergency exit windows and steep, narrow staircase with low head clearance are not well suited to larger individuals. 3- This tiny home is located in a gated RV resort. The other lots in the resort are privately owned and are occupied by other recreational vehicles of various types. 4- Due to the seasonal nature of rentals and the need to monitor our property when it is unoccupied, we have an exterior doorbell camera and an exterior camera facing the parking area. We have no interior cameras. We respect our guests’ privacy, but took this measure to ensure we can safeguard our property.

Our vacation was excellent for our family of 4! Owner was very responsive. The location on the back bay is great and it is so close to the water. The tiny home had everything we needed and more (kayak, beach supplies, pickleball). Our 2 kids really enjoyed the loft area and having their own space. Home was very clean and spacious. Highly recommend and would stay again!

This tiny home was so beautiful! Everything was just like the pictures. The view in the evening when the sun was setting was beautiful. The whole process was very easy. The host made it very easy to get ahold of her if we had needed anything . We loved getting up in the mornings and heading to the back bay. Then to the beach in the afternoon. There was parking at the entrance of the resort and it was an easy walk to the beach from there. Everyone was very friendly. We never made it to the pools but it was an easy walk to the one pool and it looked so nice.

If I could give this one more than 5 stars I would! The house was so clean and comfortable. The communication with the owner was phenomenal. They checked in to see if we got in ok if we had any issues with the property and to make some recommendations for visits during our stay as well. The house itself was stocked with absolutely anything you could have needed. Not to mention the location and view are far better than we imagined. When we return to Sandbridge I will most definitely be staying here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this little cottage. You have the best of both worlds - waterfront view of the bay and easy access to the beach. The campground was very clean and quiet for a holiday weekend. Since the cottage sits at the back of the campground, I would recommend bringing bikes to get around if you don’t want to walk or drive. We enjoyed riding our bikes to the beach every evening and even to dinner at Baja one night, which is right next to the campground. The host was great to communicate with and answered any questions in a quick, timely manner. Will definitely book again in the future.

This is a most adorable, delightful tiny house that we had the pleasure of staying in for a few days in April. Everything is well thought out for a easy, relaxing experience for guests. What's not to love about the wonderful light filled space and just enjoying the water view! The kitchen provides all the food prep tools, cookware, plates, glasses, etc. to make a favorite dinner while on vacation! Remember to bring salt, pepper and spices if you want to make your meal tasty as you eat in. Linens were fresh & clean; tasteful beach decor as well.

The weather did not cooperate to enhance the location. This is a cozy little spot on the Back Bay. In nice weather, the outside space appeared to be ideal for deck-sitting and sunset viewing. The community is a gated RV park so neighbors are close. The property had a dock and water access, but it was damaged and roped off. Sandbridge has some small eating and pub locations with good food and service. If weather permits there is a wildlife refuge and public beach.

5 stars across the board! This cottage over looking the bay was super clean, quiet, and in my opinion, located in one of the best spots in the rv resort. The sunsets were amazing! Secluded, yet an easy drive to the boardwalk and other VA Beach attractions. Very quick access to the beach, and Back Bay Wildlife Refuge. Definitely recommend Baja and Jose Tequilas if you’re looking for a bite close by. Both within walking distance of you prefer.

We went for a quick birthday weekend getaway. The place was really cute. AMAZING View!! Cant beat it. The RV resort was really quiet and peaceful. We had our dog with us. He loved the view from the loft. It was perfect for the 2 of us and the dog. Not sure it would be comfortable with more than 2 people. I would definitely do it again.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The cabin was well stocked, clean with wonderful views. The host was easy to communicate with and prompt with responses. The community is quirky but quiet and situated nicely to the park at the end of the beach. We had two golden retrievers with us, and they enjoyed access to the beach in the early morning. The weather was iffy for the first two days but that’s life. If I was to give some constructive criticism it would be to upgrade the linens. At the price per night, I would expect a higher quality lines package for sheets, bath and blankets. Other than that, the kitchen was well stocked, everything worked well, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

We loved this tiny house! So close to the water it was like being on a houseboat! Great community and we could walk to the beach and several restaurants. We took our dogs and they were very comfortable and enjoys the water and community. The property was well equipped and had everything we needed.

This tiny house was perfect for my husband and my long weekend get away. We walked to the beach, drove to the back bay refuge and hiked, watched Phillies game and enjoyed sunsets on the deck. Just the right size for two! Very clean and excellent location. Neighbors were quiet.

This was the perfect spot to relax by the water. I loved everything about it. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the dock was damaged by a storm and we were unable to use it. Hopefully, by the time we go back, it will be repaired. Everything about the process of renting the tiny house to checking in and out was super easy and both contacts we had were very friendly and helpful.
