We were in NC for our daughter’s wedding and this was the perfect place to soak in the mountain views with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. You would never need to leave the porch!

This home was described accurately and was very well appointed. There was very little we found ourselves looking for during our stay. The proerty management team was very responsive.
We left feedback for the owners that was very minimal and would recommend this properly for anyone looking to be tucked away from the bustle of the towns and a quiet place to relax.
Plenty of towels, linens, and homey amenities. Hot tub was a huge plus with the cold weather during our stay. Drive up and down to the property was not terribly challenging.
We had ladybug visitors that did not bother us, but as this is a mountain side property it’s expected to have little visitors from time to time.

We mostly explored. The Blue Ridge Parkway was amazing. We chased waterfalls and enjoyed hiking. We got to enjoy both winter and spring with 70 degrees weather to snow flurries. The house was totally equipped with all our needs.

The location was nice for us. Nice restaurants located in Waynesville and Maggie Valley. My husband went on day hikes with the dogs. I was in recovery mode for a knee replacement, so I stayed around the house and rested, did my exercises and read. Very pleasant surroundings.

This was an awesome house. The location on top a mountain was more than we could have ever expected. Fully furnished with every essential. One of our best vacations ever.

We were blessed to stay right at the start of the Fall color season. We really enjoyed the stunning morning mountain view with a good cup of coffee on the large deck. This cabin was a convenient drive to Maggie Valley and Waynesville with never more than 10 minutes or so to restaurants or attractions, while still feelin secluded on the mountain. This is definitely on our list of places we want to stay again!

The house was gorgeous and well furnished, and the views are amazing. The road to the house was steep and narrow but overall pretty manageable. The only downside of our stay was the extensive amount of cleaning expected when we already paid a substantial cleaning fee (laundry, dishes, hauling trash to the dump or paying an additional fee).

We arrived to find the property just as we expected. Everything was ready and inviting. (Note that the bed in the room with bunk beds is a full and didn’t sleep 2 adults but we made it work.)
We did have a short term problem with the refrigerator and we’re very impressed that the property manager, Melissa, took care of it very efficiently. Thank you!
Our stay was so much fun!

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful cabin with awesome mountain views. The kitchen was well supplied, and layout was perfect for multiple "chefs". The interior of the cabin was charming, and both porches were very large and had magnificent views. We would love to stay here again.

My family absolutely loved staying here! The house is beautiful and so are the views. It's very cozy and central to lots of activities like hiking, elk viewing, gem mining and more. Will definitely consider returning again.a

This was an amazing stay. The house is the last one on a long winding (steep) road. It’s has sweeping long range views that were enjoyed both day and night. The fire pit area was super cool- s’mores were enjoyed almost nightly! The furnishings were comfortable and accommodating- I just wouldn’t change anything about this place. Waynesville is just down the street. Asheville is about 30 mins away. Super dog friendly- my doodles loved playing in the yard leaves! It was just awesome. Truly. I will absolutely be coming back to this place next season. You couldn’t keep me away if you tried! Thank you for sharing this space with us VRBO’ers!

Great location, very private. Everything was in great condition. Only complaint is the upstairs was hot and downstairs was freezing, could use more ceiling fans. This was during a crazy heat-wave in the summer, may not be an issue in cooler months.

Property was very clean and plenty of space and amenities. all in good working order. This was our second time staying at this cabin because we .liked it so much the first time., which we had never done before. The only thing that had changed was that they got rid of Direct TV in favor of streaming and I did not like not having local news and weather channels, but a minor issue as we did not spend a lot of time watching TV. Great location to most highways to get to most of the things we wanted to do which were all in reasonable proximity to the cabin. Would stay here again except the price has gone up significantly making it cost-prohibitive for our small group. Would be good cabin for more family to share.

Great week of hiking, hot tubing, sightseeing and good food all with a great view.
Great location, just did not realize hikes and national parks were further away than we thought

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this home and would strongly recommend the property. First, it was very CLEAN, which is a must for us. The property is much nicer than the pictures and we felt immediately at home. The hot tub worked perfectly, and the porch was large, in great shape, and had lots of seating.. The gas grill and games (ping pong and foosball) were fun! We used the fire pit and enjoyed sledding down the hill when it snowed the first day. Location is very good. Easy access to downtown Waynesville and Maggie Valley, and also made day trips to Asheville, Sylva, Dillsboro, Cherokee, Smoky Mountain National Park, Max Patch, and Blue Ridge Parkway. All of these places in less than a week proves the location is very strong. Cabin had everything we needed and was so comfortable. Great wifi and streaming tv offerings. Fire wood provided for the fire pit for an extra fee. Peaceful and private. View was also good considering how close you are to downtown, shopping, grocery stores, etc. Would definitely recommend and return again. Enjoy!

