About this house rental
All-season 4 bedroom, 2 storey lakefront home on quiet Harp Lake. Hardwood flooring. Roomy comfortable bedrooms, 2 on each floor, each with a queen bed. One crib in each main floor bedroom, upon request. Combined living and dining room with pine floors and ceiling and wood burning fireplace. Two bathrooms, one on each floor. 2nd story bathroom has a shower stall. Main floor bathroom has a full tub. Pack'n play, high chair, booster seat available. Spacious screened-in Muskoka room facing Harp Lake. Good privacy, with beautiful crown land highlighted by Canadian Shield rock as our neighbour to our south.
15 minute drive to downtown Huntsville. 10 minute drive to Arrowhead Provincial Park. 15 minute drive to Hidden Valley Ski Resort. 35 minute drive to Algonquin Park.
BBQ on a covered deck, so easy to use in inclement weather.
Harp Lake is a small, quiet land-locked lake. There is a public boat launch 1 km from the cottage if you wish to bring a motor boat. This area is also used as a public beach with a shallow sandy entry. Boat traffic is minimal on our lake. Please note there are some rocky areas that should be avoided with motorized watercraft. Refer to our cottage binder for detailed descriptions of locations of rocks. We are accepting a minimum of 7 day bookings. Please inquire if you need less than this and we will try to accomodate you.
