Comfortable, however the couch is needing replacement along with the master bed, mattress and base needs replacement. Spa is average jets don’t all work. The upstairs shower leaks over the main entrance

Absolutely stunning apartment with everything you need and more. Spectacular location with unbelievable views. Beautiful setup in every way. Can't wait to return for a much longer stay. Highly recommended for couples staying over in Strahan.

This apartment is beautiful! The view of Strahan Harbour both downstairs and upstairs just couldn’t be beaten. It is comfortable and stylish and convenient. It was scrupulously clean. We only had one night, but it was hard to leave.

Wow!!!! This would have to be the best accommodation I have ever stayed. Such a unique design and an absolutely amazing view. Do yourself a favour and stay here - you won’t regret it - unless you can’t manage steps - not suitable for those who are unable to climb steps.

Didnt sleep at all, bed incredibly uncomfortable. Stairs are very unsteady internally. Kitchen scant on utinsels. Spa was dirty. Some windows cant be opened. Air conditioner had black inside. Staying here ruined our trip because with no sleep we couldnt drive to cradle mountain to walk. Missed out. We checked out after one night because we couldnt go with no sleep again. Asked owner for refund for subsequent nights. She refused. Avoid!

The main focus is on the view but the property needs a bit of love and a bit more money for small upgrades. On the downside the only thing we were put off by it was the BBQ , which wasn't clean at all and it couldn't be used. Such a shame when you have a view like that and there was no table outside in the little garden overlooking the water. Otherwise the place is great, you have everything you need for cooking, great shower upstairs. Also a place like this without flyscreens?? And in the bedroom.upstairs there is a portable aircon and in order to be used one has to take the exhaust hose out the windows, and there is no fly screen as I mentioned earlier.

Very nice location with amazing views of the bay. Short drive or longer walk to all the local attractions. Property was showing some age but nothing that impacted our stay.

Needed more bath towels which were not changed over 3 days and more crockery and pots,( only 3 wine glasses no serving boards, limited cooking utensils.) Toiletries were not replenished. If above provided would be an absolutely brilliant stay but for the money expect more . Did ring and told to get out if shed only found gklasses. Position and ckeanliness unsurpassed.

We were expecting a nice apartment - but this exceeded our expectations! Our breath was taken away the second we opened the door to the most spectacular views. The view was amazing and no photos can give it justice. You could see mountains in the distance over the water. There was a spa on the top level you could sit in and watch the sunset each night. We were planning on using the apartment as a base to explore cradle mountain national park - but ended up staying there to whole time and enjoying the apartment and views. The apartment itself was very luxurious and had everyhing you could need. We would definitely book again and recommend to friends.

The Wheelhouse has an amazing location on a cliff overlooking the bay. It has superb sunsets and stargazing, making for a very romantic stay. The amenities are modern and all the conveniences are there. Overall an outstanding experience.

Superb views and room amenities. The nautical theme is good but has some minor maintenance issues. Kids really enjoyed it and wife and I enjoyed the super-large upstairs loft. An open fire would have made it 11 out of 10. (We stayed in winter). Air-con was warm enough but fire for ambience would be superb.

Loved the location, views and overall amenity of this house. There were small aspects that would have improved our overall experience: As a family traveling for several weeks in winter a clothes dryer would have been beneficial. Our experience was let down by the amount of chipped crockery and lack of cleanliness of the crockery. If these were replaced our experience would have been perfect. The coffee machine and spa bath were a real treat. The wall mounted split heating system worked well to keep the whole two levels warm and cosy. The expansive picture windows offered a breathtaking vista of the harbor and a fabulous position to watch the passing electric storms. Loved the little sitting area under the stairs- Great retreat nook. Such a beautiful and tranquil place to stay -highly recommend.”

Terrific location with fabulous views. Great to have a toilet and shower on both levels. Unfortunately, no bubbles or bathrobes for the spa. Super noisy stairs. Really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend highly.

This place is amazing, the view perfect. It had everything we needed plus some and we could walk everywhere. The only thing we didn't get that we wanted was The Southern Lights (& they certainly have no control over that). We did however get an amazing lighting show.

No pictures are shown of the second bedroom which is only a double bed and very cramped. There is a washer but no dryer. Windows leaked with rain coming in. For the price this house looks good but performs under par.

Thoroughly enjoyed this stay, property exceeded our expectations. It's worth noting that there is no phone reception or wifi. Will definately be back.
