The cabin was clean and cozy. The outside area was well maintained, it was quiet and there was plenty of privacy from neighbors. We were not able to get the Wi-Fi or Direct TV to connect. The hot tub was out of service as well. Those things were disappointing but not a deal breaker. We enjoyed our stay!

Everything was great, cabin and hot tub were clean. The location was perfect, close to the must see spots and there was a grocery store in Laurelville to get everything you need. The only thing that could be improved is more cook ware but no biggie. I will mention that there are a lot of ticks so if you bring your pup make sure they are on prevention. Over all we loved it and if we return to that area would definitely stay there again

This place was an ok place to stay with my husband and we got to bring our dog which was a bonus. There wasn’t much around the cabin like I thought and I would’ve planned things a little better. It could’ve used a better clean job and could’ve had a few more towels. The bed was small and not comfortable. The hot tub was nice and that also needs a better clean job and work on the jets. Overall is was just ok.

First impression was the lack of information, said pet friendly but 2 days before the stay we got a "welcome guide" that says no pets. Contact the management company (not a home owner) and they extort another fifty per pet. They claim there was an option during booking, but there was not. Whomever runs the VRBO contact was short and rude. This is where the bad taste in my mouth begins. I contacted VRBO about this and they didn't do a darn thing and acted like they didn't care "oh we'll write a report on this" pppffft Will never likely use VRBO ever again. Don't trust the picture, most likely they were manipulated. This "house" is OLD, check Zillow and it was built in the 70's. They have remodeled the inside and I'm sure it looks better than it did, but I'm still not impressed. Best part about the outside is the firepit/gill area. For $x a night, I expect much better then this. This is worth Motel 6 rates per night and I'm being very generous. Mouse droppings in the silverware tray. Thick layer of dust in the vent on the entrance wall looks like it wasn't cleaned in 10 years, and you see this upon entering. Bed was a full size not queen. Dresser crammed into the closet since couldn't even be fully opened. They do have DirecTv, which wasn't mentioned, which was very suprising, however I almost broke my neck on the unburied cable. Half of the hot tub jets wouldn't work and after in three a bit, saw nasty brown film and a stain line. Never AGAIN, DISGUSTING!!!

Overall this place was great for a quick relaxing getaway for our family. The hot tub during a snow storm was so relaxing, and our pup was able to hang out with us on the covered porch. Such a cute little cabin. Communication was quick and easy and we had no issues with checking in. My only complaint is it was quite dusty, and we had to wash the dishes before we could use them. They were all dirty.

WiFi didn’t work. Hot tub was full of algae. Place itself was fine, but not completely up to par.