This house is beautiful! It is the last house at the top of a curvy quiet road. Their are neighbors below you but you are hard pressed to see them and we never heard them. We did hear a lot of wild turkeys though! The location is convenient to Waynesville, so we got to enjoy several restaurants like Boojum Brewery, Chef’s Table and Frog Level Brewery ( we went to others but those three shouldn’t be missed). Even though it was April, it was snowing when we arrived. The hot tub was incredible in the snow!!
10.0
The cabin was exactly what we were expecting, and more. It is easy to get to and we had cell service the entire week (Verizon). The house was very clean and well-appointed, and everything worked as expected. The hot tub was already warmed up for us also so we could relax after a long drive.
The house is at the very end of a winding and sometimes steep paved road, but nothing scary or impassable. It could be a little intimidating in the snow or ice, but it was perfect conditions for our week in the end of March. It was so nice having the privacy without having to drive miles and miles into the mountains.
Check-in process was perfect and everything was laid out in a folder left for us, which answered pretty much any questions we had.
The area right outside the property is mostly rural with some trailer lots, but nothing that is an eyesore from the property. Maggie Valley and Waynesville are a short drive away and have restaurants and grocery stores. I reccomend going to Cataloochee Valley for hiking and elk watching, and for a very challenging drive on a twisty dirt road in the mountains. Its not far from the cabin, but ends up being about a half hour due to the driving in the mountains.
We would happily recommend the house to anyone looking for a vacation in the "mountains" without worrying about needing an ATV to get there. :)

Very nice house that the two of us enjoyed very much. Nice views from the living areas, convenient to Waynesville, short trip to Ashville and several trails in NE GSMNP. We have rented several houses in the NC GSMNP (Bryson City, Sylvia, Alarka) region and would rate this house as one of the best. The hot tub was very nice and we did enjoy its use. One word of caution, as explained to us by management company, if you are coming in on a back to back weeks the hot tub takes time to reheat after servicing. In our case it was at 100f at 10PM , still too cold for my liking. A minor disappointment that would have been a nice to know in advance. By the next morning it was at 104F and no further issues. Overall experience was great and definitely would recommend.

We absolutely loved this cabin! We stayed for Christmas/New Year's week and between the ping pong table, the hot tub, the cozy fireplace and the spacious cabin, we were not ready to come home. The cabin was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the cabin had a good stock of supplies to get you started. On top of all that, the views off either porch are amazing and the location is perfect. You get the secluded feel you typically want of a cabin by being at the end of the road/top of the mountain, yet you are very close to town. Heading into Waynesville for dinner, walking around Lake Junaluska, or going to see the elk at Cataloochee was all we needed for a relaxing outing. We can't wait to come back, it really feels like a home away from home!

Wonderful house in the mountains - clean, fun, and perfect for a small group getaway. The owners thought of everything when preparing the house for visitors - we had a wonderful time!

Our first Christmas away from our home felt surprisingly homey! We were thrilled to spend a week in your lovely home. The setting felt secluded for privacy/peace, yet conveniently proximate to Asheville and Bryson City where we visited friends and family. The days bring gorgeous views of surrounding valleys and mountains. The night brings complete silence accompanied by stars and moonlight. The furnishings are new and comfortable. The bedding is perfect for winter nights. The master bedroom on the main floor is welcoming with nice finishes. The two basement bedrooms provide space for the older kids. Even the foosball table and board games were enjoyed by our group. The hot tub provided extra time for those college kids to have real conversations without texting or social media, however the WIFI and Direct TV were much appreciated. We toured the Biltmore Estate, hiked at Deep Creek in Bryson City, watched the elk in nearby Cataloochee Valley, and hosted a small gathering for Christmas morning brunch. Our favorite meals out were at Joey's Pancake House and Frankie's Italian Trattoria both in Maggie Valley. By far the best VRBO experience so far!

Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had such a wonderful & relaxing time, and really appreciate that we were able to bring our Golden with us. We loved everything about the house, it was such a warm and comfortable home. The kitchen was amazing and had everything we could possibly need, and the views off the deck were excellent. I could just go on and on about every room in the house. :) We enjoyed having our morning coffee looking out over the mountains. The quality of everything in the house was exceptional, and decorated perfectly. Also the location of the house was perfect, not far from downtown Waynesville for shopping and dining. We highly recommend Sweet Onion for dinner. We definitely look forward to coming back for another visit, hopefully soon. :)

We have stayed at a series of cabins and rentals, but this home greatly exceeded any and all expectations we could have had. It was only my fiancé and I, but the home is easily able to accommodate larger groups. We loved the open floor plan; with the gas fireplace, it was such a cozy and intimate setting. The views of the Smoky Mountains were easily seen from every room in the house, and waking up to such a gorgeous backdrop was just breathtaking. The master bath was large, spacious, and updated. The bed was the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in - so much so that it was really hard tearing myself away from it every morning. The kitchen is well appointed, which was great since we cooked a few meals while we were there. And the location was easy to get to and close to town. The hot tub was immaculate and perfect for a leisurely soak while taking in the views. There is plenty of seating on the two level deck, which would be great for summer visits (nonetheless we used it in the cold weather because we couldn't resist). And finally, the owners are a gracious, kind couple who made us feel so at home, and the property managers were extremely helpful in getting us settled. I cannot say enough good things about this rental. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! Thank you so much for a wonderful, relaxing vacation :-)

We spent the last week of August in this wonderful home. I am from the area so this was the perfect location to visit family and friends. The location is easy access to Waynesville, Ashville, Maggie Valley and many more. We were traveling with my husband, daughter and 17 month old granddaughter. Everyone had plenty of space. My favorite part of the house was the large covered deck on the upper level. We were able to sit in the rocking chairs or eat at the large outdoor table and watch our granddaughter play. We used the grill several times. The views are beautiful. We loved watching the hummingbirds while we drank our coffee. We would happily stay here again.

What a wonderful vacation! Friends joined me on this NC adventure and all agreed that we could stay forever. The home is exactly as described online and the pictures depicted exactly what the house had to offer.
The views were incredible on a sunny day, during the rain (only 1afternoon) and while the morning fog was lifting from the mountains. Our weather was perfect and being from Florida temps in August, it was so exciting to need a light wrap in the evenings.
Waynesville is a delightful town with some of the friendliest folks I have ever met. Asheville is only 30 minutes away and has much to offer. We even went to the casino in Cherokee one afternoon. There just wasn't enough time to do all the things we wanted to do.
The owners called the first night of my stay to be sure that all was as expected. The rental agent was rresponsive and easy to deal with.
Loved the time spent and next year, I would like to spend a month in this wonderful home.

This beautifully maintained home had wonderful views, great kitchen for the cooks, and comfortable beds. The covered porch is fabulous for watching the birds, and for those rainy days or nights. We enjoyed seeing some visiting cows, chipmunks, and a groundhog, and of course, many hummingbirds. During the trip on the Blue Ridge we saw some wild Elks, Bobcat, and Deer. The home is in a great proximity for easy travel to different areas.
All in all, hiking, whitewater rafting, fishing, and sightseeing....along with great food, and being able to relax in a nice comfortable home, was what the doctor ordered. The whole family enjoyed their self. We would definitely recommend this home.

This is a beautiful cabin located at an elevation of 3020 feet. Great views from the living areas and the decks. The cabin is at the end of the road so there is no traffic at all in the area, and no neighbors in the immediate area. The furnishings are great as well as the fully equipped kitchen, the gas grill on the deck, the hot tub and the fire pit. We had 4 adults and 3 small children staying at the cabin and it was perfect for that number of people.
You are close to Waynesville and Maggie Valley so lots of shopping and restaurants just a short drive away. In Waynesville we really recommend Bogart's for steaks, Mast General store for souvenirs, and Ingles for groceries (and they have a Starbucks). The cabin owners are great and they answered a lot of my questions about the cabin and the area around Waynesville. I would like to go back again sometime in the fall to see the leaves changing color. This was the first time we rented a cabin in the mountains and it was a great experience.

The house sits at the end of a .6th mile driveway up the side of a mountain. It has a beautiful view from the balcony of the valley and surrounding mountains. It is very secluded and quiet. It has a back porch and balcony that runs the length of the house. The interior is decorated in warm tones and is inviting and comfortable. The hot tub was the perfect place to watch a thunderstorm off in the distance. We had a very relaxing escape. The owners were easy to contact by phone or text. They were very kind and cooperative. We would highly recommend this lovely mountain retreat.
